Reliable Rack Power Distribution with Individual Outlet On/Off Control

APC Switched Rack PDUs distribute reliable rack power distribution via a single input with multiple output receptacles. Individual outlet control provides advanced load management. Real-time remote monitoring and user-defined alarms help prevent potential circuit overloads that can cause accidental power loss to critical equipment.


Outlet Control Capabilities

Included capabilities include individual remote on/off by outlet, power-on sequencing with time delays, outlet level grouping, and outlet grouping on multiple APC Switched Rack PDUs.


Remote Management Capabilities

Easily access, configure, and manage this metered PDU from remote locations. A network management interface provides standards-based management via Web, SNMP, and Command Line Interface.


Switched Power Distribution

This Switched PDU from APC provides (21) IEC 60320 C13, (3) IEC 60320 C19 outlets to supply power to rack equipment. User customized alarms and an embedded memory log are included.


Active Power Measurements

Volts, amps, real power (kW), and energy (kWh) data is provided to support energy management. An embedded log memory to reports historic metered data.


Interactive LCD Display and Temperature Port

Display details current, power, and voltage measurements and offers local user access. An environmental monitoring port for external temperature/humidity monitoring is available (sensor sold separately: model AP9335T or AP9335TH).


Conveniently Power Rack-Mount Equipment

Easily mount this vertical PDU in racks or enclosures. It occupies zero U of valuable rack space, which allows space for more equipment in the rack.


Toolless Rack Mounting Capability

This vertical PDU does not require additional tools to mount into APC NetShelter Enclosures.


Resettable Circuit Breakers

Enables a quick recovery from overload events and breakers are ultra low profile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent, but buggy firmware, insecure mgmt modules We have a bunch of these. They're good for monitoring power and temperature. They reliably provide power to our systems. The downside -- they are horrible about adding features. No firmware updates in nearly 2 years despite some glaring missing features. No LDAP support for authentication - they only support insecure, unencrypted RADIUS or local accounts. TELNET is open by default. Our security team is not happy with these. Unable to hot swap the controller module in case of failure - they need to be powered off before servicing, meaning that the entire PDU must be de-energized for service if the control module fails. Overall, these are adequate devices that could benefit from a few engineering tweaks that could make these excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device, horrible dangerous plugs I love this PDU but the plugs are basically holding in on good hopes and prayers. I can't believe that there's not some kind of strap/lock mechanism for these things as just moving a cable can result in it dropping out/falling free. I know APC didn't design the spec, but the product is almost unusable without constant vigilance. Once of the machines in a frequently neglected rack fell out just from what I can only guess was fan vibration (which is almost imperceptible)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always solid! Works well. Have used these for our recommendations when power cycling is required for DC installs. Have functioned well and haven't ever had issues. Great support also!
