It would get at least 4 stars if iPad/iPhone could see it more than just half the time. So if you don’t mind jumping through a few hoops to print from your devices, this printer is a good buy.

It replaces my Kodak ESP 5210 which only printed about 10 pages before the ink ran out. I didn't have time to set up the easy ink replenish as they didn't have any more in stock at the store I went to. I was unable to pick it up at the store across town so a friend picked it up for me the next day. The whole process of setting up the printer to connect to my MacBook Pro has been rather tedious. I am still working on setting up the ink replenish program. Best Buy wasn't able to assist over the phone. My next step is to contact Epson for further assistance. I rate myself average tech experience so I'm able to follow directions and I know my laptop well. Besides the set up, I'm anxious to use my printer.

This one has all commands at the touch of an icon on the screen. Setting up was easy although I must confess it took a while for the scanner to recognize the Windows laptop and the Mac that I have on my home wi fi. This was because I was replacing a WF 630 and I needed to remove it. Once that was done everything worked fine. I also like that this printer can accommodate envelopes. I have not tried it yet.

The installation was relatively simple, but I really wish they would provide a user's manual to tell you how to print on envelopes, adjust print settings, etc. It would be nice to also know how many pages I can expect to print from the ink cartridges that came with the unit. I would also like to find a source for their XL cartridges - Best Buy, where I purchased the printer doesn't carry those!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Install Did Not Go SmoothlyThe installation of the drivers on my Windows PCs "stalled" (i.e. wouldn't process the configuration...it just stopped) in one case and another case could not find the printer. Called Epson technical support and the woman wasn't interested in solving my problem as stated, she just read from a script and sent me an email with the drivers attached (still didn't work). Decided to attack the problem 24 hours later. This time the printer said it needed a firmware update. I loaded the update and voila! It worked! As far as printer's speed and print quality...excellent. Download and install of Epson Print Enabler from Google Play on my Samsung 7 went without a hitch.

I have to keep pressing until the blue light turns on which sometimes can be after I press the key six times.The second problem is when I scan from my computer after the scan is finished the box which indicates my selection of the action I should take with the scanned item does not appear until after about 60 seconds. When I first used the scan this selection appeared almost just after the scan was completed

It will not print anything until you replace the ink. Ink is expensive (duh!) but when you have to get it this frequently I should have considered other makes and models. I mostly use this to print occasional documents, and the periodic image.

I forgot to buy paper so have not yet printed but I found the setup to be very easy - I am not super "techie" so this has been helpful. I was able to scan to my computer and my iPad recognized the printer as well. Thus far I am giving this a 5 star rating. Now off to buy paper so I can put it through the rest of it's paces.

I have not found a way to set it exactly to the minute. All I can find in the setting is whether it is "Summer" or "Winter"! There is no way to set MM/DD/YY and hh:mm:ss!!!

It uses too much of my data to download the 300+ page user manual. Tried to scan some material, but was unable to figure it out. It prints ok on black and white, but the letters aren't very dark. Just got this unit two weeks ago and have only printed about 15 pages, so it shouldn't be the ink. Maybe I just haven't got something right. A manual would sure help.

It survived the fire because it happened to be the farthest point from the fire, and the smoke, water, and high humidity didn't effect it because of all the packaging. I have just recently gotten to open it up and set it up. Such an amazing machine! The paper feeds evenly, the print quality is perfect, the wireless connection is so convenient, and there is so much more about this machine that has convinced me not only to remain forever an Epson fan, but this is now my most favorite technological piece of equipment I have in my home office. I depend on it a lot. Amazing!

I purchased this model because we run a small business and needed the document feeder function on it the most. It holds up to 35 pages to scan so that is very nice. When purchasing this printer, it states it does not come with a USB plug. Unless you are hooking it up directly to your computer or laptop, it's not necessary. It comes with the power cord and if you are using Wi-Fi, it really is the only cord you need. It prints nicely and so far I am very happy with it. At this point I would recommend this printer.

Got to control panel and select Fire Wall or security link and turn off both private and public firewall. Otherwise you will be spending 30 minutes waiting for tech support to answer call and wasting their time.

I waited until now to write a review because I wanted to make sure I would still love it as much at this point as I did when I first got it. Yes, I do. Printing -- including two-sided -- is crisp and fast. The copier and scanner are quick, with so many options. Compared to some other printers, the WF-3720 is relatively compact, which is perfect for my workspace. This unit is a workhorse!

The application infrequently recognizes the correct printer, and the Epson printer frequently cannot find the correct PC to receive the scan. I tried the scanner because I heard via the internet that the images were too dark, but at least with what I scanned there did not seem to be a problem. If you want super high resolution and amazing scanning then you have to buy a specialized dedicated scanner. But this is fine for me, and not too dark. I get mailed letters and photos from foreign countries for a newsletter and use the scanner for my charity's newsletter. Seems fine.

