Didn't protect well
I bought this unit a year or two ago to protect two computers in my office. Neither uses a lot of power so I thought this would do the trick. A couple of days ago we had our first power outage since I've had it and it didn't fare well. Although one computer seems to be fine, the other's power supply got fried and had to be replaced. I guess I should be happy that it wasn't worse, but still. I think I'll be looking into upgrading.

Didn't protect at all
I bought this three months ago, the day after I bought entirely new computer parts ($1000 worth), and I figured everything would be fine, as this had decent reviews online. We had a brief power outage here yesterday and now my PSU is dead. I'm really not impressed, and kind of surprised, as I've used plenty of Belkin products in the past with few to no problems. I'll be upgrading and getting a UPS to prevent this from happening going forward.

Three years strong
I purchased a couple of these on Amazon a few years ago. We have regular outages in our area as they are updating the outdated grid system in our area. The electric company is notorious for saying they will notify in advance, but they never fail to omit that step. We run a home office, both my husband and I. We are both using these power strips for our PC's, monitors, and large format printers. We have not had any issues with them not protecting our investment and livelihood.
I came to the site today hoping it was available in a 12' as we are adding new equipment and need the extra footage. The new model doesn't have the same swivel at the wall feature which we have to have.

An Excellent Surge Suppressor
This surge suppressor leaves plenty of area around each outlet for power transformers which is very nice. The outlet count is good too. Their are eight which supports a computer, two monitors, a USB hub, and then four for everything else. It also provides a wall mount option to keep if off the floor if desired.

I like that fact it has multiple connections that are suitable for small to large outlet connections, spacing between each are more than adequate.
