Its always worked on every PC ive tried!
Is worth a couple extra bucks for one that just works!. Ive gone through many cheap USB to serial adapters that have required searching for drivers, using 3rd party tools to figure out what the hardware even is, or that flat out don't work, maybe the 1st time, maybe 5 uses later on same PC. This adapter works every time on every Windows pc I've tried it on. I work in a corporate hub with 70 remote locations and this is the adapter I tell remote techs to buy when one is needed. No one has had a problem.

It works.
This is a simple Adapter and it works. No drivers needed on anything I have used it with. The design allows you to pull and push on it and the RS-232 adapter does not come apart like others I have used. I am buying a couple more for work.

I received my serial-USB adapter exactly as promised from CDW. The drivers were on a small CD and the only computer I had with a CD was an old Windows laptop. The installation was easy and I was connected to my ASA5505 In minutes. No complaints at all with CDW nor the adapter. I’m not sure if the drivers are available from another source other than the CD though.

This is THE serial-to-USB adapter you need
We used a variety of S2U adapters with brand names like Tripp Lite in the past. But even the good ones would always run into a device which it was not compatible with or a Windows OS for which the driver was not stable enough, until we found this TrendNet adapter. Now we standardize on the Trendnet because it has never given us a problem in the field.

Very high reviews on Amazon led us to get this adapter for a serial label printer at a university Library.
Plugged it in, right out of the box, and Widnows 7 (64) found the drivers online. Changed the port on the label printer and made a successful test print.
Will be using on a 2014 Intel NUC (4xUSB, no RS-232).
Will change rating and review if the adapter has issues.
