It handles my flat panel TV, 5.1 sound system, cable box, Blu-Ray player, ethernet cable and on-the-air TV antenna cable. It's very easy to set up and I find the safety covers on the electrical outlets to be a really nice feature. I bought a second one for use with my computer equipment. Highly recommended.

The cord is nice and long, the outlets conveniently spaced apart and the holes on the back of the unit allowed me to mount it on my wall. I bought it during the most Recent "Dells days of deals" and it was at least 50% less then a similar product at a local store. I use it in my living room and really like the flush mount plug in. It allows me to push my entertainment centre right up to the wall which helps hide all the cords I have hidden back there.

This product is the best I came across searching for Lightning Protection on top of surge protection, at least from what could find from Tripp-Lite...most of my house is protected by Tripp-Lite and I don't plan on that changing anytime soon. When I called with some questions about what they would protect, lets just say for simplicity sake they were so confident nothing would get zapped through this even if I was hit by lightning...they almost shrugged it off as whatever you wanna plug in within the limits of safely so the device could still do its job. That is reassuring...considering they weren't blowing me off, they just didn't seem very concerned it could possibly happen. If there was anything I would change, I wish it could do 10/100/1000 for ethernet (and came with two cords lol) instead of just 10/100 but i'm not knocking off a star for something I was well aware of and the one cord was a bonus as it is. It has enough voltage for my entire PC setup I run through an SU1500XLCD, without all the mass amount of bells and whistles, but none the less...you won't be lacking for juice on a 15 amp breaker to say the least. Port covers are extremely nice and seem solid, it can be wall mounted like most of their surge protectors. Even came with a phone line, which I suppose would be nice if you own a fax. Not much else to say in all honesty...great product, great company. I can't think of any reason NOT to buy this, unless you need a faster ethernet port protected desperately.

Just learned that these devices have a lifespan and had a power surge take out my receiver and cable box. I bought this particular one since it defaults to not working rather than just loosing protection and having to rely on an led (behind my entertainment center) to tell me I'm protected. I'd rather have the inconvenience of my devices not working all of a sudden because I need a new surge protector than have to drop $500 on a new receiver that had been working without being protected.

We had to go with a somewhat longer cord, due to the angle of the cord where it exits the right-angle plug; but we did not need 10 feet. Joules and clamping voltage (330/400/400V) are excellent. We don't need all the outlets, nor the Coaxial/Ethernet/2-line modem/fax surge protection, but we had to get this unit for cord length and level of protection. It hasn't yet been tested by a surge, but so far, so good.

The electrical outlets have slide covers so things can't get into the unused sockets. It has a plugs and outlets for a network line, telephone line and coaxial line as well. Plus it has lights to let you know that your lines are grounded and the switch is "on". I am currently using two: one for my home theater system and the other for my computer equipment. Highly recommended.

I did not use the Modem/Coax/Ethernet jacks because the cable is not long enough as computer and phone outlets are in separate rooms. I had another company's model but now they do not make them they used to. This model is sturdily made unlike the thin encasing that seem to be the standard produced by other companies. Very pleased with it. Considering getting another for another desk computer and or laptop and a couple of desk lamps.

This protector appears well built and has the required ability to remove power from my devices if the protection activates and is no longer protecting. The outlets are well spaced to allow adapters to plug in easily as well as standard cords.

Very few products seem to have this capability. We also liked the joules rating and the number of available outlets. It is also compact and keeps the cords neatly under the desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working just fine This surge protector was purchased to protector our computers, monitors, attached audio and modem equipment. We're in Northern California, where public safety power shutoffs have been historically random and haphazard, as well as hazardous to electronic equipment. I have used my inverter generator infrequently as well, and thus far this surge protector has functioned without a hiccup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as Promised Have had this product for approxiamately 1 year and it has performed as described. Power has gone off 4-6 times and allowed me to shut down with no problems. Just sits on the top of the file cabinet doing "its thing"
