Dynabook equipped both the Portégé X30 with biometric and facial authentication technologies to deliver an advanced level of security and differentiate the notebooks from the competition. The first component is a Touchpad with a built-in fingerprint sensor called SecurePad with Synaptics Natural ID fingerprint sensor. The second element, found on both the notebooks, is the integration of IR cameras to allow for facial authentication via Windows Hello face sign-in. We sent it back with the CDW receipt and the geniuses and CDW returned the laptop back to us saying we didn't buy it from them even though it came with the CDW receipt! Better getting a laptop from Amazon!

Rated 5 out of 5 byRJ2017 from Major performance and usability issues out of the boxMajor performance, failure and usability issues right out of the box. Fan stopped error notices about , every third time I use it; about 1 in maybe 5 times the processing speed drops to nil at startup causing Office apps to jerk requiring a reboot; same with mouse pad - at time goes crazy opening up multiple windows inadvertently or jumping around - also required reboot to settle it down. the "joystick" is not useful it goes where I dont point it and is slow and inaccurate. I have to call to hopefully get it replaced.Thin design is good keyboard easy, nice screen - except for the design of the the touch pad which is so touchy it is difficult even at the lowest sensitivity level. (Even typing this was difficult with mouse highlighting the whole paragraph every time I touched it}.
