Not enough memory to help
I was told by a Dell associate that this 4GB upgrade would expand the memory on my Inspiron 11 3000 so I could get updates to my Windows 10. This was the same memory I already had so I returned that memory to get a refund.

Extremely poor info on memory upgrades
The Dell site doesn't offer info on how to install the extra memory, or how involved it is to do so. YouTube videos imply the battery, keyboard, CD/DVD drive and back cover have to be removed for this. Not sure I would have purchased had I know how involved/risky this is to do for the average owner.

Great product, iffy price
Works as it is suppose to and fit without a problem when I put it into my sisters laptop. Directions that came on the laptop were very clear. 4 stars however cause I feel the price is to high for the product seeing as it’s a single stick of ram at its speed

I requested an upgrade. Instead, when I opened my computer to install the new memory, I discovered there was already a 4GB memory card there. Dell should have recommended an 8GB card instead. Very disappointed.

my laptop said I had 2 slots ordered this to bump it to 8 Gigs. Turns out it could only hold 1 sodimm so I had 2 order an 8. And apparently they cant refund me

Easy to order the correct part for a novice.
Well it worked which was my main concern as a novice. Easy to use the Dell website to find the correct part, so the fact that it was a little pricey was helped by having the confidence that it would be right and work. The free delivery helped and it only took a couple of days to arrive.
