The Wasp WWS550i wireless barcode scanner delivers unmatched freedom, flexibility, and functionality in a value-packed, lightweight design. Eliminating the clutter and tangle of cords, the WWS550i rapidly scans barcodes in retail, light industrial manufacturing, warehouse, office, mail room, and mobile service environments. The CCD LR scan engine scans all popular linear (1D) barcodes with a scan range up to 12”.
The WWS550i’s wireless Bluetooth functionality makes it easy to capture data on your smartphone or tablet device. Simply sync the WWS550i to a PC, Android™, or iOS® device, including an iPhone®, iPod®, and iPad®, and you’re ready to scan 1D barcodes. Wireless connectivity allows for up to 33’ line of sight from an Android or iOS device and up to 160’ line of sight from a PC. Easily integrate the WWS550i and accurately track inventory, manage assets, and simplify POS transactions on-the-go.
The built-in, rechargeable battery is capable of over 3,960 continuous scans on a single charge. The WWS550i includes an out of range indicator and a low battery warning that automatically alerts you when your device is operating in less than optimal conditions.
The WWS550i wireless barcode scanner includes a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty covering material defects.
If you would like to double this coverage, WaspProtect extended service plans cover accidental breakage and can provide coverage beyond the original warranty.

If I could give this a - star I would
The documentation is afoul, I tried to get it to pair with 3 different system running Windows XP, 7, 8 and none of them would see it.
Do not waste your money on this product, you will only be returning it after a few days of frustration

Great Wireless Scanner
Works well and does the job. Did not give a five start because to program the barcodes you have to print out the codes to set up the scanner (codes are included in a DVD). But overall good buy price and delivery.

Low cost scanner, ok value
Unit is good if you aren't going to be taking it too far from the attached PC. When it loses connection, it must be reinstalled. Would love for it to automatically reconnect if the connection was interrupted..

Great, Reliable Scanner
Within the past couple of months, I've tried a couple unrelialbe scanners, but now I've found a great scanner I can count on. The others I tried could not keep connection with my devices. This one was super easy to connect and start using. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow.
The scanner is in use anywhere from 5-9 hours a day 5 days a week and I have not had any complaints of it dying out.

Easy to use. Great Price!
This scanner has been great. The Bluetooth was very easy to pair with a tablet I use for verifying inventory. I have purchased additional quantities of this scanner and CDW's price can't be beat.
