Rated 5 out of 5 by from Avoid This Printer-It Has Problems After updating my Mac OS, my 9 year old Canon Pixma 980 was no long compatible with my computer. Spent time researching which printer would best meet my needs. I liked the idea of the HP Instant Ink, and HP had a great reputation, so I purchased the Envy 7155. Had it set up using the Apple Software, and the trouble began. Said the paper tray was empty, while it was full of paper. Called HP, and was told that I should have set it up with the HP software, so I did. The problem persisted. Every time I would print, the paper tray said out of paper. Kept calling HP, and they deleted the printer, and added it again, and tried other trouble shooting ideas. Nothing worked. Finally I was told that this was a problem with the printer that they knew about. Why would they knowingly sell a printer with problems? It is being returned, and I'm out the money I paid to install the printer. I took out an extended warranty on it, but assume that cost will be refunded. Why would I trust HP with another printer? Their customer service is not the best. Very upsetting with this experience.

At first everything was great, but now the printer only prints some things and at times can take up to an hour to finally print. Also, the ink consumption is unlike any printer i have used. I have had my printer about 2 months and already gone through 2 black and 2 color cartridges (i have printed about 100 pgs). Now it also makes a terrifying noise when pulling paper to print on. I would love this printer if i wasn't paying an arm and a leg on ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this printer! I participated in a market research survey and was sent this printer to review. I was overly impressed when I used it. I was excited about all of the capabilities of this machine, and it did not disappoint. It prints, copies, scans, e-prints, and does photos. From the time I got it out of the box to the first print I printed, setting it up took me less than ten minutes. The set up menu is very clear and easy to understand. It is quieter than previous printers I have owned, and even has a quiet mode feature to make it print more slowly, in turn making it even quieter. It prints quickly, but doesn`t forfeit quality; I didn`t have to wait for my photos to print, and, without changing any settings, the quality of the prints astounded me. The ink cartridges are easy to replace. The only thing I have found I am not impressed by is this printer is this printer is just a bit larger in size than the previous printer I owned, but it is very sleek looking. Overall, I enjoy this printer, and would recommend it to everyone!

The picture quality was outstanding, clear, and vivid colors. I connected my phone to the printer with no problem. I am the happiest person with this printer.

Not the one I bought with it, way too short, had to buy another one.The other printer is just great,but I do not want any more wireless, never. This is a beautiful printer. Need to find out now how to make photos. Geek squad will come in here. Printer is just great for printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, Easy to Use, Convenient The HP ENVY Photo Printer 7155 is a solid product for the home user. IN THE BOX The printer comes securely packaged but is not difficult to open, and features clear pictorial instructions on easy-to-remove stickers, supplemented by a short manual for downloading and installing the software and drivers on several types of computers. I work with both Mac and PC, and find it refreshing that both bases are covered. FORM FACTOR Being an all-in one, this is not a particularly small inkjet printer, but it is lightweight, and still feels sturdy and well-made. The power cord is long enough to run through the back of my computer cabinet, and have plenty of play for the pull-out shelf the printer sits on. Due to the small area in my cabinet, I do have to pull the printer about halfway off the fully-extended shelf to open the lid and access the ink cartidges, which makes me a little nervous, but having done so a few times, the printer still sits solidly balanced. I am impressed by the metal housing for the ink cartridges. It`s a little tough to angle the cartridges into their respective slots, but it`s good not to feel like the supports might break in the process. INSTALLATION This is quite simply the easiest printer I`ve ever set up. It was harder to fish my powerstrip out from behind the cabinet than it was to set up this printer. Since it`s wireless, the power cord, ink cartridges and paper were the only physical installation pieces required. SOFTWARE The app was easy to find and download. It`s a bit slow and clunky to connect and set up, and I wish it didn`t force a decision on whether or not to enroll in HP`s automatic ink replenishment service before I was even able to use the printer. However, once past that small inconvenience, the app is intuitive and robust. I was surprised at all of the options it gives to connect to various sources, such as my phone`s camera, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. In the past, when connecting to a printer from my phone, it has forced me to print everything on photo paper. That is not the case here, as I`m able to print everything from photos to recipes without having to turn my computer on. It even has some nice editing tools available. I found the computer installation slightly confusing, but this is likely because I had previously installed HP software from an older printer, and only needed to download new drivers. PERFORMANCE I did elect to enroll in HP Instant Ink, and am looking forward to the printer`s ability to contact HP and order ink when it needs to, as I find it very frustrating to discover I`m out of ink just when it`s important that I print something right away. In the meantime, the ENVY 7155 performs very well and meets or exceeds most of my expectations. It prints quickly without being too loud. I am able to print from the other end of the house. The pages are clear, even when set to Draft quality. The two-sided print option is a great bonus I wasn`t expecting in a photo printer. I am particularly surprised at how quickly and clearly it does print photos. The colors are not quite as accurate as I might prefer, running a little warm, but were only notably poor in one instance--a photo of someone wearing a neon yellow shirt, where the shirt came out distinctly green. It would, however, be a lot to expect an inkjet printer to render a slightly-shiny neon yellow color accurately, so I am not displeased with the overall performance. All in all, I am very pleased with this printer. It will see a lot of use, and it will be nice to finally have a quick and easy way to get all the pictures of my kids off my phone and into albums and letters to family.

HIP staffer sold me a printer without fax capability like my 7640 had because price was so low. Spoke to another HP sales associate and though I paid more, got the printer with same features (print, copy, scan, fax) AND a removable paper tray in case of jam.. My 7640 had a paper jam, paper tray would not come out. Turned printer over and cleared whatever jammed paper I saw but it would no longer work after that. I bought the HP Envy 7855 and from what the sales associate told me, paper tray is removable so no more worries about hand totally disable g all printer functions permanently.. we sha ll see.

I can't believe that "HPs most versatile printer for the Home" (as stated on the box) does not support what I consider to be a standard U.S. paper size. I'm returning this.printer. Too bad because everything else about this printer was excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unsure We bought this printer about 6 - 7 weeks ago. I find it does not print as fast as I thought it would. It is much slower than my last HP printer. Also I'm not sure if it's me or not but I find that I can not print an 8 x 10 photo. I can print 8 x 10 documents but the biggest photo I can print is 5 x 7. We wouldn't have bought this printer had I know I couldn't print a large photo.

This one works well, but it doesn't give me the option to print different size envelopes like the old one did, but the regular printing is excellent. I think the company would do those of us who create our own greeting cards a big favor by including the versatility of the printer in their description of it, on their website.

The envelope printing function would not work other than eat up the envelopes. After several attempts to correct I let it go. I ordered and receiver HP ENVY Photo 7155 and I'm quite satisfied with all features however, noticed that it did not have a feeder for scanning or copying several copies?? In reviewing the features, I discovered (too late) not having a feeding. At this point, I don't know what can be done however , I thought I mentioned it. the 7155 is fast...

After trying another brand when my 8-9 yr old HP wasn't up to speed anymore, I was determined to go back to HP. My only complaint is there was no manual included (like I was accustomed to with previous one). Because I am not 'tech savvy' I am having trouble with some of the features. Wanted this model to be able to print lots of photos from my digital camera, but it doesn't accept the memory stick from my Sony camera.

Obviously the print quality is not the same as a professional photo lab, but for a quick at home alternative, I was very impressed with the results! The colors are vibrant and images very crisp. The images in no way appear grainy, which I have found to be an issue with other at home photo printers I`ve tried. The setup was simple. I was able to go from unboxing to wirelessly printing a photo from my phone in about 10 minutes. Aside from photos, I`ve found that standard printing is fast and quiet, with a finished product that rivals my laser printer. The digital touch screen is classy looking, and seems very responsive to touch. Overall the printer seems well made, and durable. I definitely recommend this printer to anyone who is in the market for an at home photo printer.

After serching the included paperwork and then exhausting the internet looking for a number to call. They dont have one???? I finally pretended to want to buy one and found a number. Me and a tech gut the problem apparently the firmware they have in it is not updated enough for the cartridges they sent with it. Ive been on the phone over an hour with tech now. And before that was on the phone with a scam company tryingbto get my credit card for a “one time fee”. I asked if they where “HP” and they hung up. Im saddened by this HP product. All my computers are hp and so are all my printers. They will definatly loose business from this problem and the lake of knowing how to handle it!!

Wish it would print in B&W when no ink in color cartridge. Wish they had cleaning cartridge. Could be months between being used.

Sometimes it does not want to accept my hands but will accept others. Could it be heat of my fingers or could my fingers be too dry? I am working to figure out what is wrong with me.

