Alcatel-Lucent SAR-18 Shelf

The Alcatel-Lucent SAR-18 Shelf offers optimum scalability. It has 18 slots, out of which two are allocated for control and switch modules (CSMs), with the remaining sixteen being available for user interface cards. This shelf is compatible with the Alcatel-Lucent 7705 service aggregation routers. The platform can be optionally configured with a redundant control and switch module and uplinks. It can optionally support 1+1 fully redundant CSMs for high availability.
