Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy customer I love he SSD and it’s fast boot up. Battery life seems very good upon second thought excellent. Fit finish and feel is worth Lenovo premium vs their lower end models which don’t have the backlit keyboard. 15.6 screen is welcome change in world smartphone and tablet squinting. Overall high performance well finished machine that runs big excel and financial trading apps very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Less than 6 months are the screen died... I bought this on Nov 11th as a Christmas gift. It hasn't even been 6 months and we're having to have the screen replaced. Randomly decided to only display about 1/10th of the screen. ThinkPads used to be legendary for their quality, what the heck is going on with your quality control?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I sincerely hope my experience is a fluke! I starting using Lenovo laptops about 12 years ago when my job assigned one to me. They are now my preference. However, the QA on the T570 I just bought is disappointing. There wa a slight separation of the top of the casing from the bottom. I was able to squeeze most of it into place (but not all.) Then I found that the SD card slot does not release the card when I press the edge of the card. I have to pry it out. Everything else works fine but I am disappointed enough to give only two stars. I am wondering if the unit being assembled in and shipped from China is the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent build quality Great solid and stiff chassis, comfortable / ergonomic keyboard with decent travel on the keys, extremely good battery life. Extremely fast and no issues, glitches, or failures to date (2 months approx.). I can already tell this should be a long-lasting machine. Trackpoint and trackpad are very comfortable. Material on the lid is soft and good to the touch. I am extremely happy with this laptop and hope to have it for 8-10 years. I have a couple minor negatives to mention: the sound card is not great, just average (this is not a multimedia-focused laptop). The keyboard layout with the arrow keys near the pgup and pgdn keys is taking me a long time to adapt to - - but this is probably how Thinkpad keyboards have been laid out for decades. And lastly, the screen resolution is so high, that you must run Windows with all the text re-scaled, otherwise due to the high pixel density, text looks tiny in native resolution. This is probably the case with 80% of higher-end laptops since about 2016 and is probably a perk to most people since it makes all the visuals on the screen far crisper, but if you are used to older, pixelated screens, it takes a while to get used to.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible Keyboard layout Overall the laptop is very solid, the hardware very decent, but at this is marketed as a business laptop I cannot recommend it at all. One of the most used keys is your left control, and someone thought it was a good idea to move it, and put the function key at the end of the board where you would expect control to be. This makes daily typing and working an absolute irritation and I ended up buying a separate keyboard to remedy the problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice to have a working computer! So easy to set up. I don't have many computer needs. This laptop does what I need it to do.
