The Lenovo ThinkPad Pen Pro for X1 Yoga is an ideal input solution giving users 2048 levels of pressure for precise content creation. Users will also enjoy easy access to right and left click buttons built into the shaft of the pen that provide additional tools for data interaction. This pen is unique to the ThinkPad X1 Yoga in that it can be stored in the system pen slot made specifically for that pen. While being stored, the pen will recharge and allow the user up to 130 minutes (active use) of battery life off of a single charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not fit the laptop's charging dock The original pen was loosing connectivity and we determined that it was due to the fact that the battery was not recharging. We ordered a replacement which we thought would be relatively easy to do. The pen arrived as promised, but when my daughter tried to insert it into the docking station the battery recharging leads were on the opposite side of where the original pen had them. The pen cannot be used on the laptop that she has.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functioning, but ill-fitting The pen is functional. However, it does not fit into the slot in my Thinkpad X1 Yoga (the end sticks out. It works fine, but the fact that it doesn't fit into the model it was designed for seems a bit odd.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't fit. I lost the pen that came with the PC. Ordered the replacement. It didn't fit the slot. Sticks out. Can't tell if the pen is charging as a result. Lenovo does not do a good job labeling what MODEL each PC is. It says Thinkpad on the cover, and has an X1 sort of marking, so I thought I ordered the corresponding pen. Will have to return to see if they can get this right.

It is incompatible with my Yoga C740, even though I only bought it becuase it came up on the Lenovo website as recommended accessory. Be careful before you purchase from Lenovo. There is no customer service. I can't find any way to contact them or return it. I could only send a form email through the returns page and it fails to send ever time I try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicate Pen for Amazing Function This is a robust tool that unlocks one of the best parts of the X1 Yoga- being able to take notes directly on the screen in tablet mode. It arrived quickly and intact. It's unclear to me exactly what happened with my previous one, but the tip became loose and the fine-resolution feedback that is necessary for to work was gone. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the sticker on the side of the stylus that gets caught on the inside of the slot in the body of the X1 Yoga every time you try to take it in or out. I worry that this is what led to the tip eventually getting damaged. However, it lasted 3 years and I think the price of buying this replacement was not unreasonable.
