The 20.0 Megapixel CCD sensor and powerful processor work together to help ensure detailed images with minimal noise, even when there's not a lot of light. You can also capture video memories in high quality. Smart AUTO mode analyzes the image and figures out the ideal settings to help you capture eye-opening pictures, and if you want to add some personal flair, Scene modes make it easy to add the look of different filters and lenses.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from batte camera comes with a USA charger the same size as the camura. went overseas and the battery died ,charger wouldnt work, odd battery that no one has ,thinking the USB port should charge it, it doesnt, WHY didnt they put in a simple USB battery charger, now I miss my old A1000IS that I could get AA batterys at any store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I own an EOS system but needed a small camerawomen with high quality capacity. So I drive a luxury model but needed a great utility model. Well the picture quality is was I expected. Not a fancy as the EOS but has the quality I need. Clarity on enlargements is important. With 20 MP I get that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right! This is the camera I take camping and backpacking. Its rechargeable battery lasts a long time and it's easy to tuck in a waterproof bag to keep moisture, dirt, and sand out of it. It connects to my computer just fine with a USB cord or I can take the memory card out and pop it in a card reader. My photos have been great -- good, even color, nice contrast. The zoom allows me to get photos of lizards and other small animals without upsetting them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best camera I have had this camera over a year. I like the small size but I've been disappointed with the pictures. Each time I take a picture there seems to be a pale area in the middle of the picture. I have cleaned the lenses, etc. It still happens. I usually have good luck with Canon, but not in this case. Also, it is very difficult to close the cover over the battery and card.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from PowerShot no way to connect to Sierra I'm very disappointed with the wifi connection software for the Mac OS. I've wasted many many hours trying to connect this camera to my Mac and I think there is absolutely no way to do it. Very frustrating
