Actually, this review is for the black ink cartridge, and I haven't had to use it yet. My printer was out of magenta ink, and that's the only one I had to replace. I ordered all the others so I would have them when I ran out. I'm very pleased with my Brother printer, except that I must run the program to clean the cartridges when I haven't used it for a while. However, it is a great printer--and the ink has lasted a long time.
