I was surprised not to find features that I would consider pretty basic these days, such as a light sensor next to the front camera that allows for automatic adjustment of the screen brightness. The internal storage is pretty limited, so this tablet is not for you, if you intend to install many apps. On the plus side, I was completely blown away by the Dolby Atmos speakers: the surround sound from compatible apps like Netflix is outstanding. Overall, recommended for light use (especially entertainment), but I would look at the more expensive models if you are considering a heavy or more professional use. It is fast enough that sometimes we play Minecraft together with him as a host. Of course it lags on my screen but that is a demanding application and the tablet performs. It holds the battery charge very well too, he takes it to school everyday and often I only charge it every-other day. Screen resolution, tactile response, etc are very good too. Best of all I think the price was also very good. I had no problem finding a suitable case and screen protector. I wanted a bigger screen than my phone so I could put up study notes next to book text, and did not want to spend a lot, since this would be a supplementary tool. The size is perfect (my laptop is too big and cumbersome for the task), and the performance is quite adequate for my needs. It may be slow for games or CPU intensive projects, but for my reading, photos, and music, it works perfectly well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