SETUP: The printer was very easy to take out of the box and set up. Blue stickers showed where to remove packaging or where to place cords or ink cartridges. I didn`t even need written instructions because it was so intuitive. Setting up the app on my iPhone was my next step. Once I downloaded the HP Smart App to my phone, there were on screen instructions on both the printer and my phone to guide me through linking my phone to the printer. The best part was it brought me right to my camera roll at the end so I could practice printing. PRINTING: Within 20 minutes of my printer arriving, I had printed out 5 picture of my baby! The printer came with about 5 pieces of photo paper, but did not come with any standard 8x11 paper. We have used a color printer at home before, but I had never tried printing pictures since I figured the quality would not be worth the effort of getting the special paper, adding the pictures to my computer, and formatting them. This was very easy to print right from my phone. In terms of quality, some pictures came out better than others. The color grading was a little off in my more shadowy photos, but it isn`t a bad trade off for being able to get pictures immediately versus using some online printing service. I printed out some Word documents as well and they came out just fine, which is really nothing special because that would be my most basic of expectations for this item. OVERALL: The printer itself is sleek looking and will fit in our home office nicely. I like that the paper and output trays nestle back in for when it is not in use. Overall, I would recommend this printer for at home usage, whether you need to print standard paper or decent quality photos.

But based on features, price and and the fact that no product escapes some bad reviews I took a chance. I set it up and connected to my wifi and phone with no problems despite my computer/network skills being at best average. The print quality is great. I did sign up for the ink program and find it convenient and not the rip-off that was implied in many reviews. They only send you the amount of ink you need. In summary, So far So good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't last 4 print jobs. I purchased an Envy 7155 to replace my previous Envy that only lasted a year. How foolish it was doing so. The new Envy failed within 2 weeks. They sent a refurbished unit to replace it but did not include set up ink cartridges. The old ink cartridges were assigned to the previous printer and cannot be used in this one even though they are almost full. Hopefully, I'll get at least a year out of this. I'll never buy an HP again. My father's Canon is 10 years old and works great....but doesn't have wifi. Good luck.....you will need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complete Bliss...in print Right out of the box, I knew that this HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One printer I received to test for free would be amazing. And man, I was not disappointed. This black matte colored wireless printer is simple and amazing. But I don`t mean simple as in cheezy or cheap. I mean simple as in ergonomic and functional accessibility. It`s all intuitive...all amazing. The set up was very easy and did not take long at all. I downloaded the remote app from the app store in a snap as well as downloaded directly from HP for my laptop`s software upgrade. The sync between the devices was very quick and effortless. Being able to print from your smartphone or tablet is impressive. Using a stored photo I took with my smartphone about a week ago, I simply used the remote app and this amazing printer did the rest. In less than a minute, out came a high gloss photo that most would swear was taken with a physical camera and developed at the local drug store/pharmacy. As for the printing of other paper, the full print job is just as amazing. Quick, effortless and even silent. Yes, silent! There is a quiet mode setting on the intuitive touch screen of the printer. I am overjoyed. And I can say that I was truly not expecting this. But now since I`ve seen the best, I`m done with the rest. Believe me, you will enjoy this printer.

I will call HP to investigate the cost of the replacement of ink because I do not want to pay more for the ink than the printer itself. Expect to hear from me......

Since I lose my phone sometimes, it was convenient to be able to print the pictures right away! The colors are very vivid, like real life. Very crisp and vibrant! Only thing I wish is that it would be a bit smaller... but it is a printer not a laptop! LOL If you want convenience, quality and ease this is recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Took Hours to try to set up wifi and never could I bought this a week ago and it took 4 days of trying to hook it up wifi and I never got that accomplished. First I used the instructions recommended in the packing and Using HP123. It gave me a phone number to call for tech support. I called the number and got someone on the phone who told me me computer was infected and they could sell me a firewall for $300.00, I hung up on them after 40 minutes of their sales pitch. I had to call Best Buy Geek Squad and they could get it accomplished after 2 hours on the phone. Finally I just used the USB hookup. Then I tried to get the ePrint to work and I keep getting a message DNS Gateway Problem. This has been ridiculous and I am very unhappy with the entire thing.

I am a big fan of printing pictues so natually that is the first thing I wanted to try. I set up the software on both my android phone and my home computer in which I use for busness and personal use. When printing directly from my home computer, it prints extremely quick within a matter of seconds. When printing photos from my phone there is a 30 second delay unless you touch "ok" to continue. This feature I am not so much a fan of and I wish it was instantaneous as if it came from my computer. However the quality is one of the best I have ever seen thus far in comparison to previous brand all-in-one printers. I will be looking forward to printing future photos. Great product!

I like the scanner better on this one. The printed pages are clear and easily readable. The screen is not as friendly for use as my former one; but, overall, I like this printer.

Wasn't worth the money I spent on it. It prints double sided but for scanning It doesn't have a feed tray so, you have to stand at the printer and scan one paper at a time. ugh

My current printer is one that does not have photo printing capabilities. Prior to receiving the HP ENVY Photo 7155, my family usually had to visit a photo printing kiosk at a local convenience chain store. The HP ENVY 7155 has been a very welcomed addition to our home office. While we don`t have a ton of office space, we were able to fit the printer in a compartment of our open faced storage unit closest to our desk. The printer is a bit large for my taste but functions great and worth the inconvenience. Assembly: The printer was boxed securely and very easy to remove. After removal, I found loading the printer`s ink cartridges to also be an easy process. After attaching the power cord, I was ready to begin the printer set-up process. In all, the entire process from unboxing to turning the printer on for the first time took 5-6 minutes to complete. Set-up and Use: I was pleasantly surprised to see that a free sample of 4x6 photo paper was included for use. Upon completing the initial printer setup, the printer instantly scanned and identified my home wi-fi handle and prompted me to download the HP ENVY application on my android phone. Upon doing this, I was instantly able to begin printing from my phone. As I have a Windows laptop computer, I was able to download the HP Smart app onto my laptop to begin printing wirelessly. The photos I printed were of great quality. Each process seemed rather seamless and very easy to complete. I can honestly relay that this printer setup by far the easiest I`ve encountered with any printer previously. Problems: If I encountered an issue with this printer, it came with the large size of the unit. I`m usually accustomed to using smaller printers, but all in all the overall optimal function and performance of this printer far outweigh this issue. Another issue I encountered with this printer was the ink-use. I`ve been using this printer sparingly to print 4x6 photos for about 10 days and yet the color ink levels are already alarmingly low. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bad for the money. I bought this a week ago on sale, and saw the price dropped another $20- a week later. No big deal. I printed out a few color pictures. Not too bad. I think my old HP 3520 printed out more vibrant and sharper color pictures. That one had 3 single ink cartridges for each color. I suppose if you run out of just one color on a tri-color cartridge, you would have to buy a whole new cartridge. I tried printing Grayscale and a few of my photos were streaked with diagonal lines. It copied & printed good letter copies. My old HP printer lasted 6 years. I hope this one lasts just as long.

This ENVY Photo 7155 is nothing to be envious about! A far cry from the FABULOUS Photosmart 6520! The photos have an artificial look about them, as though the pixels have been sharpened. But the ZINGER is this printer does NOT print LEGAL-sized paper! The support page shows how you can unlock the "door" on the paper tray - HOWEVER not all 7155 have a "door" on the front of the paper tray. This printer does not and so apparently the printer of another (former) customer, who also gave a 2-star rating, but then returned the printer and purchased from a different company. I am so sorry! I have always been a loyal HP customer. I do not know what I might replace this printer with, if it dies. Oh, sure...INSTANT INK is a great service and a fabulous value. But I have enjoyed the compliments of my printed photos - till now. The price is incredible, but with the lower price came lower quality.

It did take me a bit of time to understand the wireless benefits and think it is great that I can send things from my phone. The colour is very vibrant and I am totally satisfied with this product. I think it is so much better to buy direct from a company even if it costs a little more than you were planning. I have had trouble setting up many things because I use a Mac and the support people straightened it out right away.

