They have nice punchy bass and great mids but a little lacking in the highs and over all clarity. Still though they are better than most. I like the app and control abilities of these headphones. The smart sound feature doesn't really work that well, I personally don't use it. I love the water resistant feature! Fast charging, great distance and over all build seems solid. I do wish they did go Louder.. So far a happy purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null The Jabra Elite 85h is an extremely engineered headset in my opinion. It is easy to set up from your phone via Bluetooth. I purchased it mainly for PC based online meetings, which works great if you purchase, separately a USB dongle for about £15.

The Elite 85H connects to my Bluetooth transmitter within 10 seconds of turning the headphones on first and the Bluetooth transmitter second. Battery storage lasts over 30 hours before a recharging need. The range is excellent throughout my 1300 square foot house including the basement. The 5.0 Bluetooth shows no noticeable lip sync distortion when watching TV. I use the Elite 85H headphones 10-15 hours a week.

The call quality was better than expected. The noise reduction was great for me. The sound quality was excellent. The case is nice and sleek. Excited to take them on a flight and see how they do with charging and the weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I bought this product after considering the Sony and Bose. We also have a set of Audio Technica noise cancelling headphones. My son has the Bose. I can't speak to the Sony. Noise cancelling is on par with Bose and AT, possibly a slight edge to the Jabra on both. The same with the sound quality. I will say that in a quiet room the Jabra has less hiss background noise. I did a sound quality test against some Koss pro3aaa wired headphones using the phone and Spotify at 256k quality level. I know a true test would be off the CD player, but that is not how I use these headphones. The Koss do not have noise cancelling or a microphone for phone calls. They have hands down better sound quality. If you don't need active noise cancelling save your money and buy some $60 or so Koss headphones. They block sound like a set of hearing protection headphones. I am happy with the Jabra for noise cancelling headphones and would buy them again over the others I have used. I like the phone app that allows equalization specific to the head phones and an easy way to change the level of noise reduction without fiddling around on the headset. I like the two year warranty. I like the water resistant claim, we'll see how that works out. I will use them for mowing the lawn and working with other loud machinery. I used them for a two hour flight and can't complain. These are not good for walking around with. For one your footsteps resonate like a giant is walking around your head. Another is if you are around street traffic it is very dangerous, they really block out a lot of noise.
