The Tripp Lite 8-Outlet surge suppressor is suitable for different electronics, and it offers protection against power surges, spikes, and lightning strikes. The 3240 joule AC surge suppression technology also safeguards electronics from interference caused by noise in the line. This Tripp Lite 8 outlet surge protector features connections to defend up to eight electronic devices as well as phone, fax, and modem lines from damage. Connect cable modems, satellite TV, and transmission antennas to the two groups of coaxial plugs on this 120V surge protector with a 6-foot long coaxial cable for further device protection. This model features a 15-Amp breaker to protect from overloads. When circuit compromise occurs, the unit automatically shuts down power to the outlets. Diagnostic LEDs indicate when the surge protector is grounded and adequately functioning while an alarm warns when suppressor damage has occurred. It works flawlessly
I've had this surge protector for a few years now. It sits tucked behind my entertainment center with everything plugged into it (TV, DVR, DVD, VCR, Wii etc.). I've never had a problem with it. I have confidence that it will continue to power and protect my equipment for years to come.

Very convenient
I purchased the TLP810SAT because it offered excellent insurance protection covering my expensive TV equipment. I trust the brand and found it very convenient. This unit protects your coaxial connections as well as telephone lines. It also allows one to plug in big transformers that are normally difficult to plug into conventional surge protectors