Over the years, my husband and I have had HP printers and have always found their products affordable, user friendly and worked well for our printing needs. I would say that as technology has progressed, setting up a printer has become very easy, even for a novice! Usually my husband sets up our printers, but this time I took on the challenge and found it to be super easy. I found the wifi setup to work well with our computer and it was printing within minutes of connecting wirelessly! As I set up the printer at our work station, I found the set up to very clear, easy to understand and really minimal assembly at home. Removed all the plastic film and tape, plugged it in and popped in the ink cartridges. The instructions on my HP Smart App helped in the set up process and the visual instructions on the printer screen were a big help too. The HP ENVY Photo 7155 was super easy to set up and it printed beautifully right from the start. I am a teacher and print off materials at home during the week, articles, pictures, clip art, etc. It printed quickly and it looked great. I appreciated the efficiency as I checked items off of my to do list! I think my favorite feature is the wireless printing ability and the easy to use HP Smart App that I downloaded to my smart phone. In using the HP Smart App, I can print pictures, emails, Facebook photos, documents and more. The App also provides technical support and help, if you need assistance. I found this app easy to use and really helpful to print items as you think of them. My husband also downloaded the App, so he is able to print wireless as well. This is so helpful when we both work from home on occasion. The HP ENVY 7155 has really exceeded my expectations of a home printer, with how easy it is to use, the wireless updates and fantastic quality printing! We are an HP printing family for life!

I really miss the older unit...like me, long toothed and cranky, but it still printed and copied and scanned with cheap refilled cart's and only, occasionally missed the second or third page and said 'Check paper' with it's blinking aged LED eye, like it was accusing me of buying cheap paper too! RIP Old friend! A repair was not in the cards....No longer supported. The NEW UNIT replaced a nice little instructional booklet with a 2" screen which I can't read even with my magnifier ….fortunately some of my Grand Kids are close by and they tell me what to do. It does what my old fried did but does it quicker, with no blinking accusatory flashes and it's very quiet and doesn't grumble when I screw up a request. Welcome, New Friend!

I work from home so I need a reliable printer/copier/ scanner for work documents, etc. This one has exceeded my expeditions with each of he functions. I have yet to try to fax anything but we don`t have a phone line so I`m not sure I`ll ever use that feature. Set up was easy. Instructions were easy to understand. I was a bit worried at first about speed of printing, etc as previous printers I`ve owned seemed to take forever to boot up when you needed to use them and a long time to print a page. This one is quick! In just a few seconds you can have your document or picture printed out and in your hands. The scanner and copier work fast too! I cannot think of any complaints. I hope the ink lasts awhile, since ink refills tend to be expensive, sometimes an inexpensive printer ends up being expensive! I highly recommend this device for anyone who works from home or maybe just wants something at home for a document or photo printed here and there.

As usual I was running late and the convenience of being able to print from home was spectacular. This printer saved the day! Assembly: Pretty easy to setup connection to any device. I needed to setup it up via a wifi network in order to fully setup printer to be functional. Picture Quality: Exceptional prints that resemble professional quality work. The resolution is so refined and realistic images draw you into their illustrated world. Problems: I`m not sure why but it`s not able to print double sided when printing from phone app. Wish this printer actually printed pages much faster.

It is hard to pull it out to replenish paper. You have to lift the printer slightly to pull it out. Also, one of the two small plastic pieces that hold the cover on (the cover that lifts to place documents on the glass) came in broken. I needed the printer so I did not return it - so tape it is. Too bad. New printer. But it does a great job on copying and printing, I especially like the e-print feature.

If you turn on the printer and install the set-up ink cartridges before you go through the software set-up process you will not be able to finish the set-up without spending at least an hour on the phone with tech support while they install separate software and firmware in order to correct the issue. Tech support told me that if I didn't have a USB cable to connect the printer directly to the computer and allow a remote session then the best option would be to return the printer to the store and simply get a new printer. If this is such a critical step then I would recommend that HP places a huge sticker over the ink cartridge location warning customers NOT to install the set-up cartridge until prompted during the software set-up process.

It does have a quirk that caused me to waste a couple of hours before I figured it out. When I printed using regular paper, all worked well except that I kept getting an alert that I was out of paper. Of course I wasn't, the printing proceeded, but I kept getting that annoying alert. After resets, reloading the program, etc., it finally dawned on me that while I had the regular paper tray filled, since I was printing to regular paper, the photo paper tray was empty (since I wasn't printing photos). Once I placed the photo paper sample (received with the printer) into the photo paper tray, printing of regular paper proceeded without the "out of paper" alert. Looks like you have to keep something in both trays, even though you are only printing to regular paper. Seems like an odd way to arrange the alert, but now that I have figured it out, all is well.

I thought they were starter cartridges so I went and bought new cartridges. Almost $100 for one black cartridge and one tricolor cartridge I was able to print about 40 pages before the ink was completely empty, by page 30 words were almost unreadable because of low ink, so I really got about 25 decently printed pages. Now looking at buying cartridges but for the cost of cartridges I could buy a printer that is not a ink guzzler. I will avoid HP products from now on.

Only thing is I wish I would have realized there's a size limit on the paper you can print on. I like to print big spreadsheets on 8.5'' x 14'' paper. But that's my fault for not reading the description more carefully.

I am mostly technically challenged when it comes to anything other than my phone or working on a computer. I leave setting up electronics to my husband who works in IT. Eleven tears with the #6250 was good. So,I went with HP again, this time with HP ENVY photo 7155. This unit has one black and one tricolor ink cartridge. My old unit had one black and five separate color cartridges. I have printed quite a few gloss pictures, using Canon paper and they are fine. I use the printer mostly for printing excel data and household budget information. The printing is sharp. I use 24# ultra white paper. I opted out of the automatic ink refill program. I order when I run low. I keep one replacement cartridge on hand. I bought the printer from HP direct on line and When I order ink it will also come from HP online. Free shipping.

I tried with several HP techs over the phone to turn it off but was finally told that it was not possible to shut off the radiation. I am hyper-sensitive to devices with radiation and have a meter that measures RF. The radiation continued to be emitted from the printer, even tho the blue light that indicates wifi was off. I wish HP would provide printers that can actually turn off the radiation.

First I downloaded the app for my Android phone and went ahead and setup the printer with WIFI, then after that I added the ink. The whole process took few minutes and ran without any hiccups. I tried a few tests with printing regular A4 documents as well some photos the quality exceeded my expectations. Another big plus for me since I live in a tiny space is the size of the printer which is medium in size given all the functionalities. I highly recommend this HP printer 7155 since it`s very versatile, I can print from my laptop or my phone and the quality of the prints are quite astonishing.

My older printer has stopped working months ago, so I was excited to set this up and start printing again. The box was packed well and everything that I needed to start printing was included. ASSEMBLY - I unpacked the printer and everything it came with. I then read the instructions and started assembling the product. This process seemed like it took an average amount of time and was easy from start to finish. The manual was very informative and everything went smoothly. PRINTING - I printed my first page through my phone (air print) and it was easy and went without a glitch. I then printed from my computer and it also went smoothly. I noticed that with my older printer that it would have issues with grabbing different types of paper and the HP envy did not have this issue. The printing process went without any problems. PHOTO QUALITY - The photos that I printed looked very good and I printed them on different types of paper. I have framed some of the photos that I printed and people have told me that the print looks professional. I have no issues with the prints. AESTHETICS - I think the printer looks sleek and solid and I love the all black finish. The screen is nice and bright and easy to read. I have no issues in this area. FINAL NOTE - I had a very positive experience with this printer and would buy this brand in the future. I wish I had some negative feedback to give so I can help improve this device but overall this is a neat little printer with good mechanics and there`s nothing to complain about.

I do a lot of photos so I am a little disappointed that there aren't more features/adjustments when printing photos. Light vs dark, especially. Changing colors is quick and easy.

The copier is compact as to not take up too much space but held a lot of photo paper. It has a sturdy frame. I found this out when my dog knocked it over and there were no damages to the copier. It can print different size photos with the same clarity of a photo shop. I`ve used other photo printers and have never seen a copier with the same quality photos as this HP Envy. It has more than met my expectations in quality. The photo paper is a little pricey but that is not a reflect on the printer. Overall, I would give this a 5 star rating. It performs better than any printer I`ve ever used. Its sleek, compact design looks good in my home. The assembly and instructions are easy to read. The pictures are clear and colorful. I would recommend this product to anyone.

The problem has not been solved with the new printer. get an error code 0x8007007e. I have tried all the suggestions that windows gives me and run the programs and can print a page from the program but not from my computer sources.

The initial set up was a bit confusing since the language was in French when I turned it on and it took a bit of research and luck to get it back to English and change the country from Canada to America. After that I tested the sample photo paper sent free with printer and it printed a nice picture ":wireless" and was nice and easy. Then next day I go to print another picture from the free glossy 4x6 and had problem with print tray default to letter instead of photo tray. Discovered that if I set the parameters to auto select it will go to photo and not letter. I figure practice makes perfect and I'm still in learning mode. I love the wireless feature with phone and computer printing. Thank you.

