Tripp Lite's IBAR12/20ULTRA offers network-grade surge and noise suppression in a versatile all-metal multi-mount cabinet with NEMA 5-20P input plug and 20 amp capacity. Detachable mounting flanges are configurable for rackmount, wallmount and under-counter installation, using only 1 rack space (1U) when installed in any 19 inch EIA standard rack. Features network grade AC surge suppression with EMI/RFI noise filtering. Outlets are arranged in exclusive isolated filter banks to limit noise interaction among connected items. Includes 12 outlets (2 front mounted 15 amp / 10 rear mounted 20 amp), 15 ft AC power cord and guarded power switch to reduce the risk of accidental shutoff. Diagnostic LEDs indicate AC present, line fault and protection status.

Rock Solid Performer
I work in IT for a large hospital system and we use the TrippLite surge suppressors in all of our IDFs so when it came to building the media center rack at home i didn't even have to think about it. Tripplite every time, you know you'll get reliable, high quality and attractive looking hardware.

Plenty of outlets!
I bought this for my home entertainment system which includes a HTPC along with several components and a HDTV. I wanted surge protection along with the ability to turn off all the units with one button when not in use to conserve energy. This is the perfect product for my needs.

Highly recommend
Looks to me as though it's very well built. It's very sturdy. I use it to power my sound system which calls for a lot of current. This product offers multiple outlets which was perfect for my use, and includes both 15 and 20 amp outlets. Great product.

I definitely would buy this item again
The units is being used to control RF, Digital and video equipment's used in Amateur Radio station setup.
It provides a common access point for emergency shutdown in case of lightning or other power occurrence's requiring an emergency shut down.

Needed a 20 amp surge Protector and this is The Best of the Best !!!!!!! Very quiet compared to an ordinary one. a little expensive but worth every penny and more

As good as it gets for rack surge protection.
I have several of these mounted in various equipment racks used for some pretty sensitive electronics where surge protection and filtering are critical. A 20a rating is a huge plus. The LEDs on the front tell at a glance that everything is OK (or not) while the two front mounted outlets come in handy for when you need an outlet and don't want to dig around inside the rack for an unused one. The front mounted power switch is a nice touch. The fewer times I have to go into the rack - the better. This item is solid metal, sturdy and heavy, which usually translates to 'quality'. A little pricey? Sure. The good stuff always is. Worth every penny. I have been using Tripp-lite products for 3+ decades and will continue to do so. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anybody.
