Rated 5 out of 5 by from All-in-One-Printer WorkhorseI am in love with this printer! I have been looking for a printer that could print wide format things while still being able to print my standard items. This device does so much it, scans; faxes; prints standard sizes, smaller sizes, and larger sizes!when I first opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised that the design was actually visually appealing. Lots of printers in the market are not very nice to look at but this one is very simple and streamlined. I really liked that the ink cartridges are really big. I know some people may be put off by the fact that all three color inks are deprecate cartridges but don`t let that sway you! I love having all three color inks separate because once on e ink is out, you don`t have to replace the whole cartridge when there is ink left in the other colors. I also enjoy the fact that is printer has so many wireless features. It connects to a wireless network which means no extra wire for that internet connection. It also allows you to print from a wireless device without having to plug in the printer to your device. But I think out of all the wireless features, I was most excited about the wireless scanning. All you have to do is scan an item on the printer and then it`ll pop right up on your wireless computer! The only thing I wish could have been better is the resolution in the scanner. Overall, the design, the functionality, and the price, are completely worth it if you are looking for a good all around office printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from performance....my old 6200 all in one...02 ink... five color out performs this printer and most of the others.. for highest of picture color... I sell my pictures and they are really easy to tell the different in sharpness and color... bring back the quality of the older photosmarts printer... and five color ...the main things that goes out with the older all in one... is the roller... would rather have them as even the new ones go about one yr... these 7720 and others of this one seem to get in lines going thru the pictures and ruin them.... more than the others... and uses a lot of ink trying to get it to fix it... maybe for every day no photo type for sale. rollers are acting up with mine of and one … can't pick up photo paper.... out of eight hp printers I have had... this is a common problem.... please make them stronger...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than ExpectedI received a free sample of this printer in exchange for my honest review of the product. This printer was very easy to set up right out of the box. All you need to do is scan the QR code, download the HP printer app, and follow the step by step instructions. They even include short videos to follow. As for the printer itself, the plastic casing is kind of cheap looking and flimsy. It also makes a squeaking sound when you print anything. That being said, the print quality is actually pretty good. I like that, when you print a picture, it keeps the proportion of the picture correct. In comparison, I have another printer which stretches the picture to conform to the paper. The ink is also relatively good at keeping true to the original color. However, the replacement ink is quite expensive, so you`ll need to keep that mind when considering this printer. HP does offer an automatic ink replacement service at a reduced cost. But, you have to buy into a plan that allows for certain numbers of pages per month. For my particular needs, this is not worth while. One nice thing about this printer is that it provides an email address so that you can send something to print by sending it to that email address. In reading other comments about this printer model, it seems that some people have problems disconnecting from their network. I experienced this once during the first week that I had the printer. The Printer Information Report indicated that the printer was connected to my wireless network; however, it was disconnected from the internet. I found this strange, so I unplugged the printer and when I plugged it back in, was back in business. All in all, this is a decent printer for the price (as seen on the internet), just be aware of the ink costs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good printer, but expensive ink and no 13" x 19" sI bought this printer to replace my OfficeJet 7612, after the print heads got clogged and are not cleanable or replaceable! It's a good printer, and faster and quieter than my old one, but an expensive upgrade just to get clean printheads!Pros: Two-sided scanningSecond paper tray (although it makes the printer very tall! A smaller second tray to accommodate photo paper, envelopes, labels, etc. would have been fine. At least now my wife won't print out emails on my photo paper that I forgot to remove!)Quieter printing- 7612 sounded like a garbage truck!Replaceable Printheads- hopefully this one will last longerPrints fasterCons: No support for 13 x 19 paper that I used for blueprints and postersInk cartridges are double the price of the 7612 cartridges (although they last longer)Confusing display menu

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP 7720I am very happy with this printer. I discovered that it will work with Adobe pagemaker that only runs on Windows XP. It also will run with Microsoft Publisher. I do a lot of pictures and other things this printer does most everything I need. It would have been nice to have in 11 by 17 scanner bed but this one has 8 and 1/2 by 14 and I can make copies of 11 by 17 pictures. It also prints borderless and that's a nice feature as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has design flawsFor a product sold as a large format printer, it really bothers me that the tray is not designed to close all the way when you load 11x17 paper (sticks out three inches; see pic). It's a large, new printer with a fairly sleek design and it just looks sloppy with the tray sticking out. Also, the scanner window is 11x17, but the autofeed only has a max width of 8 1/2 inches. I like the quality and speed of the printer (and have been very satisfied with past hp officejet designs), but it's surprising that hp compromised on these basic design features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent MachineI received this printer as a free sample in exchange for an accurate review. It was easy to set up out of the box and download the app, the instructions make it easy to connect and include some videos as well if you need more help. The printer looks nice but once you touch it, you can tell that the plastic parts just don`t seem up to speed, it appears some quality has dipped on the parts but I guess that is to be expected. The print quality is nice, the larger size of the print paper is also a bonus. It prints quickly for detailed pictures. The screen seems to work well also, not slow, attentive. One thing I know with these types of printers is that the ink becomes very expensive so I would be wary of buying it as a normal use printer as it will cost you. If you are simply printing out pictures with it on occasion that is fine, a normal use machine, I would pick something else, maybe a cheap laser that will last longer. It is a good machine, I like it, just do not know if I can justify paying 100 or more every couple of months to keep ink in it. Not ideal.
