TomTom GO 600 - GPS navigator is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay, but We purchased our GO 600 about one month ago. Overall it seems to be a good GPS unit. However, it is not user friendly. I like the view as your drive, but instructions are not that good. Send a short manual (more than we got) on basic uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beats the Competition! My son gave me a Tom Tom One several years ago. The screen was small but I was pleased with its performance. Product support was discontinued and I decided to look for a replacement. Unfortunately, I found a great price on a competing product and purchased their unit. It was an unmitigated disaster. The style was nice and the display attractive. BUT its route planning was horrendous. I like driving with the GPS on, to alert me to upcoming streets and turns. Tom Tom One had been useful in daily driving. So, you can't believe how disappointed I was in the competing unit. The competitor would plan routes that were almost 50% longer than routes I routinely take. And, the competitor refused to re-route a trip while I was driving, constantly displaying 'make a U-turn', rather than updating the changes that I made while driving. After two months I gave up and ordered the Tom Tom 600. It's a beautiful unit and had all of the features that I wished the competing product had. Most importantly, out of the box it planed routes the way that I drive, and coincidentally planned faster routes than the competitor model. My only regret? I wasted money on a competing model that I trashed two months after I bought it. For me, it's Tom Tom for life!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean view, great size It's a little rough to learn. The instructions are only pictures and a few brief words. No blue tooth but its okay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simpler to use So far I really like the Go 600. I have not had a chance to take it on a long trip yet. But what I have noticed is the screen is much larger, and far less cluttered than my previous TRomTom 910. I would really appreciate it if there was a short users guide. I really don't have the time or the desire to go through a 100 plus page manual when the same could be accomplished in less than 20 pages. The unit should also come with a simple plastic case to offer minimum protection in a glove compartment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from returned I have an old tomtom gps that I like a lot. I returned this one because traffic works with the cell phone, so if cell is needed for traffic, I may as well use just the cell for gps....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not what i wanted i was told this was the replacement for the 1605m RV. This most certainly is nothing like the 1605. i had a 1605 and loved it until it stopped working after years of use. i went to buy a new one and was told they were replaced with this but this is nothing like it. What happened to the RV models? i travel the country alot from maine to montana to luisiana to maryland and have owned several garmins(wont waist my money on another EVER) and found tomtom to be the best. please tell me you still make an RV based gps

Rated 2 out of 5 by from After having the TT 2535 the go600 is a loser. Very stingy use of split screen at inter sections.Automatically changes rout if there is a traffic problem ahead. I want to be ask if I want to take the alternative route like the 2535 asked. TT is going down the tubes .
