Great conferencing monitor
Camera is great, sound is good, perfect for teams/zoom meetings. Only thing I don't love is that it mutes when the camera is pushed in, which isn't obvious unless you notice the mute coming on when you do it.

Monitor has solid build quality and the built in buttons for volume, camera on/off, and Teams connect is just awesome. Excellent work monitor and the 1440 display is amazing. Just make sure your "work" laptop has the graphics power to push this at its full res while also powering your second 1080P display. Otherwise, this will force you to downgrade the res in order for you to be able to use two displays. My wife's brand new work Dell could not push this monitor at full res without using "only" this monitor so be careful with that.

Overall a solid choice. Picture is clear, camera is an upgrade over existing, speaker works has some trouble in teams meetings with low volume. Set-up for me eliminates the docking station.

Not really worth the price. Does not do anything that special. Connection is not always great with my windows computer, which is the whole reason I got this one. There are cheaper ones that will work better for you!

Great Video Conference Monitor
Excellent monitor display quality. The high resolution of the screen allows me to open multiple windows on the screen and have the size of the font perfect for being close to me, even though I wear glasses. The camera is also high resolution and does pretty good at adjusting to the environment lighting. The only thing I would request is that I could adjust the zoom of the camera. It is fairly wide, which would work great for a group but is a bit wide for just me.

Hoping for the Best
Beautiful monitor but it showed up with some distressed pixels (pink/purple blemishes on a black screen). I’ve been waiting 6 weeks plus for the replacement so I’m hoping that the new unit is ready to roll when it finally arrives.
I’ll adjust my review once the new unit arrives in the expected condition.

Microsoft Teams bar and integrated mix/cam work great. You do need to use USB stream cable in addition to a regular monitor cable for the teams bar buttons to work, not a bad thing just something good to note. Look and fell overall is worth it, the technical aspects are there as well.

Newsroom usage for agile works spaces
Works out of the box for MS Teams via the button on the front bezel. USB-C power to the laptops works for the various Dell / Toshiba / Mac laptops via USB-C port. Video from the camera is solid and audio is clear. The mic on it works well also. End users just occasionally get tripped up when selecting the right mic / speaker source in Zoom, but that's a separate application issue.

Have been working with Dell technical support for more than 50 days trying to solve a popping sound coming from the monitor. The popping sound is very annoying, happens on startup and constantly throughout the day.

The KVM Switch is the Premier Feature
Have had this monitor for about 2 weeks now. I got it because it substantially simplifies my home set up. I have a work laptop and a personal desktop computer at the same desk, both of which I use with two monitors. I have one keyboard and one mouse. Previously, I had a huge rat's nest of cables, plus an external kvm switch, to allow me to toggle the keyboard, monitors, and mouse between the two computers. It worked, but it was a clunky solution. With this monitor the kvm switch is built in AND it has a displayport out port, which I found to be a rare combination. A few of the Dell U-series monitors have that function, but they're almost all more expensive than this monitor. The result is that I can now daisy-chain this monitor to one of my old monitors, plug my laptop in with a single usb-c cable, and connect my desktop with one usb-a to usb-b cable and a displayport cable. All the same functionality with far fewer cables.
I docked a star because the sound from the built-in speaker is pretty sub-par, and that's to my very average ears. It also has some clicky glitching sounds playing YouTube videos occasionally. The built-in camera is pretty good. It blows my laptop camera out of the water, but is only on-par with external webcams that have been around for years. It's great for video conferencing, but probably insufficient for a content creator.
Quick note, the updated version of this monitor for 2023, the C2723DE, which is available now, is cheaper because the resolution is only 1080p, whereas this monitor is 1440p. That's a bad choice from Dell in my view as 27" is pretty big for only 1080p resolution. So, this is one of those times where I would (and did forego the newest version in favor of last-year's model to get the better resolution.

The camera Hass to be exposed for the microphone to be active so you can’t turn the microphone on unless you have a camera up which gives people the false sense of security. Also this monitor is unique and to itself. If a person wants to have multiple monitors there are no other monitors manufactured by Dell that are identical and not only resolution but appearance and adjustment

Dell C2722DE helped to clean and declutter my desk
The Dell C2722DE monitor works well and helped keep my desk clean and less cluttered. Having multiple video inputs and the KVM feature helps me to switch between my two computers seamlessly using the same keyboard and mouse. The integrated camera and microphone eliminate even more cables and clutter. I recommend using a 10GBS (Gen 2) USB-C cable instead of the one provided by Dell. The speakers, microphone, and camera work well for meetings.