It was very easy to assemble but a bit difficult to figure out the operations. It definitely was not self explanatory and took a bit of trouble shooting. Once i figured out how to connect the printer to Wi-Fi and then my device to the printer in order to print from my device is was quite easy and convenient. The print quality is good and i like the fact that i can access apps such as my drop box and Google drive directly from the printer eliminating and other device usage.

I was going to replace my HP Envy Photo 7155 with another one because of a grinding noise it would make while printing. Thinking it was just a problem with my printer I purchased another one. Upon setting up the new printer and trying to print I got the same grinding noise. I returned the printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Print, copy quality is great ! I bought this printer a month ago and I love it. The quality of the copies, scans and print jobs is far superior to my old HP Envy. What I love even more is the great wireless connectivity and speed of printing. I had some issues with my old HP ENVY 100 when it went into sleep mode. No such issues with this printer! Only one downside - it was bigger than my old printer, and larger than I expected. So I can't fit it in my credenza. BUT - good news! The wifi signal is so strong - I can hide the printer in another room and no issues printing! It appears the quality of the HP printers really has improved vastly over the last 8 years since I bought a printer. Plus - I had a wonderful experience with Customer service - who let me send in my old unused print cartridges and sent me new ones for the new printer !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP ENVY Photo 7155 My overall impression of this printer is favorable. Set up took under 30 minutes, including software installation and connecting through my wifi network and the HP printing app to my laptop and smartphone. The instructions were clear and easy enough for even my occasionally technologically-challenged self to follow. It`s important to follow the touchscreen instructions exactly in order, and to make sure you download all the attendant software and applications or you won`t be able to take advantage of all the different features. I was happy that I was able to use an SD card and USB cable to save and access items from my phone, tablet, and both laptops. The fact that this is an all-in-one copy-scan-print-fax machine is extremely useful and allowed me to get rid of my old, bulky fax machine and scanner-copier, all of which I need for my work from home job. Being able to print photos is a great bonus. The print quality is great. Items print quickly, the colors are very vibrant and I haven`t had any issues with paper jams or similar snafus because I follow the instructions carefully. The large LCD touchscreen is easy to read, easy to navigate, and is very responsive to my touch in comparison with my previous printer touchscreen, which I had to practically punch to get it to register. My only issue thus far is that the colored ink seems to be fading on the last couple photos I printed. I`ve printed a large number of them already, but it seems a little soon for that ink to be running out. I`ll have to wait and see what happens there and how costly it is to replace the cartridges, although with the Instant Ink option it won`t be an inconvenience. I am pleased with this printer. I give it an eight out of ten.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst photo printer ever! When my HP Photosmart all-in-one printer (which I loved) died, I searched for another that would print my pictures well. I have tried every setting with different HP photo papers and nothing works. The pictures are always overloaded with ink, even if I try printing them on draft instead of best or normal! Wish I had returned it when I had the chance. It prints fine with document printing.

The first one couldn't be fixed so you sent me a replacement. The both printed one copy then quit. I'll call tomorrow, but your tech dept. can't help me, I'm returning both printers for a full refund and I'll buy locally. BTW, my old printer, which is an HP, still prints.

Had to make calls to HP support to get scan part of HP Smart to work correctly. Like wireless operation even from my Smart Phone for printing pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use a Photo Printing Service Instead I bought this Printer so I could print out photos and occasionally documents and not have to use a print service like Office Depot or CVS. Unfortunately, while it prints out documents fairly well, it absolutely guzzles ink to print out photos and the photo paper tray doesn't actually work (and the main tray has an option for 4x6 photos but won't actually detect the paper being there. If you plan to print loads of photos, I recommend getting something with a lower cost of print and more options than just 8.5x11. If you plan to print the occasional photo, stick to a print service. It will save you money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! This printer is so awesome. You set it up right from an app on your phone, no need to type in the little pad on the printer. Found WiFi automatically. Printing through the app is awesome, you can choose paper tray and size and print from your camera roll, Facebook, or Instagram. WiFi stays connected all the time so we can print at any time from anywhere in the house. You can send scans right to your email. The ink refill service seems like a great deal too! I am very impressed with this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, and Fast! I got thew new HP ENVY Photo 7155, and I think it`s a fantastic All-In-One. There`s some pros and cons, however the pros outweigh all the cons. Storage and Aesthetics: I have a small apartment, so space is everything to me. The printer, while compact, isn`t the most geometric. It`s a bit oddly shaped, but that`s not to takeaway from the actual functions of it. I do like that it`s black, and sleek. Performance: I`m a photographer, so speed and color are important. It printed a 4x6 full color hi-res picture in FINE in about a minute or less. It was pretty incredible. I will say I wish that the ink cartridges were a little bit bigger. They`re on the small side, however I`m not sure what that means as far as ink replacement goes, but we`ll cross that bridge when we get there. It`s also really fast, document wise for an inkjet. I was impressed. It copies and scans everything just fine, no complaints there. Overall, I think it was great and outside of the minor things I`m pretty pleased.

I practically have to to pick up whole printer to open tray, and I cannot see how much paper is in tray without tipping up printer and opening paper tray using the finger notch in the center bottom of tray. Quite exasperating. Visibility and access is very troublesome. Perhaps i do not understand how to do it !!

My old printer was just not cutting it. The quality of the pictures from the HP ENVY Photo 7155 is amazing. They are so clear and bright that you would think you go them from a photo shop. I have totally fallen in love with this printer. From the basic prints to photos. The set up if this printer was super easy. It works off of Wi-Fi, which is great because you can literally printer photos and documents from your phone. Again absolutely love this printer and it`s capabilities.

It looks simple but it is not easy to operate. Quality of printing is ok but not exciting. I’m sorry I purchased it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Regress, not progress Poor quality scanning, the software is complicated and primitive, the scanner menu doesn't show automatically on the computer screen.The printer doesn't read older memory cards.Memory card slot is difficult to access.Printing photos is slow and quality is average.Overall design is bulky, the printer only comes in black ( to show dust or perhaps it is some macho thing).It is so ugly that I want to hide it. the copier is OK, I'm not impressed.HP , like every other company is obsessed with wireless printing , neglecting aspects of quality and convenience, and aesthetics. Not what I understand as MODERN. My old Photosmart was much better, unfortunately it died after many years of service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review of the HP ENVY Photo 7155 Printer I received a free sample of the printer to use and post a review. In comparison to other similar photo printers I thought it was average. It was easy to set up using the instruction manual. However, when it came to setting up the phone app, that was a headache cause this printer is not listed as one of the available ones on the app and therefore I was not able to use the phone app. So the only way to print the photos was just to email them using the special printer email. In terms of the quality of the photos, it was store quality (obviously using the special photo paper). The speed of the printer was pretty decent. The colors are vibrant and appealing. For someone that takes and prints a few to many pictures and then pays to have them developed at your local wholesale store, this is a much better option. You can print at your home and also have the ink conveniently delivered to your home. One caution when emailing your pictures to print: Don`t have any writing in your email, cause the printer will print the photo and then separately print on the regular paper whatever writing was on your email (For example your automatic email signature or the name of your email provider). I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Then it took her a half hour to set it up and wasted more than half an ink cartridge. Now the printer is ridiculously slow and the button pad is often unresponsive.

The initial printer was a bit difficult at first because the setup was completed through your phone app. It prints nice pictures but still doesn`t give you that professional touch. The pictures were printed from the Samsung galaxy s8 plus. The images looked sharper on the phone than what the printer produced. The pictures looked good but it could be better enhanced to give a professional finish.

I had a lot of trouble connecting with my username/password. Also it was much to difficult to contact your tech support organization by phone.

Found out that the ink that came with the printer is printer specific or so we thought. The first printer did not print color. So we opened up the second printer and neither the black ink nor color cartridge worked. We ordered more color ink believing that was the problem (possibly the color in that came with the printers was dry). By the time we ordered color ink and tried it on both printers it had been too late to try to return the printers. So we have two printers that print black. So we will use them as is for our documents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality printer overall, easy to use. I received a free HP ENVY Photo printer to submit a review. Overall, I thought this printer had more pluses than minuses. I thought it had sharp looks and fit well on my desk. The ease of setup was a plus along with the HP Smart app on my phone made printing pictures and pages very intuitive and easy to figure out. I`m able to print my Facebook photos, Iphone photos, scan to an email as well as print out normal documents, all from my phone or computer. The printer also picked up my wireless connection even though it was far away from the router. Quality wise, I thought the printed photos were a B/B in quality, where as when I`ve went to CVS to professional print photos for 25 cents each, the quality has been a little sharper, A/A range. I moved the HP printer setting to "Best" quality, but it still wasn`t quite as sharp as getting photos printed at a store. Printing documents though was straight forward and it printed quickly and had good sharpness on the page. One other negative I noticed was the color ink cartridge fullness scale on the app, which was a cool feature, seemed to drop rapidly after a few color printed photos. It said the cartridge went from full to about 80 percent full, after only 3 printed photos. It mades me wonder how long the color ink cartridge will last and how often I will have to replace it.

