I watch videos from various sources like Netflix and Hulu, since I cut the cord I find myself watching YouTube tv more often on my tablets than on my actual tv. I have been mostly been living in the apple ecosystem, I also own an iPad Pro and Microsoft surface pro. I had was a Samsung galaxy tab s2, which I loved but displayed a 4:3 aspect ratio which wasn’t ideal for movies. Now, that I have been given the opportunity to purchase this tablet at a reduced price for my honest review as part of the insiders campaign, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 using a Super AMOLED HDR capable display in a 16:10 ratio is my go to device for video. Throw in the quad speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support and you have one amazing portable movie machine . After watching my first movie on this tablet, I went and bought a 256gb micro sd card and now I keep it topped off with movies and tv shows so no matter where I’m at I can watch! I didn’t play many mobile games before, but with this tablet’s processing capabilities, I am loving the immersive quality gaming. Downloading and getting into games from the google play store is so easy and fun, and this tablet has the power and display to handle anything you throw at it. On the more serious side. This tablet came loaded with office for Android, and with the optional keyboard I’m running out of reasons to put off doing the things I need to do. It is better to be sitting outside of my house finishing off a PowerPoint than inside my office at work. With the included Dex mode, which basically puts a desktop layout onto your android tablet, I find it’s less time consuming and even dare I say it, a little more fun to work on my presentations or documents while sitting on my deck in the backyard than under the glaring fluorescent lights of the office, and I can even stream some music in the background while I am doing it. I can still use my favorite wired headphones on this tablet because yes, this tablet has a headphone jack! It also works very well with Samsung SmartThings which I have been controlling and monitoring my house with for years, another of the many huge pluses of this tablet. The S pen is incredible for note taking, working on documents, and generally controlling my tablet. But with all of the other features, google assistant, Knox Security Platform and all the available apps, this tablet is now an integral part of my day! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really .......wow and ok ok.....I haven't had a Samsung device in over 12 years I almost forgot how awesome there platform really is. I got lost in translation for some years now hypnotized by Apple I could go on about them but this is about Samsung. I purchased the galaxy s4 tab and I am lost for words. I love it. Gaming etc etc wow. I'm gonna upgrade my phone to Samsung galaxy too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far it great, except missing a nice featureBought with keyboard, replacing my S2. I bought to use instead of laptop at meetings, looking for how to record voice, it doesn't. (have to add a 3rd party app) Love the s-pen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AmazingI bought the Samsung Tab 4, and it is a absolutely awesome. It performs like a miniature PC when you add the keyboard to it. Put in a 400gb card and you have plenty of room for performance. Use Microsoft to start a project and finish on PC or tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better every yearI've had all the S series tablets but this one is amazing. I couldn't imagine the screen being any better but it is absolutely vibrant! The only thing I miss is the fingerprint sensor for logging onto apps. The pen is terrific and I bought the keyboard case and love it. It even holds the pen. I still wish the pen was held within the tablet like it used to be. The tablet is expensive, but like they say, you get what you pay for. This tablet does not disappoint. And don't forget about Dex. I use the tablet for media consumption, not work, but it's there for those that need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am thrilled to have have this as a tablet.I have an I pad for work and the Samsung S4 tablet with the keyboard. I am very pleased with the Samsung S4 Tablet. I prefer this over the I Pad. The only down side is the keyboard. Very touchy and is not secure, when docked with the keyboard. The keyboard viewing angle should be better, with the ability to make adjustments, would be beneficial.Also, the pen holder on the keyboard, is a poor design, and the pen keeps dropping out. I don't think anyone in their right mind would design and build this without trying it out. Not very well thought out. Had this for a month now, read the manual, online information and experiment, to learn of find all the functions and features. Everyone should read as much information to be well versed in its capabilities. Having both, has helped with automation of all my gadgets at home. Including my HiFi equipment. Serves many purposes, besides email and internet surfing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the new S-penjust received my device. initial conclusion is over all it is a great device. the only down side is the inability to change what the button on the s pen can do. as well as in complete inability to turn off air command. Yes i could use dex but that is not why i Paid for the device. i do miss a home key and a FPS... i wish the iris scanner could be used with glasses this feature is useless to me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice!I've only had it for a few weeks, so there's a lot that I have yet investigate. So far though, I'm very happy with my S4. DeX is certainly an excellent feature, but I find myself switching back and forth, since DeX mode doesn't properly support some of my favorite apps -- Prime Video, Netflix, CNBC, FoxNews, Spectrum TV. I'd like to know if software updates will take care of this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has some issue that need to addressAlthough it's a brand new device, I had to restore back to the factory setting within a week due to the issues with the constant lockup and freezes with browser. I am also seeing skewed screen at times, and some flickering screens as well. It still have an issue on face regcognition and Samsung password. Other than that, its fast, and it has gorgeous screen. I hope they fix this issues. I will try for a couple more weeks before I will return it if the issue persist.