Good screen resolution and quality product. The only reason for marking down is the speaker quality isn’t great. I be to turn it all the way up to hear people. I was hoping the camera would be flush with the monitor and not a pop up. You also need to have this up for the mic, even if you’re not using the camera function. Would probably just look at a USB C docking station monitor only and purchase the other items seperate

Nice VCM that will help eliminate clutter
It's a good VCM. If you are using a desk mounted monitor arm setup, be sure it can handle the additional weight. This monitor is heavier than similarly sized ones and requires a setup that can accommodate the additional weight. While the sound bar is OK, I am used to better sound quality so was not overly impressed. The port capacity is a plus.

The collaboration monitor is super convenient and full of useful technology! The built in microphone, speakers and webcam works seamlessly with my Microsoft Teams program. This monitor is great awesome sound quality along with a crystal clear pop up camera. I like the large size it makes using spread sheets easier. The USBC charging ports is great for charging my phone while working. the convenience of an ethernet port is great especially when so many laptops now only feature wireless. the additional volume controls are more convenient than using the controls on a keyboard. I like the design it fits well with any decor.

I like this monitor. I love the built-in camera, speakers and Teams features. The camera that can be hidden so no need to put tape on the camera. Also, when the camera is away it auto disables the mic feature as well. USB-C charging is nice however my laptop required more than the 90-watts this can provide. The one thing that I dislike is that you cannot use USB-C and have this monitor using Display port multi-stream transport to a second monitor. The monitor is just blank.

Clear with good colors, the size works well for multiple applications open side by side. The built in camera is clear, and the ability to close it away when not is use is reassuring. The built-in dock helps to cut down on clutter. The speaker bar could be louder, and having more ability to aim the camera would be helpful, but those are minor inconveniences.

Speaker is incredibly clear and sounds from right side to left side are even and balanced.
I expecially like the popup Webcamera - enabled when popped up and automatically disabled when it is recessed. Touch controls for teams controls work well.
I would love to see improved touch controls or to see voice activation enabled controls in future release.
in and open office setting this would not be the best solution as calls would not remain private. As an at home workstation however this monitor would be fantastic.

This monitor is perfect for the remote user because it wraps a large monitor with great screen resolution with a camera, microphone, and speakers for conferencing. The field of view on the camera makes it useful for a small conference room as well.

Clear monitor with convenient buttons for volume control and MS Teams access
For video conferencing this monitor works well. The camera works well and is clear. The microphone appears to work well.
The only reason why it does not get 5 stars is the sound quality and volume are not great. The speakers are barely louder than the Latitude 5420 internal speakers and the quality is worse. It sounds almost as bad as a telephone call.

Great all in one!
I like how it eliminates the need for a docking station, is all encompassing with technology and has high end graphics. Having the camera built in as well eliminates an additional piece of hardware, which saves money in the long run! As of now, it works extremely well for what it was designed. The design of the monitor is clean, and the inclusion of the Teams functionality is an added bonus.

Another solid Dell monitor
As is usual with Dell monitors, the product is extremely solid. The packaging is always impressive (I wish TVs were shipped this well protected). The stand is great, little to no wobble, even on a standing desk. Picture quality for the camera and the screen are phenomenal.

Interesting but not for every day calls
Getting the correct output for speaker and camera has been off and on with Zoom. The camera resolution and lighting is not as good as a Logitech C920 and the lack of angle adjustment makes it impractical.

So far not impressed with this monitor. The sound bar does not give quality sound even after firmware upgrades. I would like to listen to music on it but I'm having troubles working around the poor quality. I think it is expectable if you are only doing teams meetings on it which I have done. Just heads up to the sound pros out there you might look elsewhere. Camera is great and I have had no complaints about the sound from the microphone.

Great monitor for today's remote workforce. The built in KVM switch allows the user to seamlessly switch between a home PC and perhaps a company laptop. No need to add any additional hardware as the cam, speaker, and microphone are all built in making it easy to collaborate with other team members in Microsoft Teams.

