Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent service and printersI love Epson Stylus Ink Jet Printers. What a work horse these machines are. If you just want a good working printer, pick Epson Stylus Printers. This is the third one I've bought and wouldn't have anything else attached to my computer! Epson's service is great too! They shipped it out right away and I'm now finishing up the project I had to print. Thanks Epson!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a SPUNKY workhorseI've purchased this very same printer for many years. We really put them through their paces. Being a sign company, you need to do a lot of drawings and a lot of times it requires professional gloss printouts. The level of the 1440 dpi printing is of beautiful photographic images you just can't believe.DON'T EVER STOP MAKING THESE!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson C88+I owned an Epson C88 printer for about 10 + years. It finally went to the happy hunting grounds. I replaced the printer with a C88+ so far it is a very good investment. I have had this printer for about 2Mo; a very good investment.Ellis

Rated 5 out of 5 by from epson c88+I LOVE this printer. this is my second one. i had the other for several years, milked every bit of performance possible out of it, when i finally had to replace it. When i saw the quality of my first printout off the new printer, i was astounded again by beautiful documents. i hope Epson continues to produce the C88+. it's a fantastic printer for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson C88+This printer is a real workhorse. Quality printing, fast, efficient, single ink cartridges and works easily with all lb paper. The draw backs are that two sided printing has to be done manually and it seems to only last 18 months. This is my fourth printer of this type. Maybe Epson will finally figure out how to make a quality printer that will last.

