The USB power plugs are handy and do seem to provide full power for phones and tablets as verified with a DROK USB Tester, while not drawing any measurable power themselves when not being used, as verified with a Kill-A-Watt Electricity Usage Monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable Company product Ordered this after learning this was a reliable brand and they provide lifetime warranty and coverage for any electronics damaged if the surge protector fails. I have high quality gaming PC & monitor plugged in so wanted good protection. Lots of outlets and 2 USB ports for charging devices. Has green light that glows on two corners to indicate it's functioning properly. Will get good test on it this summer when lightening storms return. Will update if any issues in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Surge protector I wanted to get a new surge protector to protect my electronics. I have a few store bought regular surge protectors but compared to those this one is significantly built better. The spacing for the outlet plugs have more space in case you have one of those bigger plugs. They also have safety closures. If you do not use the outlet you can close it. The lighting on the edges lets you see if the power is turned on it turns blue and is very easy to see from a distance as well as looming very esthetic. The power cord itself is thicker meaning the power it will draw from your wall is safe. This has to be the best surge protector I purchased. It also has a very high Jul rating. Worth the investment to protect your electronics. Highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design Bought it in June of 2022. So far not power surge and no fire. The product has enough room for small and large plugs. The design is nice and slim to fit in tight places. The green light is a nice a touch, knowing it's grounded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OK But Beware of OFF Overall product is fine with one exception. The switch wants to be in the OFF position. Because of this, I have twice accidentally switched OFF my computer while working. The switch should not give preference to either position ON or OFF. Check your manufacturing specs to correct this flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, but has intermittent coil whine. Find myself having to constantly unplug it when it's not in use. There is very faint coil whine—the sound is faint but audibly oscillates between two frequencies every second. The sound seems to occur when the surge protector has been plugged in for a while and peripherals have been on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect protection for my studio I chose this unit because APC is a trusted brand and the amount of protection it provides is perfect for the high end equipment that I’m connecting to it. I love that I have a use for all of the plugs versus others of this caliber that have cable, phone or Ethernet connections that I don’t need. I like the fact of having the protective covers over the unused plugs, however I took away a star due to they they don’t cover the ground hole so I put a light duty tape over top to prevent dust settling inside, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I would definitely purchase another when I need it.