Not for laptops or bald heads
Came with DisplayPort cable. Do not have any DisplayPort ports to plug in - had to go get a HDMI cable. Industry needs to focus on just one standard (two at most)!
Cannot see ports on back of monitor - they are hidden up under the panel. Have to repeatedly push cable connector until by luck it goes in. Requires monitor flat and a flashlight to see.
Tiny red plastic tab sticking out of top of screen... Even going through the paper with pictures - did not realize the camera pops up, and after that, then you can remove it.
After the plastic is removed and the monitor is given to another user - they are not going to know a camera is even there as it blends in.
The knob for adjusting OSD settings is difficult to press directionally. There is barely any edge to catch your finger on.
Cannot adjust camera angle?? Camera is above top of head. Enjoy bald head reflections!
The Dell website says there is a camera but it does not list any specs anywhere. Had to go to 3rd party website to find out it's even a 1080p camera.
For a 1080p camera, quality is very poor. A 720p camera from an old laptop looks better. If you already have a laptop with a camera, this monitor provides no benefit.
60Hz refresh rate causes eye strain. This is very well known in the industry. 75Hz should be minimum.
27" screen is on the small side for 2560x1440. 32" is appropriate. Icons and text are very small unless custom settings are changed around (general users won't know how). 1440p is great but not really on this size of screen.
A silver base should not be used as it easily shows scratches. A laptop was placed on it as a test and the laptop scratched it noticeably the first time.
Audio in meetings will randomly distort badly - as if the speaker is blown
Windows volume control will not change monitor's speaker volume during meetings. You must go through multiple control panel screens to adjust it.
The stand has a lot of adjustability - very nice. Although if the table is barely bumped the screen flops around.
If I have a higher quality camera or a different microphone on the computer, this monitor keeps overwriting the Teams settings back to the monitor. This is very aggravating as I have to tell people in video conferences this dell monitor taking over is why it's not working.

We use it in our conference room for staff to hook it up with their laptops
As an IT guy we installed this conference monitor in a small conference room to let staff hook it up with their laptops temporary when join an online meeting. The quick start guide helped us to find webcam/mic or to find the right ports hooking up mouse, keyboard and USB-C cable for ducking the laptops. It is easy to use and Microsoft Teams find the webcam/mic without issue. It is a high quality screen with docking ability and conference webcam/mic built-in for user to hook it up and use easily.

As a IT we setup this test monitor as a conference room monitor for out staff.
We got this monitor as a test model user from DELL to our company. We (IT set it up in one of our small conference room as a conference monitor and prepared it for regular staff to connect it with their own laptops for conference calls. The initial setup was easy and still we needed to refer the quick start sheet to find the correct ports. The ports on monitor are plenty and could confuse a user without enough knowledge about port types. The quick start sheet is needed as the marks on the ports are not very clear (like downstream to extra monitor). We need to test it to find out which right USB-C port can act as the docking port (the one on the back, not the front edge). We also figured out to pop the webcam and Mic to stand out from hidden inside of Monitor and we decided to let webcam stay as standing out because a regular staff might not find it hidden.
Once the initial setup completed it is easy to use. A user with Latitude DELL laptop can just hook up the USB-C docking ports and get every thing working (Webcame, and a mouse and a keyboard connected to monitor) and begin the conference call easily. Microsoft Teams picked up the monitor and it devices without any issue.

The Dell 27" Video Conferencing Monitor is AWESOME!!!!
I really like this monitor. Its so much more then a monitor. I really like the kvm features and the built in webcam and mic. The graphics are amazing on my 27" system. The speaker system sounds great while I'm on my Teams meeting and listening to online content. I wish the pop-up webcam was motorized with a button somehow. Even though the webcam is solid and well made, I'd feel better not having to manually push it down when not in use. I'm going to start offering this monitor to my executives as a option for replacing there current monitors.

Definitely recommend the monitor especially in a hybrid work environment. The camera and sound bar functionality works pretty well. The ability to hide the pop up camera is a bonus. The only downside is you have to have the camera popped up if you want to talk which isn't a big deal. The monitor can also be used as hub which comes in handy if you work on a laptop. Overall great monitor !!

We use these displays primarily with Mac computers. We like the integrated camera/microphone. I get reports there sometimes is latency with connecting the laptop to the monitor. I also am told the speaker quality can be improved. Overall it works great for our needs.

