The Kensington ProFit Mid-Size Wireless Mouse provides users with clutter-free productivity for a desktop PC. And it compliments mobile laptop usage for travel with a storable nano receiver. The ergonomic, right-handed design with a high-definition optical sensor offers precise and responsive control.
45 Great but not perfect This was the first Kensington product I've ever owned and I really like it. This mouse is by far the best I've owned but I cant customize the buttons on it. The middle button below the wheel doesnt work
15 Dies frequently I bought it less than a year ago and despite repeated battery replacement, plugging and unplugging receiver, and re-booting, it works only intermittently.
55 Better than an 80$ mouse. The product is perfect. everything works. the forward and back buttons work, the button for adjusting pointer speed is quite handy, the scroll wheel turns like scroll wheels are supposed to turn (with neither loud clicks nor annoying flowy spin; it has stopping points like normal). it feels sturdy, heavy I guess, when compared to a normal mobile mouse. it looks and feels and behaves like an 80$ mouse in every way.I've only had this mouse for a month, but even if it breaks in the first year I would buy another one just like it. I simply don't want any other mice. none are as good.
25 Ofter emits double click for a single button press The mouse was bought about year ago.It often generates two clicks for single button press. In browsers it leads to several new tabs opening or closing. Problems with text selection etc.In other applications it leads to other unwanted effects.
55 Great mouse, especially for the price I received this mouse as a holiday gift and it has become my everyday mouse at work. I use it at my desk, and when I take my laptop to a meeting or bring it home I grab the mouse and bring it along too. The "mid" size is a nice compromise between the down-sized laptop mice and the full-size desktop mice. I like the feel and the performance is very good. After 6 months of regular use it's holding up and working great.I also like that it takes two AAA batteries and the magnetic USB receiver capture under the device doesn't require opening a plastic cover.I do not expect these portable mice to last forever - if I get a year or two out of it I've gotten my money's worth, and I'd simply buy another one of these mice.
45 Good design that could have been great... For the most part, I love this mouse. Unfortunately, the great shape and feel are severely hampered by two issues: First, the slightly warped battery door has a rough edge that scrapes along on my mouse pad during regular use. Second, there does not seem to be any software support at all for this product, which makes the two side buttons completely useless.
