Samsung redesigned the cover so that the hinge is on the back cover vice the front cover on earlier models. This makes it hard to open and the hinge flap gets in the way of the screen when opened.

Everything from the screen resolution, contrast and color - to the size, weight and portability is near perfect. The tablet is fast, and responsive. The screen is beautiful to behold. And the build quality is top-notch.There is actually nothing negative about this product.

For those that don't need a large display, this is a nice option. The viewing angles are nice and the colors really pop too. In regards to software, it packs in a lot of useful features. Whether it's for an adult that needs to get business done or a tablet for a child, the Tab S2 should be good for a lot of different scenarios. You can keep the experience basic or really dive in and take advantage of the software. Performance has been excellent. No noticeable slowdowns and it has handled all my tasks exceptionally.As for other parts of the tablet, the fingerprint sensor has been very reliable and convenient. I don't really use the cameras so I can't really comment on that experience. Then again, you're most likely carrying a smartphone that can take much better pictures. The speakers get the job done. You're not going to be wowed, but they should be loud enough to satisfy most. I haven't had any issues with hardware components. Everything has been functioning properly.

After helping him set his up (this was his first) I had to have one also... The features on this tab are remarkable. The clarity of the 8 inch screen is so much better than my old 10 inch. The size and weight with the super performance make this a most remarkable tool. Got everything right on this one.

So lite and the 8 inch screen is small enough to fit my bag but easy to see. Great color displayAll my information, photos, everything just moved seamlessly with SMART SWITCH. So easy. Can't say enough about my new Galaxy Tab2. It's Great!
