I was able to get the high-end features that I wanted in a business-focused laptop (FHD display, 16GB RAM, Fingerprint Scanner, large SSD) at a really affordable price. On top of that, I got to choose an AMD processor with the legendary Thinkpad build quality, keyboard, and most importantly the trackpoint.I know that this AMD architecture isn't as powerful as the Ryzen in the new A485, but for my uses (pivot tables in Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, some occasional Photoshop and InDesign) it's absolutely perfect. That said, the laptop feels significantly snappier when using many applications than the Intel i5-based laptop that it's replacing.I'd recommend this device to any professional looking for a capable yet affordable laptop.

Performance mediocre at CPU-intensive tasks.Iffy build quality -- left edge of mousepad creaked when pressed. Very "plastic" feeling.Lesson learned. If you want 'T' series quality, buy a 'T' series.

Rated 5 out of 5 byCharles99 from Solid Performer In Most RespectsThe A475 met my expectations in general. It has the typical Think Pad attributes: solid build, excellent keyboard, variety of ports. The AMD chip is fine for a light user. On the deficit side,the screen is not particularly bright or colorful and battery life is rather poor. (If ordering one, I would opt for the six cell battery).

I was pleased to find a much better price point and that the AMD A12 processor functions much faster than the comparable Intel i7 processor in my environment.

The only complaint I have is the battery life—it only lasts for a few hours of use with no charger. This is fine for me because I use it mostly around a charger, but if you were unable to access a port for several hours, this could be problematic.
