Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect to upgrade older Mac Mini I upgraded an older Mac Mini that had a 500GB HDD with this 240GB SSD, was a lengthy teardown on the Mac Mini but the performance afterwards was very worth it, was for my elderly mother who really did not require a new computer yet so this upgrade allows her to run Latest OS quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SSD is fast enough to boot up my PC. Back in the day I used HDD, it took 1 to 2 minutes to boot up. This SSD saved my life by speeding up the boot up time to 15 to 30 secs. I also use Ubuntu on this device and it works pretty well. I am a nerd myself so I installed gsmartcontrol (similar to CrystalDiskInfo on Windows) to see device statistics and benchmarking. Sadly, this product does not have device statistics and Error logging unlike Crucial's MX SSD so I cannot tell if my drive is failing or not. I have been using this product for about a year and it still good.

This was the first flash drive I've ever had and I can't believe how much faster my drive is not only on boot but opening up apps as well. This drive brought my old T510 back to life which is important because I can't afford a new one.

I bought this disk for myself and found out that it was too good for me as it had 80 TBW and after 8 months of using it I only have written 3.6 TBW. Great disk, I recommend buying it if you want to upgrade your old computer to the next level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't need an adapter... Worked fine for my Toshiba laptop. An adapter casing was recommended to add 2 mm's of thickness to insure a snug fit. I did not purchase one and it was not needed for mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Revived my old Dell Latitude D630 Laptop I purchased this inexpensive SSD to see if I could squeeze a few more years of use out of an old Dell Latitude D630 laptop that was being crushed by Windows 10. Hard drive activity was constant and boot up was 10 minutes. Loading applications or web browsers took minutes making the laptop virtually unusable. With this Crucial SSD the laptop now boots up in less than a minute and programs load in a few seconds. Awesome drive!

The bios did not recognize the drive at all. Disappointing. I'm sure the drive is fine, but I purchased it on Crucial's word that it would work.
