Very sturdy and does what it sets out to do
The product holds the weight of my G9 Oddessy perfectly. The white however is more matte and doesn't match the glossy back of my computer which was disappointing. The instructions that came in the box is incomplete and does a horrible job explaining how to put together the monitor arm. Compared to ergotron video that perfectly explains and visualizes how to put it together. Set up wasn't easy, it's definitely a two person job for not just holding the monitor. But screwing in and tightening a lot of the screws to keep the arm sturdy, one screw was completely hidden within the arm and it took a good while just to be able to see it in the right light and it was a very VERY long process of turning the screw driver to get it tight enough to hold the monitor in place.
The wire management loops were nice but I wish they were a little bit larger and there could be a piece to hide and conceal the wires like the stand that came with the monitor does.
But overall for the price point and overall ideal. It really didn't feel like it was worth the high cost for the arm, but the build quality and materials itself are good and I have no doubt it will probably last the test of time. I just wish there are alternatives for my monitor or they made revisions to this existing monitor.
As to whether you want to buy this arm or not. Its one of the few if not only monitor arm for the 49" Samsung Curved Screen that can support the weight and it does the job sufficiently whether that truly amounts to a 5 star review, it doesn't simply by the price point, lack of minor cosmetic changes and the lack of ease of assembly. Here's hoping for a revision in the future.

49in samsung odyssey
I needed a new arm for my samsung odyssey. The last one broke when i was trying to angle the monitor up. Luckily i had a good grip on the monitor. That arm always had issues keeping the monitor in the angle i wanted. The HX monitor arm has no such issue. It feels super sturdy. Keeps the monitor right where i want it. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Screw head stripped
This stand holds up my 49 inch monitor without any issue. However there are 2 screws that mount the heavy duty tilt to the arm.
I had to remove the monitor a couple times to get the base in the right spot. One of the screw heads, that uses an Allen wrench started to strip. I think I may get to remove it once more before it’s ruined.
I emailed customer support and their answer was that I had to buy a new HD pivot to get another screw. And gave me a link for when I was ready to order the part.
How can you not have any of the parts? And why after paying so much for the stand would you send such a poorly worded reply telling me to go buy another pivot component.

A+ product. Was a great solution to mounting my ultrawide monitor.
Easy installation.
Best quality monitor arm I’ve ever used.
Only issue was customer service was not very helpful in addressing some trouble shooting issues and responded in an “aggressive” manner towards my questions.

Only arm that worked for my 39” curved ultra wide
Excellent arm. Well worth the price if you’re using a larger/curved monitor. I cycled through a few alternatives before landing on Ergotron and wish I hadn’t wasted my time. Installation was simple and the instructions were clear.

Perfect, installed quick and easy and is a perfect fit. And you wouldn't know it was there. Very sturdy and apparently durable, definitely what I needed and the legs of the monitor are finally out of the way, giving much more desk space. Very nice and well done.

It’s a bit weak holding up my Samsung Neo g9 49 inch curved monitor up high as it will tend to fall but at more normal low to mid heights it’s perfect. It’s just a small thing but it’s a thing to be aware of.

Great monitor mount
I recently purchased this mount for my 49" Samsung Odyssey G9. The mount is high quality and was quite easy to install (took about 30 minutes). It easily supports the monitor and has full range of motion, despite it being pretty heavy. Definitely recommend.

Easy to assemble & sturdy
I got this for my curved Samsung 49" and its excellent. Very sturdy and easy to use. My only complaint would be the cable management. I wish it could be a little cleaner with wires. But other than that, I love it!

Fits great and holds up the Samsung 49" Odyssey G9
Was easy to set up and to mount the monitor. You need a friend to help you hold the monitor while you secure it but that's because of the monitor is pretty heavy so you need to adjust the tension up quite a bit but it solid once you dial it in.

Awesome Piece of Gear!
This is one amazing piece of gear! As soon as I opened the box I immediately got the impression that it was a medical grade piece of equipment. Once mounted, I couldn't have been happier with the result. I got my desk space back, it cleaned up the look of my gaming area, and my Odyssey G9 now looks like it floating in mid air. Right out of the box I didn't need to make any adjustments. The factory tensions were just right. I was concerned that the weight of my monster monitor would cause the mount to be a bit flimsy but that's not the case. Its very solid. If you have an Odyssey G9 and you don't have the Ergotron mount, you're really missing out.

Holds the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 49” in any position I’ve tried with absolutely zero issues.
I positioned the arm where I can use it for office work in the traditional position and then I can swing it around 90 degrees to serve as the main monitor for my sim racing cockpit.
Absolutely worth the money. Top notch product.

Expensive for an average product - its hard to move.
Its solid, but it takes up a lot more space than I wanted in that I mounted it where I thought I wanted the screen centered on, but it would have been better mounted to the side as it does not go back as far as I would like. It is also very hard to move. Up down sideways, I have to use two hands and usually get up and go around the back of the desk to move it. I would expect to be able to move it with one hand for this sort of price. Finally, I could not figure out where to put the screw to keep it from rotating from the instructions. I could sort of see where the screw was supposed to go, but could not find the whole for it on the unit. It works, but I wouldn't buy it again. I drilled a hole in the desk for it as I have trays underneath for cables and the clamp would not fit, so now to move it to where it would work better I have to drill another hole. I can use the other hole to route cables - but overall this product is average in my view.

Really good arm
The arm is really well made. Feels sturdy to the hand and it’s quite heavy which gives comfort to my heart. Requires two people to assemble, specially if you’re doing a big monitor. We had an issue were the monitor was too heavy bringing the arm down but it was super easy to adjust the sturdiness of the arm and now works like a charm.