I also have a Stylus CX3810 (discontinued model) that I'm happy with. They both use the same ink cartridges which makes it a lot easier when it comes to bulk ink purchases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullI'm on my second C+88 and both have been solid, no-nonsense, dependable printers. They are user-friendly, hard working and durable. My first one and my current one have lasted far beyond the expected lifespan of today's printers. The print cartridges are found in every office supply store and are easy to install. I would reccomend the Epson C+88 to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this printer is very good. This is my 2nd C88+ the first one was C88 and I had that one for 14 years and then I saw this one and I got this around 5years ago. My computer is very good it prints very good. I use it alot so my ink is every other month but thats only because I open a Home Business last year and I use my printer for every day things and also for my home business too. I would not change it for a newer one. I just like the way it prints and all the color is very good too. also the price was the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The C88+ printerI started out with a C88 a long time ago and liked it.I then purchased an NX420 which has the capability of scanning and enlarging. I also have the C88+ printer which is my main printer. It is Fast, Quiet and so easy to maintain. It gives excellent quality to anything I want printed, either in brilliant black and sharp color printing as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this to all my friends---and I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dependable WorkhorseI've used Epson printers for about 15 years and every one of them has been great. I just ordered my second C88+ as the one I've been using for 7 years is finally wearing out. Print quality is excellent, it's easy to use and doesn't drink ink like a thirsty camel. Compatibility and ease of use with a Mac is appreciated as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a nice supprise..I'm a professional photographer and use an Epson 1280 larger format printer for most of my work but needed just a printer for my bedroom computer for proofs and letters... I bought an Epson C-88 .. I use the bedroom computer at times to edit my photos and found my self using the C88 for my smaller prints up to 8.5 x 11 and it was good enough quality for my clients and not just for proofs or contact sheets.. Just love it.. not to mention the price...;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson C88+I have been using Epson C88+ printers for about 10 years. I started with a C88, and then upgraded to C88+. I do some large print runs, and one of the features I like best about this (and other Epson models) is the separate ink cartridges for each color instead of a tri-color cartridge. Some projects use a lot of blue and little red, etc., and I don't have to change the whole cartridge when I run out of just one color. I have probably had 7 C88+ printers over the years, and am glad they are still making them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for everyday stuffI've been using this printer for a few years now. It has held up well. It prints OK for everyday stuff but the colors are often off a bit so I would not reccomend it for pictures. It does not use a lot of ink and you can buy just the colors as you need them rather than having to change all the colors and the black every time you run out of one. Overall for the price I am very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Easy to Use and Prints BeautifullyI make greeting cards and needed a printer that would print true to colors and graphics in them. This printer does all that and more. It is also easy on the ink with the new technology for printing. I love this printer and recommend it for anyone needing photos and graphics that stand up on the page in bright clear true colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pretty goodi have had this since i was 6 or 7. it still works, after lots of use and a year or two in storage. one problem i notice though. i bought a new black cartridge two days ago-one eighth has already been used. not efficient at all. also, i notice that it has severe color alignment problems from time to time. also, i can't clean the heads. looked everywhere- nothing. i'm going to look at the support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review on Epson Stylus C88+I have now had the Epson Stylus C88+ for more than a week. It replaced my Epson 820. I am pleased at how smoothly and efficiently it works. What was most impressive for me was how easy it is to set up. From opening the box to printing a page it took only a few minutes. I like that the color inkjets are separated into three colors so that I only need to replace the color that has run out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Printer Ever!I have used an Epson Stylus printer for years, and currently using the C88+. It is perfect for my needs: reasonably fast, great colors, easy to operate. It will handle 60 lb paper that I can turn and print on the back. The feeder is precise enough that pages are evenly matched. I use one of these printers until it exceeds its life, and then I throw it away and purchase another one. Great little printer!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullThis is my third C - 88 and as long as they keep making them, I'll keep buying them...my all time favorite printer EVER...easy to use, you can lift the cover to watch the process, you can move the paper down to the starting position to make sure it's lined up evenly...No other printer does this....and beautiful quality prints. A suggestion for Epson...I went to load it on my IMac and you don't need to use a driver as it is stated in the set up instructions...it caused a lot of problems and I had to call tech support. With an Imac, you only have to plug the printer in...this should be noted in the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delivers on all my requirementsI know this isn't the latest and greatest, but it may well be the best deal on the market. We are using this for a custom shirt start-up. I researched the market as best I could in the time allowed. This was by far the most positively reviewed printer for the industry. Worked right out of the box. Got here a day early (and that was during holiday season) so they must have shipped it immediately. Have been pleased with Epson products in the past (bought my first one in the early 80's - guess I'm giving away my age). Keep it available, some things shouldn't be replaced just because they have been around for awhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality for the priceI was a little hesitant because of the low price, but I must say it has been a very pleasant surprise. It prints quickly and has good color reproduction. The ink is a bit expensive, but it seems to be lasting a reasonable time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Reliable MachineGood Reliable Machine that works with earlier MAC operating systems. I have two of these. Thank goodness this is still available so that users with power books and older vintage Macs have a printer driver that functions and they do not have to get new computers just because no printer interfaces with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't buyI have bought several of these printers because they are easy to use. However, for some reason, they don't last more than 6 months. It is a nuisance to have to replace them so often. I need to replace one again today, but am giving up. I am not going to buy one anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson C88+Makes clean sharp prints, better than our HP desk size lasers. Prints fairly fast for an inkjet. We use it to print 30-40 data sheets a day from a surface finish testing machine, 95% ink use is black.Only bothers so far... A. Could use a higher capacity black ink, the older HP went 2X longer (but XL Hp cartridge$ were also 3X higher).B. Could use a software based low/no ink warning that is cartridge specific. It has a built-in indicator, but a software pop up would be nice.C. It could use a sensor that disables printing if the paper tray door is closed (we have a user that tried that, and it creates an easily cleared paper Jam). It's much quieter than it's Hp predecessor. It's compact footprint is 2/3 the size of the HP as well, Nice. If it keeps working this well for 3 years or more, I will dislike Hp even more...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this little printer.I have been using Espon printers for over 15 years. The Epson C88+ printers that I have been using for most of that time work perfectly for my purposes. I don't need a Fax or scanner. All I do is print between 50 to 150 full color documents a day. This little printer usually lasts me over a year. At the quantities I print, that is impressive. When I have the need for photo quality prints, they always come out great. This printer has no fancy bells or whistles, it just does exactly what I need... it prints. I will keep using this model of Epson as long as they keep making it.

