It has started to use alot more ram when i was gaming on one game it was using 12gb of ram so i thought well its time to upgrade to more ram now i could use other ram products but i wanted to try this first ..it fit my alienware perfect and it still uses 12gb of ram on some games but its ok now i dont have any issue and it seems to make the laptop littler cooler .. i will explain before it seem like the laptop was working hard when gaming and the temps were high (170 to 190) and very warm to hot when you touch it in some places but now the temp are high but i think normal from (150 to 170) so if u need some ram to make your laptop run more efficiently try this

I likely could have paid less if I purchased from a different company/manufacturer but has heard my new G5 laptop sometimes ran into issues without a Dell RAM module, so opted to play it safe. No complaints, this laptop is fast.

I doubled the RAM on an older desktop that was starting to decline and it is maybe better than new. It was easy to add and I cleaned it up in the process. All good

The ability to multitask has definitely improved and the installation was quick and easy. I like the peace of mind of knowing that the memory is from Dell and was compatible with my laptop. We then thought about the RAM memory upgrade and gave it try. What a difference, we can run multiple hungry memory programs at once with no delays or hiccups. The only downside to this round, I paid for express shipping, they blame the shipping company but Dell hasn’t even made a shipping label yet. First time: 4 days. This time: still processing and it’s been a week and 1/2.

Upgrade is great. much faster than before, I decided to buy the factory Dell memory upgrade, instead of less expensive aftermarket memory cards, I didn't want issues on a MAIN operating component of my laptop. I have Dell to back me up of I have an issue. Took 5 minutes to install, VERY happy !!!
