Juniper Networks High Capacity - network device fan tray

Ensure that all router components keep functioning at an optimum temperature by using the Juniper Networks High-Capacity Fan Tray, designed for use with the Juniper Networks MX960 5G Universal Routing Platform. The MX960 router has two fan trays located in the front of the router that install horizontally above and below the card cage. Each high-capacity fan tray contains twelve fans and are installed in the upper and lower fan tray slots. The fan trays are hot-insertable and hot-removable. The MX Series high-capacity fan trays satisfy cooling requirements for high-density DPCs and MPCs, and must be upgraded for proper cooling. The minimum required Junos OS software release to support this high-capacity fan tray is 10.0 R1.