I have owned a few HP printers over the years, but this will be my last! product quality has consistently gotten worse with each successive printer, and ink prices go sky high... don't bother buying ink, just buy a new printer...its cheaper! I bought a Norton Core router some time afterward; again, easy to connect the printer to that. Prints beautiful photos and I don't have to change paper width settings for it--there's an extra tray just for photo paper. Letting it auto-order toner is pretty cool, too. Very pleased with this printer!

I'm quite happy with the printing, including photos, but have encountered two problems. Problem 1 is that the printer frequently misfeeds 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Sometimes, it simply is a second piece of paper that it shoved through but sometimes it's a split page print. Hoping that this will stop but couldn't find any help on the website. Problem 2 relates to scanning. While it's done a good job scanning, the only way to initiate a scan is from an attached computer. The controls on the control panel fail to access an attached computer. Any help with either of these issues?

All that shows is the ink levels. I don't see a need for this, other than it's annoying.It keeps chiming and opening the window about every 15 seconds.

I bought this a few weeks ago because I needed something new from which I could easily connect my different computers, and especially my mobile devices! The last printer I had was a Canon MG photo printer and it was okay, but just not great for everyday printing, and especially not great when it came to mobile printing, as it did not have any options for it at all. Setup was extremely fast and simple. It connected to my Win10 and OSX computers easily, and my iPhone, iPad, and Google Pixel all picked up the printer immediately through their native print features so I am now able to print from each device without installing any extra apps. There is an app from HP, but it looks like you only need that if you want to be able to print to your printer when you are outside of your home somewhere else. Like if you wanted to print a recipe, or a receipt, while you were out at the store then I think you can use the HP app to do that. I wasn't required to sign up or commit to any of the packages with the HP Instant Ink stuff so that was especially great. I really don't know how much I am going to print, or when, but I know I don't want to pay a monthly fee for something I may or may not be doing. I'd rather run out to Best Buy or OfficeMax whenever my ink gets low and just deal with it that way. Several other people had complained about having to sign up for it without any other option to continue install, but I didn't have that problem at all.

Several times now I have needed to power down the modem and reconnect it again in order to use this printer. I was every satisfied with the Photosmart I had been using for many years previous to this HP and regret that I gave it up.

In printing picture and using HP Plus paper. The quality is terrible and whats with the shine and dull look to the picture? The 2530 was a low end printer and this picture I printed a better looking picture.

The second one is working fine after three hours on the phone with tech support and instant ink people. What should have been an “easy start” was anything but. The printer itself is easy to use and does what it is designed to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like this printer! I received the HP Envy Photo 7155 in exchange for this review. The Envy 7155 is overall a really good printer. I was able to print a large amount of highly colored flyers and photos with the cartridges that came with it. I expected to run out ink much sooner than zi actually did. The pages printed quickly with no smudges in the ink. The quality of the photos were excellent. Several of the photos were taken from an old smart phone 10 years ago before the cameras became what they are today. The quality was great considering the source of the photos. The touchscreen on this printer could be a little more responsive but overall, I still prefer this printer in comparison to the one I purchased about six months ago. Im really excited about the smart ink feature that allows HP to send you refill ink for a very small monthly fees versus paying full price for cartridges. I would recommend this printer to friend, family and anyone reading this review.

Recently I had to copy a document on legal size & went to a local bank. Also, the printer was initially shipped to the wrong state & I paid $66.99 to have it shipped from California to Louisiana.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic All-In-One I participated in a market research study and received this product to evaluate during a designated time period; however, it is still going and going and going! To put it plainly: I love this printer! Its incredibly compact size doesn`t do justice in exclaiming how great the functions of the printer actually are. My favorite feature is the print-from-app capability. Also, printing from your favorite social media app is a breeze and very encouraged. If a friend is over, I can ask them what their favorite photo is, share the PIN number and voila! They can have a print of their photo within seconds. The product is easy to set up from start to finish. You can make it as easy or as complex as you`d like. I`m more of a techie so I spent extra time within the app and studying the buttons on the machine; however, it is absolutely not necessary to do so. It`s plug, connect (connects automatically through your home`s wireless network), download, and play. It`s really that simple. It`s far and away better quality than the previous printer I had. It seems durable and I`m going to take it to task because it`s just so fun! It exceeds any expectation I had for a wireless photo printer; the quality can`t be beat. Overall, I love my printer and I`ve told 5 or 6 friends that they must come over to see it/use it. I trust they will all get their own very soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer! Great price! The HP ENVY 7155 has amazing features that are not listed here. It prints on cardstock paper!! It prints on mailing labels and other heavier paper. It makes a mechanical sound when I place heavier paper in, and I think it has a "brain" that automatically detects other paper beside the standard copy paper. -- It also is soooo easy to hook up to Windows 10--a breeze. I am very happy with this printer, so far. I didn't want to spend a lot, and this is the one that doesn't cost too much. GOOD BUY for the money.

I paid more than usual for this type of product but I believe the quality is ther and I will be able to use it for several years. The only disadvantage to the printer is that it takes a long time between my pushing the "print" buttom until the product is delivered. It seems this printer goes through several seconds of 'thinking" until it starts to move.

When I spoke to customer service they explained the part was expensive and with the age, no guarantee it would work. They recommended a few, but this was their first recommendation based on our needs. Unfortunately due to everyone working from home they were out of stock! Luckily a week later they had them, I ordered and it only took two days to get it. Great price, smaller ink cartridges and it was super easy to setup. It’s quiet, copies easily and prints photos beautifully.

Everything worked fine and pretty much as it should the first day I got it and setup it all up. I printed off several photos on photo paper. Both 8x10 and 4x6 came out flawless. The next night after it hadn't been used I tried to print a collage from pictures place on the scanner and it wouldn't recognize that it has paper in the main tray.

I especially like the photo features. I haven't printed photos from a printer in a long time and this gives me every incentive to start again.

I won't lie when I say I was worried about having to set up my printer, but after installing the app on my phone, and going to the website on my laptop, it literally walked me through each step, and was so easy. When printing the options are easy to choose, and I love the fact I can choose if I want to print in only black, or color. It also prints amazing photos. I love it!!

It has a separate tray to print photos and I think that's awesome. I'm really happy with it. It prints faster too. I have it on WiFi and not plugged into my lap top. It's a lot easier that way. The connection between the two is strong and things are printed immediately.

First it has two trays, one for paper and the other for 4X6 cards or photo paper! Second, the tray area is enclosed in a drawer so the paper says nice and clean. Set up was very easy, as well! So far, so good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FEED MECHANISM - WHILE NEW IT DOES NOT WORK WELL The printer HP ENVY 7155 will not feed envelope for addressing - the prompt says "Out of paper" the paper tray is loaded and I try the envelope address on plain paper not an envelope and the prompt still comes up "Out of paper" I finally got the printer to print on 8 1/2 X 11 paper. Very disappointed in the NEW HP ENVY Photo 7155 performance! Not the HP way.

The Printer I had bought had the printhead(s) internal instead of on the cartridge and clogged to the extent that I could no longer use it. After some research I found a list of models that had the 2 cartridge system an bought my 7155. I am now back to being totally pleased with my printer.

I went to the site as was instructed and it continually said it could not find my printer although I had it hooked up as the instructions said to do. Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is by far the WORST HP printer I have bought I purchased this printer over a month ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. It only prints from remote when I feels like it. After just a few poor printouts the ink ran out already . I have to wait up to and hour for a project to print then it is either a poor print or is full of black in marks. I am so disappointed with this printer it is hard to tell you all the problems I am having. My previous HP printer was an 8500 series and never gave me any problems. When I sent something to the printer I had it before I had a chance to take a sip of my Coffee. One other problem, when I do get a good print is after about 30 to 60 minutes before I get a printed copy.

I expected to do the same with the 7155, but it can't accommodate this size note card. If I want to make a card, I have to make 2 of them at the same time on card stock 8 1/2' x 11". This is a huge negative.

Since then, the printer doesn't recognize our network and vice versa. My daughter has to unplug the printer, wait, and then plug it back in in order to be able to print a page or two. My laptop and iPad won't connect, and i can't print. What is the point? A waste of money.

