The UCS C240 M4 LFF server is the 2-socket, 2U rack server from Cisco, designed for both performance and expandability over a wide range of storage-intensive infrastructure workloads from big data to collaboration.
The enterprise-class UCS C240 M4 SFF server extends the capabilities of Cisco's Unified Computing System portfolio in a 2U form factor with the addition of the Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 series processor family that delivers the best combination of performance, flexibility and efficiency gains. In addition, the UCS C240 M4 LFF server provides 24 DIMM slots, 6 PCI Express (PCIe) 3.0 slots, 12 front-loading LFF drives plus two internal SFF SATA boot drives for a total of 14 internal drives.
