Piper Security Card Beacon 1-100

A Beacon (iBeacon) is a small Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device that broadcasts a signal to nearby smart devices up to 150ft away. They come in a variety of form factors and can be custom designed to any enterprise application; send messages to smartphones through a compatible app to deliver engaging content or offers to customers, communicate with employees through Piper's closed network messaging, or trigger actions when a person with a smartphone gets near them, like changing the content on a nearby screen. Beacons are also configurable with a variety of sensors and security protocols to deliver real-time information about location, movement, environmental conditions, and more to aid in asset tracking and fleet management. Piper Beacons are unique in that they can not only transmit iBeacon and Eddystone protocols but for enhanced security, they can also transmit a custom Piper BLE signal. The Piper SDK also enables mobile applications to specify the range for detecting beacons which provides a more controllable experience and defined data capturing.
