Samsung Keyboard Cover EJ-CG930 - keyboard is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes typing faster with less typos Can type much faster with the keyboard than with touch screen typing. Pressing the space bar twice automatically types a period (at the end of a sentence) so you don't have to hit the alt and "M" keys. Pressing and holding the alt key for a few seconds (until you feel the little vibration) puts the keyboard in an alt-lock mode, making numeric typing easier. Also, can easily press the symbol key to choose from commonly used symbols (punctuation such as question mark, exclamation, hyphen, comma, semi-colon, period, etc. as well as numbers, etc.) so that you also don't have to type the alt and another key. Has an emoji button which displays the emojis. Shows suggestion words as you are typing, same as from touch-screen typing. Other reviewers stated they keep pressing the home key accidentally instead of the space bar - I have NOT had that problem. You can also press the microphone key to speak-type. Overall, typing is great on the keyboard and beats touch-screen typing. I came from an older Samsung Stratosphere II with fully slide-out keyboard, and adapted to this keyboard very quickly. Wish the following features were added:1) The backplate cover does not fully cover and protect the volume and power buttons on the sides of the phone, like many standard cases do. Those buttons can break if not protected.2) Some type of backlight ability , so can use it in dark environments.3) Finger-print scanning ability. If you have a numeric pin with the fingerprint lock set for unlocking, you are forced to type the numeric pin, which can be a hassle if you need to quickly unlock your phone with the keyboard on the screen. Maybe Samsung should redesign the case to have a cutout for the area where you can scan your fingerprint, or allow some area of the exposed screen area to read your fingerprint when the screen is in lock mode.4) Color options, so that you can at least match the color of your phone (example, gold, silver). Black is the only color available now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice keyboard, bad software The keyboard is average but not comparable to others from competitors. Of course, it isn't a true physical keyboard so you can't expect that. This thing taps the screen to input text. No back light, and all that. It works pretty well, gets the job done. Doesn't protect the phone enough and you can't add another case on top. Software experience is TERRIBLE with this. No themes, keyboard is still buggy after a few years. Symbol/emoji menu doesn't allow shift, alt, space. Outer keys feel different from inner ones. If you really care about physical keyboards don't buy this. If you want/need a Galaxy S7 and want a sub-par physical keyboard experience, get this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great keyboard, great case. I got this because my ability to type has gone down hill due to changes in technology mixed with changes in my health. I wasn't entirely sure if this would help or not, but I got it to see how it might help my situation. While it seems odd to get a nice smartphone and slap a physical keyboard on it, this has come in very handy for lengthy typing sessions and when I can't work the touch screen properly. The keyboard removes easily so I can switch back and forth to touch screen when I need to. And the case it works with is gorgeous and feels great in my hand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Camera issues with keyboard on! The keyboard is OK but the fact it's not backlit and ESPECIALLY camera does not show any modes like panorama or slow motion when the keyboard is attached is a serious technical/program issue. I don't want to detach keyboard EVERYTIME I want to take a photo or change resolution - it does not make any sense!!! Please make an update for this ASAP!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic product This keyboard makes typing much easier than using the virtual keyboard. Although adding some bulk to the phone, and reducing the visible screen size by 30%, it provides for rapid typing with real, physical feedback. It disconnects simply and quickly from the phone, and can then be stored to the rear of the phone. One drawback of the keyboard is that it does not allow you to choose a full-protective case for the phone, as the dimensions do change when it is attached.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was disappointed that the keyboard was not versatile enough to fit using other back cases. I use a holster style case and i had to completely remove the holster case to use this keyboard. The keyboard itself works well and has tactile feedback. The hassle of removing my holster case means i wont be using the keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone Samsung has done a great job with this phone. My last phone was the Samsung Galaxy S5, and this one outperforms it in just about all areas. The only things that I wish this had, are the replaceable battery, and the infinite scroll between pages. The camera and the features built into the camera are phenomenal. The colors are great. Not sure why it thinks my name is NotLovingThis, but that is not me.