Finally got scanning to work only with one long phone call with a good support person. HP's setup docs and procedures need big change. No way that an 85-year old (me) can get through your Byzantine approach to getting your products to work. I also just bought an HP Chromebook, have an old HP PC, but mostly rely on an older iMac. Been in the computer business since 1962 (UNIVAC). Can't say that any of your newer products could earn any ease-of-use accolades easier than those of more than a half-century ago.

I went on line to HP and chatted with 2 different people (Raquel & Gia). I wanted something similar and they recommended the HP Envy 7155. So far ( I have only had it a month) it has printed well. I have not tried to copy, scan or do photo's yet. If it continues as it has I will be pleased.

I was able to make the wifi work which I could never do on my previous 6250. But.. after successfully printing on the 7155 a few times, the "printer could not be located" for about one hour and then suddenly printed my document. What's up with that?

The personal who "in theory who are getting paid to help you install the software" are a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!! Two of them just hung up on me - I kept waiting for assistance - when the phone told to hang up and try again. The individual on line at least did his best to help me, but there were other issues involved. I WASTED THREE WEEKS OF MY LIFE ATTEMPTING TO DOWNLOAD THE INFORMATION TO USE MY NEW AND WORTHLESS "WITHOUT THE SOFTWARE" PRINTER. bY SHEAR DUMB LUCK, I PERSONALLY WITHOUT ANY HELP - INSTALLED THE SOFTWARE -FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other than these slight setbacks, the printer does a fine job.

Put a new ink cartridge in yesterday and it's printing yellow. Keeps saying low on ink and paper when it is not. For the price one should not have all these issues right from the start. Very upset...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good printer We bought this printer for $150 just over a year ago (Feb '19) for my grandpa for his birthday, so that we could get in the instant ink program. We really like the program and the printer but broke the first week of May of this year ('20). But HP wouldnt do anything to replace or help me out since I paid a chunk just barely over a year ago. But my grandpa needed a printer and we really liked this one so I bought him another one. Heres hoping the last one was a fluke break considering we dropped another $116 on the new one. But it does print nice, fast, never had issues with jamming or anything like that. Scanned pics fast and with good quality. And we liked the wifi print option from the phone. Not that we actually ever used it but it was nice to have anyways :) So good printer, just a little disappointed in HP for not helping me with the situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great HP envy 7155 All-in-One Printer I purchased this through the original HP Website and it was received very quickly within a few days and set it up immediately after opening and taking it out of the box. It was very fast and easy simple enough for even the non tech person to set up. Follow the instructions and your good to go. I used it within an hour afterwards and needed to print off copies of all my documents and it worked great. After the last document copied and finished I suddenly get this error telling me to remove the colored ink cartridges and replace it back again which I by the way never used the colored ink cartridge so it was defective, so I did and nothing worked, I still received the invalid message so then I went online and read all of the trouble shooting instructions and did what it said and I still had the trouble, I finally called the HP company and they were quick to fix it. They sent me a new colored ink cartridge and I replaced the old one with the new and Tada! It worked! Thanks to the HP people my printer works fabulous!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Happy!! I ordered a HP printer online. The printer I received was defective. Called customer support, waited 30 minutes on hold. Did an exchange on Friday and sent my printer back. Was told my new printer would ship out Monday - it did not. Called customer support again, waited 45 minutes on hold. Was told by someone in the "Philippines" that the new printer would not ship out until defective printer was received back at HP. It is now Thursday and I still haven't received an email that my new printer has been shipped out to me. No printer for almost 3 weeks!! I should not be the one inconvenienced. The purchase was easy but the delivery is substandard! Not a good experience.

So far this one is working fine. The only thing I do not like is the amount of paper it holds. Not enough for what I do. I realize if photo was the main reason for it, the printer would be great. Otherwise, so far, it is good.

Easy to use, crystal clear and smooth as silk, no muss-- no fuss printing, scanning , and various Photo sizes. And other than a couple of hiccups during setup (the "human" instructions could be clearer), the Setup via the Hp.123 link is automatic & Operation via the HP Smart app is a Dream!

I wanted to try printing a photo to see how well it would turn out & I was not disappointed. It printed a photo that was even better than the copy on the SD card.

Would print only part of the page with fuzzy lines or no print at all. Thought I had some bad ink so replaced it, worked ok for a few copies and then back to the same issues. Followed all suggestions, cleaned cartridges, align cartridges, etc, just made it worse. Don't know if I want another HP printer. Of course, by the time I knew I needed a different one that I could depend on, the warranty was up by one month, oh well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Agrivated in Michigan I just purchased a Envy 7155 and two questions I asked BEFORE I agreed to purchase it was 1) has this printer been discontinued and 2) is it compatible with my Mac OS v. 10.12.3. I was told it had not been discontinued and it would definitely would work with my macbook. I had difficulties installing so called hp support and found out it had been discontinued and when we tried again to install I received a message that it was not compatible. Wow! I used to work for HP a long time ago and I can tell you that would never have happened then. Thank God for the service rep I was lucky enough to talk with. He was great! I also specifically asked the sales woman if the yellow ink goes out will I be able to print a black and white document. She said yes. We'll see how that goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Service with a "SMILE"! HP printer of 9 years would not print. A serious call for HELP reached an HP person in the HP printer of 9 years would not print. A serious call for HELP reached an HP person in the Phillapiens who quickly undertook the "opportunity" and suggested a possible remedy/fix. No surprise - the "fix" did not FIX ... and a NEW HP PRINTER was, of course, the answer. The new printer arrived in just a couple days and was pretty easy to install and get operational. Always facinating - the INK cost is more that the cost of the printer ... and ink must be bought several times a year for many years. So - problem solved by an employee that was focused on results for me.

I did not sign up for Instant Ink since I don’t print much but I still have the Key if I choose to enroll later. It’s everything you need in a printer and stylish to boot.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, tried googling why I can not get it print. I have gotten no answers. So this one will go in the trash and I will have to do research for another wireless printer. Need to use setup cartridges that aren't recognized by printer. Tech support was over 40 min wait. Unbelievable complicated setup, never had this experience with past HP products. Junk

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just OK Setup was confusing. The printer kept asking for the install cartridges which I had no idea they were hidden in the packing of the printer box. I thought they were the cartridges that HP sold me to go along with the printer purchase. Once I figured that out (2 days later), I printed two colored 8x10 posters for my office. First one printed beautifully, second was streaky and off color. I waited a few hours and tried again and then the second one printed fine. I should be able to make several color copies in a row and have them true color. If this is how this printer works, I am greatly disappointed!

I order THIS printer on December 23rd at about 5:00 PM. It came the NEXT day; actually within 22 hours from when I ordered it. Installation was pretty easy. Have not had a chance to really use it yet; just set it up the other day.

I can print from my phone, but not from a computer, unless I only print a .pdf with the HP Smart app, which only works some of the time. I have to completely shut down the app and re-start every time I want to print a new document. I've tried to update the software, but it errors out and tells me the printer isn't connected to the network--even though I know it is. Support, which I pay for, is useless. It's impossible to get to a human being. I've had the printer just over a year, and for half of that, it's been more hassle than it's worth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Printer I purchased this printer when my Former HP D110a gave up the ghost. Mind you I've been an HP customer for years, so HP is my GO-TO for everything office!! It was delivered in two days and though I have physical limitations, I was able to place it in my office space, because it was not too heavy. And I put it to work immediately!!! And the Instant Ink program is new to me. I purchased the printer AND purchased 2 ink cartridges, so was shocked to find more ink in my mailbox, which I didn't expect. I believe I will be printing for quite awhile. Thank you HP!!!

It makes nice, clear copies, and it's pretty fast. I've copied from my computer and from documents placed on the glass screen. Both are easy.

The ENVY colors do print as the colors of the picture we are printing from. Purple colors end up dark and blueish. Not good in the eyes of the artist (my wife) who depends on the colors to be true for advertising purposes.

We liked the features with this new printer and the fact that it referenced photos. However, we were very surprised to find out that it does not support 8.5" x 14" (legal) paper. I print a lot of spreadsheets so this is important to me. Fortunately, HP customer service worked with us and we were able to exchange for a HP Envy 5055 which does support legal paper.

I'm very surprised the printer was shipped inside of its regular box. It should have been packed inside another box to protect it. I tried calling over the weekend but their returns/exchange department was closed. Then I called yesterday, I was on hold for 45 minutes before I had to give up and go to work. Then of course when I tried calling after work, they were closed again. Really needed this printer for school which started this week. I'm so frustrated.

Received error message each time that said the install could not be completed. So I tried it on Mac Book air no luck. Repeated retries. Have no idea what the issue was. Returned it for a refund.

