That said, it is a solid, heavy unit, looks like it should do the job. It does have a minor rattle inside, which I hope is of no significance, but since I was looking for a wall mount surge suppressor with coax connections and could not find one locally, I'm pleased.

I need an outlet (with a surge protector) which allows me to power several devices in a cramped space. This gives me the flexibility to power devices to the left and right of my outlet. The 1200J protection is an added bonus as I attach my cable modem for strategic wi-fi setup.Happy to find this and that it works so well.

I have other Tripp Lite products and this one is also of good quality and works well. Hope that the surge protection is never needed, but this unit makes for good insurance.