Terrific Feature-Rich Monitor
This monitor is better than I expected when I bought it - and I had high expectations. I got it to see if we could potentially eliminate the need for docking stations at my company and just issue the monitor as a Remote Employee all-in-one package (camera, speaker, monitor, dock). It fits this use-case perfectly. Here is how I would summarize it:
Pros:
- Spacious anti-glare display
- Feature rich (DP output, 90w power output, lots of ports)
- Ability to connect multiple devices and work as a KVM
Cons:
- Can't adjust camera angle and it's a tall lens
- Switching between devices works 90% of the time; sometimes requires reboot
- Requires driver and firmware update to iron out some of the bugs. Makes wide-scale deployment more challenging
Overall I am very happy with this monitor and would definitely recommend it to others.

The C2722DE is clear, bright, feature rich monitor.
Not only is the picture great looking like most UltraSharp monitors, but this thing has so many connection ports - even a DisplayPort out. Yep - go ahead, connect that second monitor. You want to connect a second computer and use it as a KVM? Go right ahead.
It has a built-in microphone and camera that tucks away for privacy. The certified Teams rating brings along some touch features for use with the app. Overall a pretty slick offering!

Massive improvement over pervious model, great value, highly recommend
Dell has improved their docking technology that they have built into their monitors. I can finally say that I 100% recommend these for the average worker. While they say it does not support devices above 90W of charging, it does work if you aren't consuming the resources those devices have. Great way to condense already busy desk space, and a great value for those that buy docks, webcams, and soundbars for all their laptops.

Monitor Assist is Great
Picture and sound are great, although the microphone quality on Zoom is useless. However, the Monitor Assist utility is fantastic. It divides this large screen into 2-4 work spaces that are sized well and easilly adjustable. The net result is I am using all of this screen space effectively instead of wasting much because it is so large.

The monitor seems to be a bit buggy, but overall, I do love it.
They should have opted for a 4k camera... the camera quality is somewhat poor in my opinion.
The speakers sound very shallow and only good for conferencing... even after the firmware update, I continually have issues with them.
Updating the firmware was a pain... or I have an issue with my monitor. It took 7 tries to get the firmware update to take. It kept failing to install.
Using this monitor as your dock, has a limitation too. It is only compatible with 1 additional monitor, meaning I had to buy a USB video adaptor to add in a 3rd monitor to this.
This Dell monitor does sit proudly as the center piece to my desk, but still seems like it could use some improvement.

I love this monitor!
I've been using this monitor as my primary monitor for several months. It works great! The camera could benefit from a swivel and tilt mechanism and be upgraded to a 4K but what is there works okay. the built-in speaker bar is phenomenal! I use it with a notebook and occasionally MS Teams gets confused on which mic/speaker to use but that's easily cleared up by choosing the correct device in Teams or a smiple re-boot also works.

Great video, camera, mic; poor-sounding speakers
Overall I'm really happy with this monitor, in spite of one flaw. I've been using a Dell 21" video conferencing monitor for over 15 years, through two PCs. It was 1080p, good in its day. Stepping up to higher resolution gave me a crisper, more detailed picture, as I expected, but it's also much brighter, more responsive, with far better contrast and more vivid colors. It's literally night and day.
The camera is much better too, and putting the camera and mics in a pop-up module that turns them off when you push them out of sight was a big advance
Now for the flaw. The old monitor did not have integrated speakers. This new one does. I was hoping they'd be good enough that I could get rid of my desktop speakers. No such luck. The built-ins sound harsh and tinny, and distort badly when you turn up the volume. They're worse than the cheap clock radio in a cut-rate motel. My cell phone speakers blow them away for quality and intelligibility. Maybe that's why they're off by default when the monitor arrives -- Dell knows nobody will want to use them. Turn them on and try them out -- you'll turn them right off again. It's the one disappointment in an otherwise outstanding product.

Great 1440P Conferencing/Teams focused display
The C2722DE is a solid choice for the modern workforce that is often meeting virtually. I found the 1080P pop-up camera significantly better than the camera included on my executive laptop, with better light sensitivity meaning I no longer need to search out additional lighting to not appear sickly or washed out when meeting online. I also appreciate the ease of which the camera can be tucked away, and that it disconnects from the system when not deployed, so users can be confident they aren't accidentally streaming. I also like that the camera functions for Windows Hello facial recognition, enabling more secure logins.
The Audio is solid for web conferencing, voices are clear and understandable, but a bit lacking for music reproduction, which is reasonable for a device targeted at the buiness user. There is a convienent audio plug if you wish to plug in higher quality headphones for privacy or enjoying music.
Finally, the Teams specific buttons on the soundbar are a good addition, while I am not sure how often I will use them; I love having a clear mute indicator.