This new printer is so fast when I had to printout 20 of the same single page document that my jaw dropped. Do not hesitate to buy for your home, I am going to try scanning today and will order some photo paper too! HP has fast delivery and there is a ink program that monitors the levels and sends it out automatically.

My previous HP printer stop recognizing the black printer cartrige holder position. After I spent close to $100 in replacement color and black catriges, it wast time to retire that printer.

Customer service could not help me and it's wasting 2 or 3 pieces of paper per day as it prints on its own. Time to throw it in the trash and go with another brand.

I had a refurbished version of this printer but it wasn't up to date with the new upgrades on my computer so I purchased a new one. It came but refused to work. The agent then sent me a replacement, but it has a sticker on it of being reconditioned. I paid for a new one, I didn't appreciate getting a used reconditioned one.. To top it off it doesn't work all the way either, the automatic paper holder that opens when printing won't open. So two in row the were faulty when I got them. The offered a third one but i have spent so much time on the phone already I told them I would open the paper shoot part by hand. Once I get over the irritation of the past two tires I may still opt for another one. I like them when they work, but for some reason the quality control is not what it should be.

I'm sure after I get used to not seeing how much paper is in the tray like I could with my old one, I will be ok. After the receiving tray is very short and it's going to be interesting if my printed pages stay in place. If they do, I will update this review. This is the first printer I bought on line through an agent and it might be my last one.

It works great with Design Space and the print then cut feature. It's quick, great colors, easy set-up, and very user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Familiar Design The printer has all the familiar features that my old HP printer (ENVY 7640) had. I love that it still has a photo tray aside from the main tray. The touch screen on this model does not react to my touch like the old one did though--a bit bothersome. Installing this new one was very painful using the new HP Smart app; it wouldn't install the hardware update even though it said it was installing it. I had to run the HP Print and Scan Doctor to tell me that it wasn't installed and to fix that problem. I should have manually set it up using the touch screen instead, since that worked so much more smoothly when I installed my old printer. It would also be nice to be able to have the printer automatically switch between both of my wireless networks, i.e. the 2.4 GHz wireless network and the 5 GHz, when a device from one of the networks wants to print. Right now we have to switch each device from the 5 GHz network to the 2.4 when we want to print because the 5 GHz network kicks off the new printer sometimes, so I have to have the printer only on the 2.4 network. This is NO fault of HP, just Comcast; it would just be nice to be able to have both frequencies recognized by the printer at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from once again huge useless software download Printer finally works fine after fiddling with software for 3 or 4 hours, except not scanner on main machine, yet. Quality of print is excellent, especially photographs, once I figured out that I had to reduce the size of the jpg to about 10% of the resolution my camera produces. Otherwise goes to perpetual "spooling" mode while locking up the machine. Still haven't figured out mystery messages. Have to fiddle each time I test scan function, then get message the next day that the scan is not available. Similar to my previous HP printer - sorta works great, fortunate to have nearly unlimited storage capacity on my desktop, learn to cancel out constant dunning to buy HP, kinda like this "opportunity" to tell you how much I like HP.

This new one is just as functional but so much smaller and lighter. I don’t use it for photos or faxing. It does all that I need very well. Setup was easy.

But unfortunately it did not come with any toner whatsoever so I’m unable to even use it after having a whole week now. I’ve gone everywhere to find some ink cartridges but with no luck. I had to order some online and it won’t be here for another week

The new phone installation app did not work for me. Fortunately HP kept the previous router installation which worked quite well.

I have had HP printers for several years, so the high quality and dependability is "normal" for me, and just as I expected this new machine would be. I have but one suggestion: I do not like the manner in which the printed sheet comes out of the printer, with no built in tray to catch it, and the way it sort of tumbles out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to use. It is hard to get the screen to change. I touch an icon and it takes a long time to get the screen to move. I had to contact a representative at your company to find out if I could use a photo to do a reprint of it. I did finally figure out how it works, but there is on way to set the paper size or change the brightness like I can on the HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One which I only have had for two years and has started messing up. It will not print parts of the letters, top or bottom. I paid $149.99 for it. The representative gave me the name of another Photo printer the HP Photo 7855 All-in-One (K7R96A#B1H), but she said it cost over $200 and I don't feel I can afford to pay that kind of money for a printer that is only going to last a couple years.

I talked to the rep and told him what I wanted and he suggested this model: HP ENVY PHOTO model 7155. It prints in beautiful crispness and color. So far I have just used glossy photo paper (included) love it, love it, love it. Signed up for automatic ink delivery from HP, already delivered ahead of need. Great feature for people that don’t want to go to look for printer ink in the middle of the night. Wireless scanning, faxing, printing and much more right from my phone. Less than $200. Just perfect!

The downside is loading paper requires you remove the paper catcher above it each time. It seemed initially to have trouble detecting the paper and kept asking me to put paper in, hopefully this resolves and isn’t ongoing.

I had trouble setting it up using wi-fi so I resorted to the USB cable. I am old-school and rely on old methods LOL. The printer is great but not particularly outstanding. It is good for what I want it to do. I am still learning how to use its other functions. So far I like it. I have always owned HP printers. They seem to work well and last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problem since Day 1 I have only ever used this printer to print WORD documents and PDF's, and I do not print very often or in large quantities. I printed a handful of documents (10 or 12 pages) with the ink the printer came with, but the black started to become streaked with white, so I assumed that not very much ink came with the printer. I went out and purchased a new HP black ink cartridge. I was again able to print about 10-12 WORD doc. pages, all streaked a little bit, but at least readable. When they became unreadable, assuming I got a bad ink cartridge, I put ANOTHER new one in (HP brand). This time I counted, and I printed 16 WORD doc pages and the black ink is not printing correctly. The printer has told me every time that there was still over 1/2 a cartridge of ink left in the printer. And it is telling me right now that my ink is NOT low. (As I said, I have hardly used the printer. - I only need it occasionally.) I went onto the HP website for help and the virtual help page walked me through printing a Print Quality Diagnostic Sheet which I can not really read since the black isn't really even printing at this point. I then attempted to clean the cartridges 3 times. There has been zero improvement. This printer has been a problem for me since I started using it. To say I am VERY disappointed in this product is an understatement. 50 pages and 3 ink cartridges later (plus the price of the printer) and all I'm left with is frustration. My hope was that HP would stand by their product and replace this defective device but getting ahold of someone in customer service has proven impossible as I've been trying for 2 days.

I have only really ever had not great printers that took forever to print, I had to go on a hunt to find the USB cable to connect, and paper jams were abound. This printer is like a breath of fresh air, or a dip in a cool, crisp lake while overlooking a pink-hued sunset with a cold beverage in hand. It is refreshing, reliable and ready to take on any task I need it to. From printing entire novels (nursing student here) to printing selfies with my chickens and rooster, Tom, I can rely on my HP Envy printer to not only do the job but do the job right. Consider myself impressed and incandescently in love. Thank you HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installing Driver Envy 7155 All-in-One Printer I bought the HP Envy Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer two weeks ago and last week set it up. Unfortunately it took me most of the day to install the driver on my iMac. I am not too sure why other then the HP site continually timed-out which meant I had to start all over again to download the printer driver. After several times shutting down my iMac and restarting my Xfinity Router did I finally complete the printer set up. Since then I have been able to successfully print from any of my apple devices to Envy. Note I did everything via wireless, maybe if I wired the printer to Xfinity cable I might not have had all my problems.

I printed 23 pages and ran out of ink. I contacted HP Instant Ink and they said they were going to rush more ink to me. A week later its scheduled to be delivered and the first shipment is still in limbo and likely will not be resent now that I am getting a replacement. Nothing is being done about the fact the carts included didn't even come close to the advertised ink that was included. I should have been able to print at least 50 pages because it's advertised that the starter carts included will print about 100+ pages.

Ink is okay, a different method to install than other HP printers. The picture prints are over saturated and waste ink trying to get it right under color management feature. Please add a way to gradually increase picture density to avoid wasting ink and expensive paper. Footprint is nice and it is quiet, no problems printing documents that look very nice.

You pay for what you get. It works well and prints ok. At times I haven't liked the final color but they exchanged the ink, not sure if that's the issue but hey, you get what you pay for. If you don't have high volume of work it will do. I wanted the fax feature from the printer, only offers with mobile fax. They will start charging for that service in 2021.

Have only had for 2 weeks and have printed 20 pages...now out of ink. Bought new HP original ink cartridges but the 7155 screen says "The indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer," and will not print anything. I have cleaned the new cartridges with alcohol and a q-tip, and uninstalled and reinstalled. I unplugged to reset the printer but for some reason it is now stuck on some sort of bluetooth setting and I can't get it off ("Bluetooth smart is turning on"). No luck. So strange because I didn't even request that bluetooth be turned on. Still can't print. Piece of garbage! Will be sending back to HP tomorrow.

