Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tray that holds printed pages is awkward. I love Canon products and this printer is fast! My only complaint is that the tray that holds the printed pages when they come out is awkward and seems like it would get backed up if you printed more than a few pages. Maybe I haven’t got it opened all the way, but I don’t think so!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Iffy wireless. Print quality is 1st rate. My problem(s has been with wireless. First problem is corrected, as it was too far from the router. My current problem, although I haven't called tech support yet (Easter weekend) is that the printer will not wake up from sleep when called upon to print. As soon as I iron out the 'iffy' wireless, my rating would be 5 stars. Odd, by the way, that this is called 'Mobile Ready'. It's quite large and heavy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scanner and printer so far so good! Working from home I use this printer and scanner multiple times every day. I get very good results with the scanner and like the app that controls the type and quality of the scans. The printer is really quick, I can print a document out while on the phone with the clients to make notes without having to delay of ask for them to "hold on while I print this out". The only issue with the printer is that about once every 2 weeks there is a error message on the screen first thing in the morning, I have to turn it off and back on, then I am good for about 2 weeks before doing this routine again, not a deal breaker by any means - just odd

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MF264dw replaces my 9 year old MF4450 Brought as a future replacement for a Canon MF4450 which i brought in 2011. It still works fine but makes funny noises sometimes and I was afraid it might fail when I really needed it. I set up the MF264dw made sure I can use every thing that it does it is excellent even has more functionality than the MF4450. It is currently off and on standby waiting in the wings for when I need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spent hours trying to make it work If you like to fix broken stuff, this is your choice. My husband spent couple hours trying to install all software for it. Finally it started to print something if you hardwire it. It can print stuff throu the network if you put it out of sleep mode, so basically if you are staying next to the printer. Well, next day I was trying to print something and driver was down, so I spent couple more hours to reinstalling driver and so on. Next day was same. At this point we didn't even try to connect it to the network, hardwire only, like in 1990's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Avoid this for anything but basic document printing Its fairly cheap, fast, and does a average job for document printing. For anything else though its very poor. Photos look like something out of the 90s with missing lines, grainy images etc. The settings are a complete maze of obscure named items, where the help description says the same things as the actual setting. When you look for any online help the manual that comes up shows things that are not even on the machine, making self help overly difficult.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and Simple I received this prodct in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I didn't know what to expect before receiving the printer. I have to say I was really impressed. The setup to get it online was a breeze. No problems. I don't think I'll need the fax, but just in case I ever would, I hooked it up as well. This printer is super fast, the copies are clear and overall just so simple to use. Everything about this printer is so user friendly you just want to use it. I haven't had any problems with it. I dont think I will either. For a home office or just to have a printer in the home this one is great. I have no complaints. Im not a techy person and everything to get it up and running went smoothly. I will highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No frills, reliable and simple printer. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The printer is bit tall — couple that with the need to lift the top lid open to make copies, and you are pretty much required to have this on a table top/ desk top. I love that the control panel easily angles outward. The way I have it positioned, I look down onto the printer and this feature makes it easy to read and operate the screen without having to crouch to eye level. The assembly was very simple. The instructions stressed that I shouldn’t plug in the USB until I installed the disc. My laptop doesn’t even have a CD drive, so I searched around for a few minutes looking for a downloadable driver. When I couldn’t find one, I thought i’d give it a try by plugging in the USB — what’s the worst that could happen? Well I’m glad I did because my laptop immediately setup the printer with no input from me! So it would seem that newer computers can handle the setup without the need for the CD! One thing to note is that this does not come with a printer USB cord. I happened to have one but I do always find it a hassle when I open a box and a required cord is not included. Having said that, I think many printers are this way. I just wish they’d include all necessary wires! One thing I like is the way the door opens to add paper. My old printer had a slide-out drawer on the base, which was problematic if I wanted my printer to sit on my carpeted floor. With this printer, the door flips down revealing the paper tray. I like this design! Simple and helpful. The quality is great. I’ve printed single sheets at a time as well as somewhat large jobs (~35 sheets and the print quality is always consistent and clean. Overall, my impressions are favorable. The printer has a speedy output and is quiet. Had I known that my computer would automatically connect, setup would have only taken about 3 minutes (or the time it takes you to plug in the two wires). I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a simple black laser printer without any frills or complex features. The only improvements I would suggest would be having a built-in WI-FI/router feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very fast printing! I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. My favorite feature: very fast printing/copying. Right when you turn on the printer it prints quickly The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. They provide pictures and the instructions are broken up into easy to understand sections. The printer is also very easy to install and easy to connect to any computer or phone/ipad device. Quality: The quality is great for speed of printing, and for ease of use. The quality of the photos is not high quality and the sharpness of the print color is dull. The printer is also louder than others I have used. Meeting expectations: Good printer if you don`t need extremely professional quality. Would be good for high volume printing. Improvements to make: make the printer quieter and ink color sharper Overall impression: the printer is nice looking, concise, it is on the larger side for a printer compared to other printers, prints quickly immediately and prints double-sided on its own without hesitation. It has a quiet mode that I didn`t find to help quiet the printer, but could defiantly be error on my part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient, quiet, easy to set up and use I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. This printer prints super-fast and I really love that it defaults to printing double-sided. Installation was easy (and it`s never been easy for me! and I was printing within 10-15 minutes of plugging it in. The hardest part for me was getting my wifi password correct. My favorite feature is the touch screen and again, double-sided printing. The product instructions are clear and again it was easy to assemble (remove taping, plugin, and connect to your network). This printer is more efficient than my current one - so much faster! My documents we clear and easy to read - excellent quality. I do wish it was more compact (I have a home office/limited space) but I also understand why it`s the size it is. Overall, it`s a great printer and I really appreciate the set-up was easy - I do OK tech-wise, but I am not an expert and love that it was up and running so fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Printer! I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The quality of the copies is very good. I appreciate the option of either placing the original on the platen glass or into the feeder. Multiple page documents worked well with the feeder. I am pleased with the scanning and faxing options, this printer does it all! The operational panel and instructions are easy to follow/very intuitive. In regards to set up, I did not do it myself but the person who did said it was easy to do. This printer definitely meets my quality expectations because the end product looks good and it's easy to use. I think my favorite part is probably the scan feature. I would highly recommend this printer to friends or family. My overall impression is very good - thumbs up!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look like it could be good but.... "I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I was excited to open this product and get started trying it! Package was designed nicely and inside was packed safely so the printer had not been damaged in transit. I was a but surprise by how large it is in size. Hard to find a space for itnin our tiny space of out small business but we eventually did. Set up was a little more complicated than I had e or red, but was oknonce finished. I did have to go online for a couple of the setup parts but all was well at the end. The printer intensely is sleek but big! Buttons are clear to see and push. I liked that it is a touch screen but took several times pushing the. Urtibs with my finger to get it to work. Decided to use a pen top that had been retracted and that worked much better! I wish I could tell you how it works, but unfortunately, I spent over an hour trying to figure out why every time I tried to print something out the paper jammed:(. I did however, like hat it gave step by step directions when things didn't go right, right on the touch screen. I was able tonfolllow those directions but it never worked. I tried every trouble shooting too offered on line and on the screen to no avail. I can't finish the review because it never worked, but here were some good positives as noted above. The negative part of this is the size (too big) and the rollers for the poet were not working like they should have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use, Inexpensive to Maintain I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. From the moment I opened the box, I found this printer easy to operate. The packaging allowed me, an out of shape 40yr old woman with a bad back, to easily remove the printer from the box. The unpacking instructions i.e. what tape needed to be removed both outside and inside the printer, were easy to follow. I was quickly able to connect to our home wifi network, and although it does come with a CD containing the user's manual & print drivers. I didn't need to use it. However, including a paper copy of the user's manual would be nice in future Canon Products. Using Cloud Printing, I can quickly print from my Chromebook, Android Phone, and HP Laptop. This printer came just in time for the launch of a new business, and has already proved it's worth, for scanning, printing, faxing, and copying large documents using the document feeder or the glass. Also, not dealing with expensive print cartridges is a HUGE money & business saver, as it seems those pesky cartridges tend to run out in the middle of a project deadline!!