Great 'all in one' monitor to minimize cabling. Webcam is superb, speakers are clear and crisp, and there are a ton of video options, so if you are like me and use your computer to work, watch videos, and design, this is the perfect one for you. The IPS panel is gorgeous and easy on the eyes.

The video is fine, but as a conferencing monitor, not recommneded at all. The audio sounds tin-ey. The camera qualit is not good either. The worst of it, I cannot control the volume, still cannot figure out. Tried so many things, but cannot control it. Very dissapointing.

The quality of the monitor is very good and crisp. The pop up camera and microphone is nice to have if you do a lot of conference calls or meetings, and all you have to do is push it back down and it is hidden away. The quality of the camera is as good as any webcam out there. The microphone is also good and no one ever had issues hearing me. The built in speaker is good for conferences but not good for listening to music. I did run in to issues a couple of times with my computer not recognizing the microphone but after unplugging and plugging a few things in, I got it to work.
Overall this item has meet my expectations and has performed its duties well. I would Recommend.

A much needed integration of hardware that has proven to be a vital setup in the past couple of years due to the amount of work-from-home users who spend most of their time in virtual meetings. This setup minimizes space as well as provides an organized and professional looking configuration for any office or home office setting. From monitor quality to camera resolution, this is one of the best out there when it comes to all-in-one setups. Definitely recommended!

This monitor is for the user who struggles to setup video conferencing equipment
The monitor successfully incorporates the webcam, microphone and speaker into a single device. The webcam is above average in quality of picture on external caller's computer. I opened multiple Team sessions over a couple days and the device settings are retained even after disconnecting and reconnecting monitor. I was hoping to use the KVM option but it appears only the 34" model supports it. For a all-in-one unit, the C2722DE performs well. As always, the monitors checks all the boxes but it will not be the best individual microphone, webcam and speaker.

Dell C2722DE: Extend Your Home Office to the Maximum
The C2722DE 27" monitor is an excellent addition to any setup, especially for those outfitting a home office. The integrated camera solves the problem of participating in Teams meetings in semi-profile while using a main screen.
The monitor has a solid feel, with an articulated monitor stand allowing the user to find the perfect position without the need for additional elevation. With speakers and Teams integration included in a fabric-wrapped base around the bottom gives an overall look of a wall-mounted television and soundbar.
As for the picture quality, the 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution provides a crisp, illuminated picture which looks fantastic in any lighting situation and a variety of angles. The color pallete and depth provided a top-notch viewing experience, and the refresh rate made watching videos in full screen mode and immersive experience.
The Teams integration was simple to use, with no issues picking up either the camera, microphone, or speakers.
Overall, The C2722DE is a more than capable monitor, delivering amazing functionality and great value.

Good screen resolution and quality product. The only reason for marking down is the speaker quality isn’t great. I be to turn it all the way up to hear people. I was hoping the camera would be flush with the monitor and not a pop up. You also need to have this up for the mic, even if you’re not using the camera function. Would probably just look at a USB C docking station monitor only and purchase the other items seperate

Not recommended. Poor design and cheap parts makes this conference monitor unusable for my WFH needs.
Pros: Good price and decent picture quality; combination monitor, speaker, mics, and webcam.
Cons: Very poor sound quality, occasional Teams conference freezing, occasional shrieking sounds for no reason, shrieking sounds when attempting to multitask and another application plays sound, monitor leans just slightly to one side with no way to fix. Too few USB ports, needs 1-2 more to be useful.
Detail: Used with new Dell XPS 17 laptop and new Dell 130-watt Thunderbolt dock. Random Teams conference issues I've never had before with old system. Webcam, image, and sound freeze for 5 to 10 seconds intermittently. Not a network issue. Does not happen when using laptop only for Teams call. Happens at least once every 15 minutes on average. Occasionally loud shrieking sound with no way to resolve except disconnect from Teams call. Noticed similar shrieking sound when attempting to multi-task while on Teams call and another program plays a sound. In Windows you will see multiple speakers, thus you have to adjust sound in two places. It's like Teams calls bypass normal sound processes. Even with all sounds turned to maximum in all places certain people's voices are not understandable. Others are too loud on the flip side. But generally sound quality/volume is poor/low. My 3-year-old dot with clock is 2 to 3 times better for sound quality and they are basically given away for free. Also, was not a problem with my 5-year-old competitors 230-watt dock with conference add-on. It’s a shame that had whoever manufactures this item for Dell could have spent another $25 to $50 in parts and gotten better sound quality and a webcam that has low light sensitivity and face tracking. Dell could have charged $150 more, and it would be flying off the shelves in record numbers after people who WFH full-time hear about it. But alas the only option for decent quality conferencing while WFH is to purchase discrete webcams and speaker systems. I ended up returning and buying a Alienware gaming monitor, Dell Ultrasharp 4k webcam and the Logi Dock and am happy now. But part of me still knows there is a way to engineer this into a combination monitor, but no one seems willing to do such.

