Needed third party cloning enclosure to work
Also, no good instructions on how to use Crucials' Acronis cloning software,
i fingered it out, but it should have been better explained, AND, had the enclosure offered

Works well, once I got it installed and configured.
Replaced the existing SSD in my laptop. Only 4 stars because it was not made clear to me during ordering process that I'd need an adapter to clone my old disk because my laptop had only one port.

the nvme protocol let have the best experience of the workflow, however, can be the sata port can be sharing a lane of m.2 port, or some more low speed to 2400MBytes/s and no to 3500MBytes/s.

Not up to Crucial's standards
I have been a loyal fan of Crucial SSD's for years as I produce large image datasets for my work. This is my first time having a problem with any of their drives. It arrived not working with a fatal hardware error when I tried to format the disk. After filing for a warranty replacement with Crucial, I had to pay my own shipping to send the drive to them. I just received the replacement and it has the same fatal hardware error. This process has taken a month and I still do not have the extra TB of storage I need for my latest backup. I will be switching to Samsung SSDs from now on. Very disappointed with the quality control and customer service.

Product failed within 3 months of installation
Product worked perfectly for just around 3months after installation. Stopped working midway during a video call on my desktop. Tried running CHKDSK and tried formatting, but OS does not identify it.
