4 times the Runtime!
This wonderful accessory (for the Back-UPS Pro models) can extend the runtime of the normal UPS up to a minimum of 47 minutes! However, with light loads, the increase can be *many hours* of runtime. A large increase in assurance for not that much more money!

I love this unit, keeps my server on for about 40 minutes and if everything is on it will last about 10 minutes. I had the APC J15BLK APC J15BLK 12-Outlet J-Type Power Conditioner with Battery Backup (Discontinued by Manufacturer)before this unit and the BR1300 is fraction of the price. This powering: ITX computer, HDMI switch, Router, Switch, Bluetooth adapter, Wii, Blu-ray Player, FiOS Set top box and ONT power box, Receiver, Network Attached Storage (58 TB) and 37 "TV

This works fantastic paired with the BR1500G unit. Provides plenty of extra juice over just the base 1500 UPS. Easy to connect to the port on the back. Additional Battery Packs are always a plus!

Great Add-On
Makes a great product even greater. If you've already purchased the UPS, and need to add capacity, the External Battery Pack is a good solution. You keep the value of your earlier purchase, while getting the capacity increase you needed.

This product has a short power cord!
The BR24BPG works fine with the Back-UPS Pro BR1500G. The cord, which is part of the Battery Pack (BP), is only 11.5 inches long. Had to install the BP up-side-down on top of the Back-up unit to prevent bending the cord sharply. Wanted to put the BP 6 feet or more away from the Back-up unit on the floor so it would not be on the desk top. An extension cord with the appropriate connectors and large gauge wires would be a useful accessory. The Back-UPS Pro has easy access to the battery pack, there does not seem to be any way to replace the battery packs in the BP. The BP does not provide any indication that it is actually working correctly and it does not have an ON/OFF switch. The only indication that it is working is to view the display on the Back-UPS Pro.