I have been using my Epson C88 for 9 years now, printing out my metallic cover stock and all sorts of cover papers and photos for my wedding invitations. I have 4 and I LOVE THEM! My clinets are amazed at the color and quality that come from such an economical printer! Kudos to Epson!!! PLEASE do not discontinue this printer ever, or I will be out of business.. Its economical and lasts a good long time. Thank you Epson!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson Stylus C88+Over the years -- we are now using our fifth Epson printer. The photos on photo paper are professional quality prints. Printing on plain paper is good as well. The DuraBriteUltra Ink holds up beautiful, even in direct sunlight. As long as the quality of the output is of the quality we have come to expect, we will continue to buy Epson printers. But I do not understand why in 2010 (almost 2011) all Epson printers are not Blue Tooth capable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylus C88I am now on my 4th Stylus printer. I started with the C84, then C86, now C88. I've been very happy with all of them. I do a LOT of printing for the RV park I live in, (posters, dance and entertainment tickets, etc). The one thing that brought me to Epson to begin with is that so far I have found it to be the only printer that will reduce the margin to .25 or less all around. When I've had problems, your tech support has been very helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent little printerThis is my second C88+. I had my first one for many years and loved it...it is simple and uncomplicated! And, it prints excellently. I was very happy when it came time for a new one that I could order the same model! I do not care for other brands of printers because I have found that the Espon models are much more resonably priced for ink cartridge refills!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from trustHave this printer for 5 years now, and am replacing it with the same one. Am happy to see it is still for sale, and available. I'm replacing it because I'm receiving a notice every time I print with it that some parts are at the end of their lifetime. That is a nice notice to receive. I wish my car had that feature. The printer is used every day in my home office, and has been wonderfully reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little workhorseAfter using a C82 for thousands of pages, it finally met it's end and was replaced with a pair of C84s. These ran for many thousands of pages as well so when these finally reached their service limit, I naturally chose the last of the family line, C88. The best features are the straight through paper path and the nearly waterproof inks. These are truly spectacular plain paper printers for normal documents, labels and such. Photos, not so much, but they work in a pinch even for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough Enough~With ABOVE Average Results! If I remember correctly,we purchased our C88+ printer approximately 6 years ago. That is when started our 3 year trip of about 40,000 miles in an RV all over the USA. We needed a printer that was easy to operate and handle, tough enough to survive the vibration and would still do a job on all the photos we took (over i,000). Well this isn't the 1st Epson I have owned and won't be the last as we are no longer bouncing around in the RV will shortly purchase as "All in One" type printer and you know it will be an EPSON!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson Stylus C88+ printerI bought this to replace my C-64 which died a few weeks ago after over 5 years in service and use just about every day. If this one lasts at least that long I will be happy. This one was very easy to set up and get running. The colors on printing are very true and sharp and clear. I read the other reviews and have to say this printer is not laud when printing at all. I am very pleased with the printer. I also have an Epson Stylus RX500 that I use for my cards and photos. Have had it over 5 years also and the scanning, etc. on it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice printer - While it works!Bought quite a few of these, they all fail as ink nozzles will eventually clog and create print quality issues & fail. Unless you want to make sure your users do a nozzle check and clean diligently, which is pretty hard to expect a general user to do, would NOT recommend spending $ on this printer.

The quality printing of the Epson Stylus C88+ on the transfer paper I use is unbelievable. For the quality and price, this is the best deal I’ve ever found on a printer. Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullC-88 printed OK but is not compatible with my Windows 7 Computer. I had a Epson C-120 printer and when I printed something, a box appeared on the screen that let me know my ink levels and also had a STOP box to click on if I wanted to halt the printing. With the C-88 the box does not appear on the screen when printing so I cannot stop printing if I decide to stop for whatever reason. It also does not show the ink levels.

I use the Epson C-88 for everything and it prints great. I just hope they keep making them because in my opinion they are the best. They do wear out but after a long printing life. I do a lot of picture flyers and would not change printers unless they stopped making them. I have never had any trouble with them. I prefer the single printer over the all- in -one.Good Job EpsonDon

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PurchaseThis has been a great little printer. I do both b&w and color printing as well as printing photos. I have had wonderful results no matter what I print. My next experiment is going to be on fabric. We wear our printers out, they don't break. I love the separate ink color cartridges that the machine has. We have been using Epson printers since our first dot matrix printer over 20 years ago. When it is time for another printer, it will be an Epson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson Stylus C88+I've only had it a few days. I recommend you wait a reasonable time before requesting an evaluation. In the few days I've had it all I can say is it works. I haven't used it long enough to tell if it is a ink hog or not. The on/off button requires a hard push to function. As for, "would I recommend this product to a friend, I said "yes", but actually the answer at this point is really, "I'm not sure".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My second C88+My first C88+ was purchased in March 2009. It performed well up to a few weeks ago. After doing the self help instructions and talking with a tech rep. I was advised to have the print head replaced or purchase a new printer. I was very pleased with the C88+ performance and purchased a new one. Besides good performance I had made a recent purchase of ink cartridges so that and the price influenced my choice. I gated the C88+ as good (4 stars) because there was no 4.8 rating.I recommend this printer.
