Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cracked Screen Up until now, I have been very pleased with my Samsung Chromebook Pro. Purchased Nov. 27, 2017, it is now just beyond the manufacturer's warranty period and the screen has developed a vertical crack from the top to the bottom of the screen about 1/4 of the way in from the left side. Seems like everytime I purchase a Samsung product, the product breaks or fails right after the warranty ends. This is so very sad and depressing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Chromebook, Why No Linux Support? The Samsung Chromebook Pro is arguable the best chromebook for the money on the market right now. My wife and I each own one and we truly love them. We only turn on our Windows laptops when we need an application that doesn't yet run on Chromebooks. Many of the missing Chromebooks apps are available as Linux apps, but sadly, the Samsung Chromebook Pro will not as YET run Linux apps. It seems illogical that cheaper less popular Chromebooks DO run Linux apps, but not the Chromebook Pro. Samsung needs to work with Google to expedite the changes needed to bring Linux apps to the Chromebook Pro. Once this happens, I'll change my rating from four to five stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great hardware but not worth it I´ve been using this device for almost a year....and luckily a month ago someone at least post a method for installing windows 10, the hardware is amazing....fast enough, full of great features like the pen, the touch screen, the rotating keyboard, but too expensive for only having 4gb ram and 32gb rom....if this device would have 8gb ram and 128gb ssd even for 100 extra bucks would be the best laptop even

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hardware I see the negative reviews and wonder what the disconnect is. I have had mine for about 8 months now and have had no issues. While I liked it as a Chromebook I have recently converted it to a Linux Mint (Tara) machine which makes for even better use of the hardware. With 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space, plus an additional 128GB SD, this machine serves as an excellent development computer. The Linux really makes this computer shine and I am no longer bound to having to be tethered to the internet to be truly productive. I thought I was going to have issues with the trackpad not being recognized but lo and behold when I rebooted the system after the install there it was!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful touch screen until it stops working Throughout my ownership of this device, the touchscreen has had random, highly obstructive phantom touch issues. After about 10 months, the spring that allows you to stow the stylus broke, rendering it highly impractical to use. OH, AND YOU CANNOT ORDER A REPLACEMENT. Additionally, regardless of factory resets or how the stylus is stored, the touch screen will no longer respond to physical touch, only the stylus. I regret this purchase, and do not recommend this device, especially considering how costly it is for something that only runs ChromeOS. Unfortunately, my warranty expired at the end of September, so I am stuck with a faulty unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Features but Touchscreen High Failure Rate I bought my unit when it was first released, knowing that this model would receive latest functional Chromebook features, such as Android app support. It's worked well until the touchscreen became unresponsive. I found this to be a commonly reported issue. Cost to repair out of warranty is prohibitive and even then, many report repeated failure after repair. Obviously, limited convenience as a tablet as pen is required for input.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic but stutters during streaming no 4G Well I wrote a great detailed review but it keeps saying 'profanity' even though there is no profanity so I cant post my review here. Its a great device but it stutters during external video playback and there is no (UNLOCKED sim) 4g support, fix those and it will be perfect