Best WFH monitor I have had
This is a great looking monitor with a TON of space for all my icons and apps to be open at the same time. The quality is really nice on the eyes. I can look at this monitor for hours and not strain my eyes. Super happy to be able to work from home on this great monitor.

Dell 27 Video Conference Monitor
Monitor is a nice size without being overwhelming. Very clean lines with almost a zero bezel. Very nice adjustments in height, swivel, and angel. The hidden pop-up video camera and microphone are a nice feature. I think they could improve on the speakers and give more sound adjustment. Not just volume. I could not find anywhere how to adjust the base and tremble. I listen to music while I work and found the sound a little "tinny". But maybe I just need to find a different driver or firmware for the speakers. Otherwise a great product.

Much more than just a monitor
This monitor is much more than just a monitor. Its screen is big and bright, but that's just the beginning. It also functions as a high end, multi-purpose docking station. By connecting the included USB-C connector to my laptop, it functioned as the video cable, as a full power charger, and as a hub for an Ethernet connection, external speakers, my keyboard and mouse, and whatever other USB-C or USB-A devices I might connect to it. Its built-in speakers are much better than those in my previous 27" monitor. It also includes an integrated webcam on top of the screen. Press it and it pops up and is enabled. Press it back down, and it is disabled. This is a nice feature, to avoid the camera-looking-up-my-nose I experience from using some laptop's integrated cameras.

Microphone doesn't pick up my voice if Iean back in my chair. Lots of compatibility issues using this with Google Meet. I can't figure out how to lower the brightness level.

This monitor does it all and it keeps the minimalistic style in mind. If you have a home PC and a work PC this will switch between both with ease. The webcam quality is great for meetings and when not in use can be stowed away in the unit. The mic was very clear even in loud chat environments. The speaker bar was plenty loud and had good audio clarity. Overall, this unit is a great addition to a desk for anyone that likes to keep cabling to a minimum and has a good-looking setup that is also functional.
Now for the cons which may be more personal preference, but they are still noticeable to me. If you are used to a monitor with a high refresh rate that makes movement and video smooth, then this would be one setback of this monitor. I have come accustomed to using high refresh rate monitors because I am in front of them for work and personal use. I would say this is definitely not going to perform both tasks, but functions great as a work monitor, dock, webcam, and speaker solution all in one. This is however a perfect unit for a secondary monitor if you have a high-performance main gaming monitor already.

Crisp clean monitor and easy on the eyes. Camera is average and mic it not sensitive enough. All the ports work great and come in handy. Right now we are using for our huddle rooms for small groups which works great in this instance. Not recommended for larege room with alot people.

Nice monitor. Easy enough to unbox and set up. Solid base, with a swivel joint allowing rotation in all directions. Colors and brightness are sufficient. There is a camera pops out of the top and is disabled when hidden.

The Dell C2722DE - a welcome addition to my desk.
A welcome addition to my desk - the Dell C2722DE is a solid monitor. A solid QHD screen with vibrant colors and sharp resolution. Makes me want to upgrade my other monitors. While 60hz won't win any awards for gaming, it is more that sufficient for the home office monitor that it is.
When you put that together with the included home office features, the result is a very functional desk with less clutter. The speakers are very clear, and the noise cancelling microphone work extremely well for clear communication. The IR camera works great for Windows hello and for video conferencing and it tucks out of the way when not in use. My only criticism of the camera is that it is not height-adjustable - in order to center the user in the camera, you have to tilt the entire monitor (or have an adjustable office chair). The numerous ports for connectivity, including the 90W USB C connector, allow you to remove the dock from the desk as well.
It's sleek design and high build quality make the Dell C2722DE a great addition to my desk (and allows me to remove some of the clutter as well).

