This is Scotch PRO thermal laminator that will laminate items up to 13 inches wide. It is a 4 roller system that has two temperature settings. The pro laminator prevents jamming. It is photo quality and will laminate up to 6 mil thick pouches.

I'm a teacher, and I've used this product successfully for the last 8 months 100 times, to be exact (I just ran out of my first box of pouches). Yesterday I plugged it in, ready to break into my second box of pouches, and it wouldn't turn on. So I moved it to a different outlet and tried again. It heated up really quickly, but then STARTED SMOKING out the front AND the back. I'm NOT turning it on again. So... was it built to last for only 100 pouches? What a terrible product. So very disappointing. I'd like to buy a new one, but I'll look for another brand.

Just another cheap product inlandfill now. I wish companies would stop making cheap stuff that has such a short life. Obviously the reviews here tell me this is a weak design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SteveR from Horrible Product We bought one of these for my office in Spring of 2017 and it was dead by January of 2018. There were no lights and it didn't warm up at all. We got a replacement and that just died. Maybe I'll plead with customer service to see if we can get another one, but what's the point? I would estimate that both laminators were used a total of 20 times. 3M should be embarrassed to put their name on this product.

I have had it less than 6 months and I haven't used it on a regular basis. Would love to know how to solve this problem. I'm using Scotch brand sheets of the proper thickness.

Love having the different laminator sheet thickness options and the wide opening. A must have for the classroom! I also have another one at home. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