It is so confusing compared to other Epson Printers I've bought that were 'simple, install & use'.I am thinking of just taking it back to the store and getting a basic Epson printer or a smaller version without all this BULK. It isn't 'space saving' by any means and the touch screen doesn't really explain anything to an average user.

I went to the Internet and FINALLY found the information I needed. I had to load the software 3 times before it would work as stated. Now, I really do love it and how it works but I think you need to drastically improve the instructions you include with each new purchase.

I haven't had it long enough to judge the dependability but my last printer, also an Epson, lasted me quite a while with no problems. I only gave it 4 starts because I do a lot of photo editing and wanted to get the colour profile for this printer. I did have the colour profile file for my last printer which was a lower model but I was told by tech support that they do not support it for this printer. They offered no other advice.

I needed something that was able to scan and print double-sided multiple documents. This WF-3720 does the job beautifully. My ONLY "issue" is that it is rather loud when it prints -- especially double-sided - which limits my ability to work late at night due to fear of waking the family. Although, now that I think of it, this may be a good thing in that it keeps me from working into the wee hours of the morning. God knows I need my beauty sleep.

After printing three documents with images and text it looks like a good quality printer. If it continues to perform like this I'll write a follow-up review.

This one prints well, WHEN it chooses to print!We have had great difficulty getting it to print. I have tried, USB, wifi, and direct. It often just sits there. We have three Macs, an iPad, and two iPhones Today, only one of the Macs can print to the printer. Once I saw a way to adjust the amount of time it will stay on, but now I cannot fine that setting. It turns itself off way too soon.

The prints are very clear and it is way quieter than my last printer, the cats don’t get up to investigate the noise when it prints which means less torn up papers and less printing so that makes it the best purchase for me.

After not printing for a couple months I had to do all kinds of maintenance. Replaced all ink cartridges, ran adjustments and checks for hours and it still couldnt print a legible word. This is the second Brother printer that has done this to me, and I wont buy another

Had to call the Epson help desk, once I was able to find a number, and have them walk through the process. I have had to register this machine 3 times and hope the third time sticks or I will again have a problem connecting to the printer from the computer. Up to the date of this Review, every time the power goes down the printer cannot connect to the printer.

Easy to use once you get used to it. A little larger than I had hoped. I have had Epson products before so I felt comfortable with the quality. Quiet, fast, reliable and is a good value for the price. Would recommend.

He is really into tech and loves the wireless printing, the ease of setup, and the reliability. This printer uses cartridges and the starter cartridges are still mostly full, a couple of months later. So it doesn't look like he needs to pick up replacement cartridges anytime soon. He likes the printer so much that he recommended it to another friend, who picked one up as well!

I used another brand for years but it seemed like they would always break down after about a year. This is the first Epson I've owned and I'm hoping that it will last more than a year. The set-up instructions were simple and I had it up and running in less than ten minutes. It's fast, especially for black & white, and the color copies are very good quality. So far no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with Linux!I bought this printer for me and my wife for school, work (accounting), and for printing programs for my church, and for handouts for events. I use it heavily. Ink cost and amount per cartridge is average for the industry, but this printer and all the features work on GNU/Linux. More specifically Fedora 28, and Ubuntu. It isn't very often that you get a printer working let alone working well with GNU/Linux, but Epson has great support for GNU/Linux Distributions. My next printer will most definitely be another Epson.

It couldn't be any easier, at least for me. Print quality and print speed seems great so far, but I've only had it for a couple hours.

Set-up instructions need to add details about completing date/time, etc. inputs on screen before attempting ink cartridge installation. Had to call Tech. Support to report ink carriage "malfunction" when it won't budge. Tech guided me on screen info inputs, then it worked!! Am now using other features as I work along.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from incredibly easy to setupI needed a printer, just took a chance on Epson do to the price and features was not expecting much! Brought home was anticipating a struggle to setup. Followed simple instructions and bam done, great job Epson, will update review if things change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliability and Excellent ServiceI have had Epson printers for over seven years starting with NX330. In May 2017 I replaced it with a WF-2760. For some reason it stopped printing in November after six months. I took it to Best Buy and without any hassles they got it replaced immediately with a printer of my choice. Now I have the bigger and better WF-3720. Setting up this printer was smooth and easy and print quality has been excellent so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great BrandI think this is a good printer, BUT, connecting the scan capability to email is lacking in detail for me, an elementary tech person. I had a prior Epson Workforce 520 and it was amazing simpler.
