Adding optional sensors to a Vertiv Geist Environmental Monitor or Rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU) allows users to observe conditions from a secure Web interface and receive alerts via Email, SNMP, or Email-to-SMS.

It's easy to configure, good options- it does a good job! I like that it can be powered over Ethernet.

I have used other products that required onsite power and it was not able to monitor where I wanted. This would make placement of the monitor easier to use.

This device is easy to use and setup. I record temperatures in a database through alert emails.

Easy to set up. Triggers are very configurable. Since it sends email, no need to have some third party application that monitors the monitor. When the device hits the trigger, it emails. Dead simple.
