Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Right For MeI have been using the Epson SureColor P600 printer for over two years. For me, it's just right. I enjoy being able to print up to 12×18 images when I want to. That's a perfect size for my purposes. If I want to go bigger, which is very rare, I will send the print job out. I am very happy with the pigment ink set. It is a very durable medium. The colors are fantastic. I generally use Epson's Ultra Premium Lustre Photo paper and I get fabulous results. I occasionally use heavy art paper as well. The results are outstanding. For home and semi-professional use, this is the ideal setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color with one or two drawbacksI am very pleased with the quality of the prints both glossy and matte as well as water color paper. However, the life of the ink cartridges is very short, particularly when compared with my older Epson 3880. Also, the paper feed frequently sends a sheet through then tells me I am out of paper when this is not the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SureColor P600 - nice prints but squealsJust obtained this printer a few weeks ago. The print quality is excellent. It is a bit bigger and bulkier than the R2400 it replaces. Only downsides I note so far is that it squeals loudly when feeding paper and the initialization time from print command to printing is noticeably longer than the R2400. Hoping the squeal goes away as it is annoying. To me that indicates possibly something not assembled quite right or lacking lubrication.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eay setup + configure = superb print qualityUpgraded a venerable, but now defunct 2200 - and wow, what a difference. Setup was quick and efficient, print quality unmatched from anything I've seen before - output mechanizations were much quieter than the noise levels I'd been accustomed, too! Looking forward to the long term return on this investment with the jewels of print media it produces. Would like to see the cost of inks reduced - but at least the reservoirs are larger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Returned it !!!I read through all the reviews and thought that people must be exaggerating the negative issues with this machine but after I got it all hooked up and running was disappointed with the quality of the prints. Had to adjust each and every photo that came out and even then it was still extremely dark. So disappointed that I packaged it up and sent it back. I miss my old R2200...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful printsI upgraded from a r1900. These pigment printers are getting so good that the improvements are getting smaller. B&W is impressive with this printer, something my r1900 lacked in quality. As for color, looks as good as lab prints imho. I don't do high end art prints so those types of photographers may disagree but for studio and outdoor portraits and landscapes, there pretty amazing. I print more personal photos than sold prints, I love to have a physical print than just look at them on my computer or Facebook like the new generation seems to be doing. 13X19 is as large as I need and if/when a larger print is requested, I have a lab option. For me and my target customers, I very rarely get asked for anything larger than 11X14. The p800 would be over kill for me. I like the larger carts compared to the r1900 but I also use pro quality refillable inks and carts to save an insane amount of money over OEM carts. If your on the fence, buy this. If you do larger prints over 13X19 or you do a lot of printing with OEM inks, the P800 may save you some ink cost money over the long haul. I have nothing bad to say about this printer other than the wireless option is slow compared to usb speed. About twice as long. Again depends on how many prints you want to send and how much time you have. I did a back log of prints of about 200 in one sitting. Wireless was not an option. But I had to tryout that feature. As always, epson print driver is not the most user friendly but not bad after you get used to it. Not to different than my 6year old R1900. I hope this helps. This is just one mans opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A printer for all usesBe it a scientific photograph, portraits that capture special moments or a fine art rendering, the Epson SureColor P600 printer can do all of that and more. Epson's variety of papers and Epson's Ultrachrome HD inks combined with photography skills is a studio's gateway to producing constantly great renderings for clients and yourself. For me, Epson is the clear winner for producing renderings that take their place in history.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality printsVery happy with printer so far, only had it a couple of months but expect to continue being pleased. This not my first Epson inkjet - previously owned & operated a Photo Stylus R2400 for years. Loved print quality on that and loving it on this SC P600. Thanks Epson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from P600 PrinterQuality by itself is excellent. But where the output form my R3000 printer very closely matched my Eizo color calibrated monitor the P600 does not. I will have to adjust for both color (P600 too blue) and brightness before printing. I have tried every combination of settings I can think of but have not been able to resolve the problems. If you have a suggestion I would appreciate receiving it. I was not expecting the higher ink cost which is another problem.
