Rated 5 out of 5 byBill98 from Wonderful little computerThis is a wonderful little computer. I bought it as a travel computer, and it lives up to my expectations. The keyboard is typically good as all Lenovo keyboards are. It is small and light enough to read ebooks on the plane in tablet mode, but you can do serious work once you get to the hotel. Google's Chromebook package exceeded expectations. It can do almost everything my Windows computer can do, but the apps are free. I bought a wireless mouse to use with it since I've found that mice are much faster than using the touchscreen. The only negative is that Chromebooks do not have GPS chips and, therefore, you can't use mapping services in your car unless you tether to a cell phone.

The feel of the laptop is great. it doesnt feel cheap to me, It feels protected as it is meant to be.It turns on instantly from sleep and in a few brief moments from shutdown. The battery life is amazing as described. Touchscreen and stylus are all bonus and work well. Only one issue I had was Google Movies and TV through the android app did not work, but it did through the web.

I like the fact that it has the stylus and touch screen as well. This is the first Chromebook I have purchased since my very first Samsung Chromebook when they first came out which I still also use. Rated 5 out of 5 byOvidius from Amazing features for great priceThis is my 3rd Chromebook, and my 2nd from Lenovo. The stylus is why I decided to give my old one to my wife and "upgrade". I'm able to take notes in a variety of apps, and make sketches with no issue. My kids have used some drawing apps as well and are impressed. Rugged, the water resistant keyboard, Android apps, the touch screen, and of course the stylus - these are all features that drew me to the 500e. As a laptop it is fine too; I don't even miss my Macbook! The only feature I wish this had was a backlit keyboard. But at this price point I can't complain. Rated 5 out of 5 byteeshirt85 from Best Value!TDLR; Fantastic Chromebook for its value and for productivity in classroom and office settings.Not-so-good:It is pretty heavy and almost impossible to hold with one hand for long periods.Really good:The included stylus is great for school and note taking.Thus, the 500e gives good flexibility for the student to either type or write in tablet mode with practically no lag.The sound quality is also really loud for its size.The keyboard is also enjoyable to type on.And when comparing the listed price to its competitors', it is a really decent, enjoyable tablet that is great value for money.Furthermore, the Chromebook is able to access and download android apps from the Google Play Store that has unleashed a great potential for the Chrome OS. Overall, if you need a productivity machine for a decent price, and are tapped into the Google ecosystem, the 500e is a great option.
