SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT
This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.
SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• The device required for install will be unboxed.
• The device will be thoroughly inspected for physical damage or blemishes.
• Any defective components will be replaced from CDW’s inventory.
• The system will be updated to the latest/approved Chrome OS release by performing full update to latest stable channel release version at time of configuration.
• The device will be enrolled to the customer’s domain by performing Enterprise enrollment and validation.
• The device will have network configuration settings verified (Wi-Fi SSID and Pre-Shared Key) for network policy fetching.
• The device will receive the customer approved Laser Etch on the customer specified location.
• All configurations undergo a comprehensive Quality Control process.
• The successfully configured device will be re-boxed for shipment.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Customer will purchase a Chrome Management license.
• Customer will create a Chrome Admin Management account in Google Admin Console
• Customer will create a dedicated enrollment user account
• Customer will create a Limited Admin user account
• Customer will complete CDW Chrome White Glove Service questionnaire.
• Customer will send in a high resolution image or preferably vector-based for the best etching results (.eps, .ai, etc.). We can etch plain text as well; provided that we have the desired font on file (most basic Windows fonts are available).
• Customer will first need to approve the graphic demo before we can etch the first article.
• Customer will receive and approve the etching on one (1) unit before we can move forward with any other orders. (Please note that any etched product is non-returnable)
• A filed CDW Laser Etching Indemnity Agreement is required. (Link: http://www.cdw.com/forms/indemnity/laseretching.aspx)
ASSUMPTIONS
• Seller will have the laser etching template uploaded and stored on secure database server.
• Seller’s Account Manager will create install configuration and include service EDC(s).
• Seller’s Account Manager will enter specific any additional instructions in to the Installation Notes on the order
OUT OF SCOPE
• Installation of a dynamic laser etch design.
• Installation of laser etch on reflective material covered device.
• Installation of laser etch on server.
• Creation of a custom laser etching template. See EDC 1461330.
• Configuration of any network settings.
• Move device to customer defined sub organizational unit.
• Data capturing.
• Installation of an asset tag on the device.
• Installation of software application.
• Installation of any hardware components.
• Any performance tuning, system optimization or similar activities.
• Performing any Services not specified herein.
SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order
PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
• Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties
CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)