Also to my office lap top. it does appear to be a little flimsy. It is replacing an ENVY 110 which was excellent but no longer available. Time will tell how durable this printer is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ENVY 7155 My 7 year old HP Series 6600 inkjet printer died and I needed one ASAP. There were no printers available at any vendor other than really large ones I did not need. I ordered the HP ENVY 7155 direct from HP. It was the only all-in-one I could find with a reasonable price. Setup went okay. I would have preferred a setup CD to make sure everything installed correctly, but one does not come with the printer. I currently have it installed on my desktop and on my laptop (hopefully, as I followed instructions). So far the only issue I find is the print queue has no space at all. If you send more than about 5 pages to the printer at a time it freaks out, only prints some of them, repeats some of them, then just cancels out the job. It is tiresome to print 5 pages at a time of a 100 page document. This is a definite negative with this ENVY printer and something I did not have to deal with on my old HP Series 6600 (which was an awesome printer). I would recommend the printer, but with reservation due to the print queue issue. If you do not have to print large, multi page documents you would probably be okay. The print quality is good.

I had to return the first one because when it printed the photos about every half inch there was a thin line which was lighter than the rest of the photo. I bought a new one, and you could still see a little line, but it was much less noticeable. Fast forward to a year and a half later and the line is back but even worse. See the attached photos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WiFi Like the printer, BUT setting up WiFi is HORRIBLE. I had 3 personal strained contacts with HP agents and final requested an exchange. Thus far problems still persist. I ordered a CD to try and set up the printer with it rather than through the HP app. I had to pay $11 to have a CD mailed to me. If this doesn't work...back it goes.

The only reason for the 4 stars is I ordered my printer and extra ink from HP. The printer got here in a couple days, but the ink was sent to the wrong address. I did get my ink, but was disappointed by how the order for the ink was handled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer!! Setup was relatively easy. Only issue I had was figuring out how to install the ink cartridges. Everything else was a breeze. I've tried out several of the different picture printing options (from phone, computer and directly from Facebook) and each was very easy. And the picture quality is great. I also like that you don't have to manually switch between the photo and document paper trays. The Envy is definitely an upgrade from the Brother I was using.

I have 6 computers, tablets and phones. I downloaded the printer app on all devices... printer does not recognize any of them. I called customer service... no answer. Best Buy says I have to have Geek Squad at $100/hr to solve the issue. I have had this HP printer for a month now... and its no better than a paperweight. No one can get it working... not even HP.

Used up the ink packaged in the box with approximately 30 pages and Instant ink was slow to send more. Overall it's ok but couldn't give it 5 stars.

But I've been searching the internet for rebate coupons and am not successful. One HP site said go to product page and click on rebate tab. There was no such tab. I like the printer but am disappointed that rebates aren't easy (or even possible) to find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Dissapointing We purchased this printer to serve as a photo printer for our fathers 80th birthday celebration. We set up a professional backdrop and light box and used our iPhone to capture photos of those who attended. We looked at the reviews of many printers (and apps) before our decision and decided on this printer. We tested the unit at home several days prior to setting up at the party yesterday. Once we arrived at the party and set the printer up the nightmare began... The application/connection to was extremely difficult to make between the phone and the printer. The local Wi-Fi kept on taking over despite setting the printer Wi-Fi up and we had to manually disconnect the local Wi-Fi. Despite the printer being advertised as having Bluetooth connectivity, it never showed up on the phone or app as an available option. Then the printer never showed on the printer screen that we had any photo paper in the tray, ever, despite it being full. On the app it continuously reverted to showing 5X7 photo paper and for each picture printed we had to manually change it from 5X7 to 4X6 paper. It doesn't end there... each and every photo defaults to cropping the photos so your photos end up cutting off the right side of the frame as well as the top (peoples heads!) so each time we had to manually set the print for each photo to "fit paper". aarrrgh! So very embarrassingly frustrating!!! Then when you select print your print job holds the ability to set up another photo to print until the photo is printed (which is unusually slow!). To top it off you can only load about 10 sheets of 4X6 photo paper at a time. I so wish we could return this but we ordered it over a month ago while planning for this big, one time event. Luckily everything else at the party went well and these were the only issues.

Now mind you it sat in the box 3 weeks because I was scared to set it up!! I finally decided it was time to open the box and start this task! Unfortunately they sent a black cartridge instead of the color one. Not worth the hassle to try to get a color cartridge. Otherwise the printer is good and works great.

You have to shut it down and reboot it and clear all your projects stuck in que. It would be easier if it were wired to my desktop because I have to babysit it each time anyway.

My present HP Officejet 4622 is pretty old and I wanted to print numerous photos from our trip to France and a recent cruise. The 7155 was advertized as top-of-the-line printer on sale at approx. 50% off! It arrived in good condition. The printer had a 'handle' which assisted in removing it from the shipping box. Within minutes, I had removed all the packing, tape etc and had it plugged in. It immediately connected to the wifi and printed a callibration page. At this time, I am really impressed with my experience.I also have it connected to the internet with an email address. I can email docs, photos etc, and it will print. My 4622 is several years old, was in storage for over a year and began printing immediately after it was turned on! Good products!!

Not only did it come with free delivery 2 days later but the set up was a snap. Best of all was enrollment in the ink program saving me a lot on cartridges and a $5 voucher to boot. At the end of the day I'm actually better off. So glad I phoned

One and most important is the print quality and than the automatic sending of refills when needed. We have printed a few 4x7 and to be honest, the quality isn't there. If one doesn't look straight at photo it is blurry and the dark colors blur together making the photo un see able. The photo quality just isn't good. When we try to print a bright back lit photo it is the same this. Photo colors blur together when looking at photo from any direction other than straight on. I can't figure out how to change the settings and even if one could I am sure it wouldn't help. It's in the ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problem printing from day one I've purchased HP PC, and Printers exclusively for the last 15 years, worked with HP to build a 400 server computer room network, using blade servers, HP desktops and printers - all have performed excellently - until now. Got this printer to replace an old inkjet that started having problems after 10 years, got it set up in minutes, went to run the aligh and clean utilities, and had problems immediately printing colors. Tried again and again over the first 10 days, finally had a chat session. HP tech's conclusion matched mine, the color cartridge (cyan, magenta and yellow all in one, cyan never showed up, the rest a bit limp) was bad from the onset. HP is sending a replacement, so I'll hope that it was the cartridge, otherwise HP will be getting this one back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Off to a Good Start I bought this to replace an HP OficeJet Pro that decided it wasn't accepting cardstock anymore. It arrived two days ago. Setup was super easy, and I've printed 30 cards without a problem. My only complaint is, they could had put a little more ink in the "setup cartridges." I think I got 20 sheets out of the color cartridge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Purchased several months ago. Took 96 seconds to print a 1 page black. Returned it to store and just happened to catch a HP rep. and spoke with him. He couldn't tell me what was wrong. Brought it back home and reinstalled. Same thing. Since printer is used for home personal use only, I just put up with it. Now cartridge problem. Tells me cartridge not installed. Was printing and message came on. Quit printing. Have gone through all trouble shooting advice. Nothing helps. I have always purchased HP printers and had good luck with them, but not this one. I should have returned it, but I am several miles from a n Office Depot store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Features, but Issues from Day One I just bought this last month, and it has issues right out of the box. The cartridge alignment fails, tried the troubleshooting steps but alignment still fails. Tech support recommended updating the firmware, which I have tried several times but the firmware will not update, even after a hard reset. Unfortunately it is past the 14 days to return to the store from where I purchased it.

This is my 5th HP printer which have consistently lasted in access of 5 years each. I expect that this printer will live up to my high expectation, I have been pleased so far with both the easy of setup and the quality of the prints.

I chose this printer because it had all of the features I was looking for and was priced just right. HP did an amazing job with their shipping. I received my printer on time, as promised. Also, worth mentioning, the set up for this printer was super easy! I've only printed a few things since I've purchased this printer, but couldn't be happier with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GARBAGE 14 days after 2 year warranty expires this thing dies on me. Planned Obsolescence, this thing was designed to fail after the warranty expires so you have to buy another 1. I won't be buying another HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The features are great and the instank ink is too Bought it a few days and got it fast. Put the ink in that came with it and had bad printing. Call support and they worked with me for hours but no fix so we waited on the instant ink to arrive. Got the instant ink and that fixed the problem. The instant in is well worth it. My first time I tried it lasted me a year before I had to change it.
