Rated 5 out of 5 by from This backpack is amazing! Best choice for P71. This backpack is amazing! It's very light, durable and sturdy. Great protection and padding for a heavy 17.3" laptop. Very slim at the same time! I carry my P71 monster around in it and the backpack looks much slimmer than my previous saggy backpack. Has plenty of pockets for any type of accessories. It has a USB port on the side to power devices outside with a power bank stored inside, neat! Has the luggage handle strap. Waterproof bottom. Best laptop backpack I've ever owned. Especially for a heavy & thick 17.3" workstation.

It's absolutely perfect for the computer and support hardware I carry, the straps adjust nicely and it's physically attractive. My only complaint is the retainer strap for the computer is too long to hold my 15" laptop tightly, it would be perfect with a 17". I would like to see more adjustability here. Not a big issue, it doesn't seem to affect it as the pocket is so deep it holds the laptop securely anyway.

It has many thoughtful features such as a carry handle, comfortable padded straps, and netted sweat band. It has a large amount of carry space, I use it for carrying 17" P73 fits & cooling pad and it still has room for chargers, batteries, you can even carry another laptop. For the 17" laptops although it is a bit tight in the corners but does allow to zip closes. No reservations recommending it.

I love this back pack. It has pockets for everything I take with me. So I sent the North Face back pack back and kept the Lenovo back pack.

Its really comfortable and spacious and at the same time doesn't look overly bulky even though I carry many things daily for work. the many interior compartments lets you organize everything for quick and easy access. As an IT technician, this bag replaces my over stuffed and awkwardly carried field kit I use at work. Not only does it protect my 17" laptop, it also enables me to organize all my tools to include numerous cables and a mini projector. This is the only bag I ever received compliments for because design is so neat and stylish. The built-in USB charger is convenient and it's usually a conversation starter with those who see it. The bag has a discreet pocket that's perfect to separate my personal non-work items and an expandable water bottle holder that fits my 32 oz. thermal. The bag is very durable, it endured a month of an outdoor environment, where I continuously stuffed it in a moving storage container with other bags. The Passage kept my belongings clean and protected; eventhough I exposed it to high heat, cold, sand storms, mud and morning dew/frost. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a ThinkPad P71 The ThinkPad P71 is large, heavy, and thick. Finding the right case for carrying it is difficult. My ThinkPad P71 fits PERFECTLY in the Lenovo 17 inch Passage Backpack. It was important to me that whatever solution I found for carrying my P71 would also accommodate my Thermaltake Massive 23 LX cooling pad. This Passage Backpack easily has enough room (and the correct dimensions) for both. As a side note, I recommend the Thermaltake Massive 23 LX cooling pad for anyone who owns a P71.The Passage Backpack is very well constructed. It's comfortable to sling over your shoulder or strap to your back. It is roomy without being overly huge. I don't use the external USB charging port, but I tested it and it works. I love my ThinkPad P71 and, with the 17 inch Passage Backpack, Lenovo has designed a great solution for comfortably transporting it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits a 17.3 laptop comfortably Cannot stress how happy I am that I got this. Needed a backpack to fit a 17.3 laptop that was 10 pounds, and it still manages to fit into the backpack's laptop sleeve. This backpack is padded on the back and the weight distribution really helps. In fact, occasionally I need to carry two laptops ( a 15 inch that is only a few pounds) and I can fit both in the back compartment. I've even carried tablets and other equipment in there at the same time. I picked this backpack because out of all the other backpacks I researched that could carry a laptop of that size, it was the most stylish, and had the best features. There's no giant logo, just a small tag on the side and the material is a slick grey that was my favourite out of all bags I considered. Features include space for a portable charger and having three separate compartments that are further compartmentalized for my laptop's giant charger as well as notebooks and my mouse. My only fear is that I will want to buy another and Lenovo will stop selling them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
