Rated 5 out of 5 by from False Advertising - Going back to Gskill Memory after this I wasted more time than I should have trying to get this garbage product's RGB working right. The actual RAM works great - but it doesn't work with MSI Mystic light. It also doesn't work with Crucial's own control software...... I found that software made by ASUS is the only way to control this RAM - and the issue has been documented for over 3 months now - with a promised fix "coming soon" If you are still within your return period and you have issues - I would advise to return it now. They ALREADY consider this an outdated product line and are not likely to spend more money updating it just because they messed up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible It was a good price for the ram but, I got them and ever since the first day I built my PC the RGB has been really buggy and not working. Sometimes the ram will be slower than branded when it is clocked at the advertised speed. The RGB software is not easy to use and now just does not work on my PC. It worked when I first got it but now it wont even open. I don't know what is wrong but it started with it being normal, then to randomly going red, to the RGB software only working 50% of the time, to now not working at all. Wasted my money and really disappointed.

I purchased with msi b560 mag torpedo mobo, intel i5 11 gen, new power supply, and four extra fans. thermal performance monitored by hardware metrology reflects consistent temp of 25C, which is ideal and probably only possible because of the dope heat sinks.. come a long way from intel Pentium and groundbreaking builds with 2 gb ram, which seemed excessive at the time..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I haven't had any issues Never had issues since day one of having this kit. Performs to spec given after you change its default settings in Bios. I plan to buy and kit for the whole 32 gig set. And I hope they live up to the ones I have now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would not buy this again due to broken RGB control The RGB control doesn't work at all with MSI Mystic Light. This is a known issue that many users report having on forums/reddit. Crucial isn't doing anything to fix this issue. I regret buying 2 sets of this ram because they randomly flashy colors in no sort of pattern. I worry I'll have a seizure because there is no way to control the RGB function with MOD Utility or MSI Mystic Light. I've talked to Crucial customer support and community support on various forums. I'm using the latest BIOS version on a MSI B550 Gaming Edge Wifi motherboard and 2 sets of this ram. Clean instal of Windows 10 and MOD Utility doesn't work allow RGB control. I've reinstalled/restarted/checked for updates so many times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Compatible with Mystic Light The RBG on these RAM sticks CANNOT be controlled by Mystic Light, and may be completely uncontrollable with an MSI motherboard altogether (YMMV). This is a known issue that has been documented for months, with no indication of a fix ever coming (just Google around and you'll find other forums of people experiencing this issue). It is irresponsible and borderline fraudulent for Crucial to advertise these as compatible with Mystic Light. I also tried installing Crucial's MOD utility software for controlling RGB, but the program won't even open on my PC (others seem to have some success with MOD so your mileage may vary). So I'm essentially just stuck with the default rainbow RGB setting on these sticks. I will be forced to return them and go with another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MOD app horribly buggy The ram itself is great. The MOD app controlling the lights is horribly buggy. Now the lights of a 3 days old ram kit does not work even after reinstalling the app. Why do you offer rgb kits if you cannot provide a means to let them actually work??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use ASUS AURASYNC to control the RGB lighting Been using ASUS AuraSync to control just the RGB on these sticks since day 1... Funny enough, this is on a Gigabyte X570 Master mobo... Crucial and Gigabyte's utilities were useless but AuraSync has worked fine! Set and forget :) Performance-wise the DIMMs have been fine for me (using 3600 2x16gb kit)
