Ever since I received the monitor, the sound is worse than laptop speakers. All treble, and literally hours dealing with customer service had yielded no solutions. Looks like this thing is going back. DON'T BUY this monitor. I will change my review if this is solved.

Rated 5 out of 5 bythetechgod55 from Amazing screen, with great amount of featuresThe HP envy 34inch curved monitor display is a beautiful display that is easy to set-up and use normally. I have it connected to a late 2016 MacBook Pro 13 inch and it outputs video and audio while still being charged in the process. The cable I am using to connect the two is the usb-c to usb-c, and while it does the job, it can come out of the MBP port a little too easily and can compromise the display, without not damaging the product. The speakers are amazing for what you get, made by Bang and Olufsen, you definitely will be heard rocking out to your tunes. The speakers are great with good highs, mids, but lacks a little in the bass part of things. The screen is the most amazing part of the whole monitor with a wide curve, 1440p display, it makes it look big and beautiful. while maintaining pretty-ness, it can function amazingly for any game, media consumption or work. I can ad will fully recommend this to anyone with a usb c port for it is a must-have for 2017.

Rated 5 out of 5 byakerr from Great idea, terrible implementationI don't know why there aren't more monitors on the market that are usb-c that have built in speakers, webcam, and usb. Reminds me of Apple's ThunderBolt display. USB-C worked great for about a week, then just stopped. HDMI still works, USB-C works for the USB hub but no display - tried multiple HP laptops. Had to RMA it. The webcam is a total joke, why even bother - a disgrace to a monitor trying to pretend to be high end. Speakers are decent enough for my video conferences.I'd stay away due to the issue with usb-c and the terrible webcam.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJamila from Dull displayThe build of this monitor is beautiful. The anti glare technology is horrible. Images are very dull. Only 1 HDMI is also something I had a problem with. For almost 1000 dollars this was not worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJwall327 from Nice display!I bought the 34 inch Envy to connect as a second display to my laptop. Great pic, the blacks are deep and the colors pop. It is a a great monitor. If I had to nitpick I wish the speakers were louder.
