ZINK stands for "Zero Ink" printing technology. Instead of ink, it uses colorful dye-based crystals embedded inside the paper. Before printing, the embedded dye crystals are clear so ZINK paper looks like regular, white photo paper. The ZINK-enabled device uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals.

I was excited about the concept of this product but after testing the product the excitement went away. This product reminds me of a modern day disposable camera. The quality of the prints are low and the size of prints are too small for this to be considered as a camera I would use on vacation or anywhere I would actually like to capture memories.

It is the same price and allows you to print better quality photos taken from your phone. And, because it prints phone pictures – you can actually choose pictures you like and edit them to your liking before you print.Pros:+ Takes a digital copy of the image that prints (if a Micro SD card is inserted)+ The most recently taken picture can be reprinted with one button press – this allows you to share identical photo pictures with friends+ Photo prints are actually stickers+ Photos are thin and stick well, but can also generally be peeled off of surfaces without causing damage+ Only 50 cents per picture (as compared to classic Polaroid pictures which cost 2 dollars each)+ Zinc Photo Paper is not sensitive to light (in the same way as film). This means you can open the back of the camera without worry of ruining film.+ No ink or development chemicals to worry about+ Allows double exposure prints (Simply re-load a picture back into the camera and take a 2nd picture that prints over top of the first. It offers no tactile feedback and it is very easy to accidentally take a picture (which is a waste of 50 cents).- Camera does not have a screen- Photo resolution is only 5 megapixels- Camera does not have any indication of how many pictures are left (although you can take the paper out and count the sheets)- Flash is automatic only and cannot be manually turned on or triggered- Flash only turns on in very dark conditions- Once the camera is powered off, it can no longer re-print the last image that was taken (even when the image is saved on a memory card)- Image quality on the Zinc Photo Paper is fairly poor (this seems to be related to the 5 megapixel resolution of the camera)- Water eats through the top layer of the photo paper destroying the image underneath. If rain touches an image, or if liquid is spilled on a photo – they will be ruined. Keep in mind, these are stickers – so they may end up on notebooks or other areas that kids might splash or get wet.- The back of the stickers are difficult to peel away (there should be a slit on the back of the paper – instead of needing to be peeled at the corners)- No battery indicator- Does not include a Micro SD memory card- The cost of Zink photo paper is the same price regardless of the quantity you buy (50 cents per 2x3 inch sheet)

The pictures prints out seconds after being taken and although it's small the quality is pretty good. It's convenient that the pictures are on sticky paper and came in handy for a school project. My kids really enjoyed using this camera. It wouldn't replace a digital camera but it's fun to use. The replacement photo papers are a little expensive.

I first tried out this camera at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. The prints are better and more shaped than the instant film. However, he careful when using it when it’s brightly sunny and there are no clouds in the sky and of course when it’s too dark out. Nice camera to quickly print a memory.

I absolutely love the design of it and especially love the ring light which makes all of your selfies looks good. What's even better is the fact that it prints out such solid photos. I am a really big fan of this instant camera printer. It is easy to use, so you can take so many great photos with it. It looks great and it is the perfect size that way you can travel with it with ease. The best part of all this is that its a Canon! A brand known and one that I definitely trust with my photos and memories. I will be telling everyone I know about this product and I strongly recommend you purchase one today. They make great gifts for birthdays or Christmas or just a "I was thinking about you". You wont be disappointed.

I love the design of the camera and it’s size, which makes traveling with it a breeze. The printed photos that come out are great quality as well. All in all, a great little camera that is super fun to use and bring out at parties.

I waited to use it until my trip the following week to Chicago. A couple people at the airport told me they were eyeing at online and best buy and I made then want to try it out because of how much fun my friend and I played with it.So let's start with the pros!Pros: •it's a great size•super cute for any aesthetic(ie: church, Coachella lol! The duality of it all)• the pictures are STICKERS!!!•can fit in a small clutch•the pics come out pretty crisp for a instant camera•everyone who I showed loved it!Now for the cons. There aren't too many so there's no real need to bullet point. There were only two features that I didn't like... the pics came out too slow, it often made me think that i didnt take the picture properly and the power button and the shutter button are just too close! I took so many blooper pics just trying to shut it off. Overall the camera is cute, compact, perfect for just about any age. I love it for the most part. Once I get the hang of the button placement I can take some more photos around town!

The instructions and set up on how to use it were simple. The photo quality is actually really good and you instantly have your small little photos in hand!! You can take pictures very easily and it has Bluetooth to print pictures from a smartphone, too.

You can add emojis and filters for fun. It also has a SD card slot. The remote shooting is great for groups. Perfect selfies taker has a mirror auto flash and a ring of lights. All this and it’s cute and the pictures turn out great. Such fun I definitely recommend.

I was surprised at how easy it was to use, and how fast it produced a photo. The only improvement that I would suggest would be the quality of the photo is a bit grainy. I use the camera for photo's that needed at work and did not have time to upload and print on a printer when we were on-the-go. I also used it at home to take photo's or artwork and valuables to keep our lock-box for insurance purposes. I would recommend this for anyone who needs instant photo's for on-the-go
