The Multiservices PIC significantly expands the services flexibility of the Juniper Networks M and T-series routers by enabling a broad range of services and applications in a single PIC form factor that can also serve are an integral part of a security solution. Stateful firewall, Network Address Translation (NAT), flow monitoring, and even elementary anomaly detection can be layered simultaneously on each MS-PIC - creating a rich, scalable "services plane".