Love this monitor. That I can connect it to my laptop with one single USB-C connection for charging, video, camera, and mic is fantastic. Has other standard connections as well. It is also great to be able to control audio level, mute microphone and start Teams as well.

great graphic, pixels are good reliable, I have 3 monitors , 2 are Mac and 1 Dell. You cant tell anydifference in quality the dell is every bit as good as the Macs

A quality monitor that does it all for a great value
We are finally moving into the world of a 27" personal monitor that does it all. The extra real estate provided by QHD (2560x1440) is a breath of fresh air over the old 24" 1920x1200 displays, without it being overwhelming. Previously, I had upgraded from a 24" to a 40" Dell monitor, but the 40" is just too big to be used as a personal monitor. I'm loving this 27" and it's the perfect size to efficiently have several windows open. Dell adds a convenient pop-up high definition camera, speakers, and microphone to make turn your desktop into full multimedia without needing anything add-ons. And it comes with every connectivity feature you can imagine to make life simple without needing any adaptors.
Picture is crystal clear. The front buttons to control volume, microphone, phone, and Microsoft Teams is a very nice feature. They are clearly labeled and easily accessible on the front, not some hidden buttons on the bottom or side panels like the old days!
This is really a quality monitor that does it all at a great value!

This is a very good quality monitor and typical of Dell's quality. I gave it 4 starts because the documentation to set it up is very skimpy and it took 2 calls and the purchase of a cable in order to get it up and working. It would not work with the HDMI cable I used for my not-so-old 27" LG monitor. The 2nd call was to get the sound working because of lack of documentation - like a manual.

Declutter your life - Great all in one display
Testing the display on an AlienWare x17 r1 laptop attached to a Dell WD19 dock and compared against an older 27" non-Dell display. Overall, a very nice display for conferencing. Display is very sharp and clean - no perceived refresh issues - looks very bright and stable. Tested on USB-C, HDMI, and DP with great success.
Display comes with a pop-up camera and mic. Picture is a little grainy if you go full screen with a high resolution, but in a conferencing situation with several different participants, that's not so much an issue. A key feature was microphone distance - was able to test mic out to 8' and it came out clear, even at distance, where most PC mics require you to be 12-18" or closer to get intelligible sound. The speakers are small as they are in the sound bar below the display. Audio sounded much the same as canned audio from a basic quality laptop - good highs and mids - but no lower end bass response. As far as downsides go, that would be the only one for this unit.
I liked the hub features of the display - extra USB ports and a network port on-board is definitely good in taking the pressure off of my dock. Packing some options into this device to make it versatile for either a desktop display or use in places like a small conference room.
If you consider needing a display with camera, mic, speakers, the price point is not that bad off - which is a good justification for dropping these on company workstation situations.

Fuzzy Display and Poor Camera makes this a No-Go
I thought this would be a great monitor, but was disappointed. The camera is zoomed out quite a bit compared to other cameras and there is no adjustment. My image is quite a small part of the video and is not good quality, even compared to a built-in camera on a laptop.
Also, I have a similar Dell monitor, non video-conferencing, next to this one and it's clear the video quality on this monitor is poor. It's quite fuzzy and hard to read in comparison. That, combined with the poor camera quality would make me rate this as "don't buy".

Great conferencing monitor, power is lacking.
The features on the monitor are great. Love that it is Microsoft certified and has the tie in with teams and the teams button on the speaker. The sound is good, and the resolution of the monitor is great. Only thing that I would change is having the monitor provide more power to the laptop. I run a higher end precision laptop that requires more power. Other than that, this monitor is amazing.

This monitor is pretty solid. I am a fan of the sturdy stand, and the amount of display options it has. The built in speaker is a nice touch, along with its sleek design. The only thing I am confused/ curious about is why this monitor has a ethernet port. I may be missing something with this monitor, and why it has an ethernet port, but I feel like it is not needed. If it is needed for something I missed, then fine, but I would remove it, and replace it with another USB 3.0, or remove it entirely. With that being said, it seems like a solid monitor.

Dell 27” conferencing monitor
These monitors with built in sound bar, touch controls and pop up webcam integrated into the monitor are a great value and designed flawless. Looks much better than clipping a webcam to the top of the monitor as an add on device.
