The ZeeVee HDBridge 2520 is a two channel 720p encoder and RF modulator that converts up to two Component or VGA sources into standard digital cable channels and broadcasts them over coax cabling to an unlimited number of displays using the digital (QAM) tuner in the television or display.
The 2520 features two full-sized DIN inputs and includes two 3 ft ZeeVee Hydra DIN to multi-RCA breakout cables that enable connecting component video, composite closed captions, digital and analog audio. ZeeVee DIN to VGA cables are available for connecting VGA sources (sold seperatly). Component and VGA inputs are ideal for connecting satellite receivers, cable boxes, and digital signage players.
Video is encoded into MPEG-2 and audio into AC-3. VGA input supports a wide range of resolutions from 640 x 480p/i to 1280 x 720p, and component input supports 720p60 and 480p/i. VGA inputs can also be broadcast in 1080p/i30 centered in the best vertical fit. 1RU rack ears are integrated. Linking up to built-in tuners eliminates the need for matrix switches or receivers. Output to an unlimited number of displays is possible by using optional splitters.