I had no problems connecting it to both computers as well as my mobile device. The touch LCD screen is user friendly and easy to navigate. This printer is much faster than my old printer and the quality is great for black and white. It`s the right size and doesn`t take up to much space. I highly recommend this printer and look forward to using it on a daily basis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Overall, printer is amazing. I love how smooth the prints come out. Really good details. My favorite feature would be the touch screen feature. It is great being able to use a stylus and now just pushing a button. The instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow. The product assembly was very easy, especially since I connected via WiFi. Compared to my other printer and those I have purchased for my home office, this one is far superior. The print itself is so smooth and not blurred. This product far exceeds any expectation that I may have had for this printer or the brand. My only suggestion, unless I just haven’t located it, maybe including a stylus as an extra perk. My overall impression of this printer is that it is awesome. It fits my every printing need. Thank you so much.

When it works it prints quickly but if we don’t use it for a couple weeks, the power saving mode seems to drop the WiFi connection and won’t show up in s happens to us every couple of months. Then trying to figure out reconnecting the WiFi is miserable. We just wanted a simple printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It keeps dropping the wireless connection I bought this last year after having great results with other Canons and I am sorry that I did. About half the time I try to print, the printer can't be located. I have to turn the printer off and on again and then maybe it works. The most puzzling thing is that I will print something and a few minutes later I try to print the same thing or from the same application (Word for example, the printer can't be located.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Malfunctioning Printer I have had this printer for over two years. This printer jams non stop, no matter duplex or single sided. The LED screen goes into a hibernate freeze mode and would not come out no matter what. I have tried resetting the settings and the problem persists even though I have the latest's firmware updates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Falls short of plug and play. I have to turn this machine "off" then "on" from the "energy save" to print a document. I'm sure there is a setting for this someplace but I can not find it. That's "Cheap". My scan turns out under developed. So instead i photo and email with phone file and send. What a pain in the.... . Coming from a give away throw in "All in One" that performed these tasks without consideration I expected these simple features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WiFi = NoFi As a long time fan and user of the large Canon copy systems, I had expected the same level of quality and user experience, when I tried a Canon consumer level printer. I was astounded by the bad experience. The printer itself did a fine job, but it was the connectivity that was an issue. The WiFi absolutely would not work, going so far as taking down my stable network each time I tried to connect it. Additionally, it's drivers are generic and the mobile interface is rudimentary. HP, in this class of products, still makes a better machine, therefore, I will go back to HP for my office printers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD EXAMPLE OF A BAD PRODUCT AND COMPANY! I purchased this about 3 years ago to scan directly to my laptop, for ease of use, and for support. I have had nothing but. I never could get the scanner to work. The printer constantly disconnects from the network info and have to reenter the info. The latest issue is trying to use it with a new laptop with an updated driver for the unit. This driver does not work. Canon has failed to provide any support.
